If you never had a massage, you don't know what you're missing. Footloose is a professional massage center that has been around for years now and has only improved. The staff are all professional and very courteous. The lobby has a small but comfortable waiting area where your masseuse will meet you. Then you are taken through a network of soft ambient lighting, potted plants and relaxing music towards your room. You are asked about any special needs you may have and offered various essential oils if you want. The massage is very methodical and so relaxing you could fall asleep. At the end of your session your masseuse will meet with you offering water before you leave. The entire process from start to finish is well choreographed and thought out. The rooms are cozy, quiet and warm with mellow lighting and pleasant music. The massage itself is what you want from many different techniques, my favorite being the Swedish Massage. My Mom came to visit me and we decided to get massages. I booked us an appointment about a week ahead of time and the whole process was very easy. We arrived about 20 minutes early. We were given paperwork by the friendly receptionist and were shortly greeted by Heidi and Eric. The atmosphere was nice and moody and smelled great. I've been dealing with some bad back pain and let me tell you, Eric was pure magic! I'm able to bend and twist today and it's relieving knowing he can help me again soon. 10/10 will return. Went to footloose tonight for a friend's birthday foot massage celebration. It was absolutely wonderful. The mood was set for total comfort. The large comfy couch you absolutely sink into. The lovely women who greeted us with an immediate offer of tea, followed by an adorable chocolate foot. The environment is soothing and relaxing. The masseuse started off by asking what scent we would prefer, then proceeded to to use the essential oil in the entire massage process. It was wonderful and luxurious. They did one foot a a time, taking time to make sure our feet were massaged into oblivion. We were also able to have lively conversation. I highly recommend footloose for relaxation. And they validate an hour's worth of parking in the parking garage right next door (which goes on top of the free hour the city is currently providing, so a 90min massage can be had without angst of parking fees.) Last time I was in, with ten minutes left in an enjoyable session my idiot brain decided it all a sudden would interpret all thoughts in a humorous context. I was feeling great, I guess. There isn't much that contrasts the setting of a massage more than an adult repeatedly stifling laughter while a masseuse is doing their best to maintain an environment of focus. I went and saw Mandy yesterday. She was so sweet and really helped me relax! She asked me about the lotions and oil scents I like and which areas I hold stress in. She was sincere, which I appreciate. I will be returning to see her. When I first walked in, I thought it was a pretty small area. There's not much room for seating and the couple behind me were helped before me (this is the reason for 4 stars and not 5). I have been getting massages here on a regular basis for the past year - anywhere from every two weeks to monthly. They have a lot of massage therapists on staff and scheduling an appointment is pretty easy. I really like that they bill insurance. It truly is a relaxing experience, even when you come in with some pain! I love the essential oils and the heat packs. Receptionists and staff are nice, calm and accommodating. I have had massages from Janelle and Anthony. Both are great at trigger point and deep tissue. My daughter is an athlete and has received massages from Mandy Lynn, Brighe, Janelle and myofascial release from Anne Marie, which she really liked. It is my understanding that Anne Marie, one of the massage therapists recently bought the business from Bobbi Hyland. It is always a good experience and in my book, a great investment! read more

I've been going to footloose for 4 years now. MarryAnne the owner is a great massage therapist. She helped me 2 years ago with an old skateboarding injury that that bothered me for 14 years. Footloose has become our favorite place for intentional relaxing time. Heidi is the sweetest and recognizes my voice and checks in with me while I'm making an appointment which is just such a nice way to start the process. I've been lucky to have Logan every time I've gone in recently and he's my favorite. Although we went in originally for deep tissue, my neck has been such a pain for a couple months now. Between office work and having a mobile phone, I try to stretch regularly and do yoga but nothing seems to get those deep kinks. Logan starts every session checking in with me too, making sure I feel comfortable (I've had sessions with other male therapists [not at this location] that have really made me wary of being worked on by men, coupled with my natural anxious self this is quite a feat!) and like our work is going to be personal, rather than just another body that he has to see today. He reminds me to relax in caring, nonjudgmental ways and really listens/feels my muscles to find those problem areas I probably don't articulate well (neck and shoulders is pretty general, he made me realize that it's really my chest too). I told him my goal was to be able to tilt my head back when I'm gargling mouthwash without wincing and I can say today after TWO sessions that it has been accomplished!! Seriously the kind of experience that makes us keep coming back, even when there isn't a deal! As a frugal person, this is probably my highest compliment. You can tell they're intentional about their staff because I've never met anyone there that wasn't kind and had a calming demeanor, even when they can wreck your sore spots with heavy pressure. After a lot of research my husband and I chose Footloose based on all the great reviews. We were not disappointed. We had a couples massage today for a celebration. We had Eileen and Lisa. I have never submitted a review on a business but knew I would have to for this experience! The atmosphere was wonderful. The room was perfect. All the staff, including the receptionist, does an amazing job keeping voices very quiet and comforting. The massages were WONDERFUL and we loved the optional scented oils. I called and made an appointment on my only day off in two weeks for a chair massage. It was a hot 90 degree day and the appointment was for 4 o'clock. When I went into the building it felt hotter inside than it did outside. I asked about the air conditioning and they said it was broke. I then asked if it was going to fixed anytime soon and they said no. Needless to say I wasn't interested in getting a massage in a sauna, since massages are typically supposed to be relaxing. Since they felt this was my issue and not theirs they still charged me $17.50 to cancel. This was my first experience with Footloose and will definitely be my last. I was nice and curteus the whole transaction and they didn't even offer me a gift certificate for when the weather might be better. read more

I was there today for a massage.... I thought the person who gave me my "full body" massage lacked technique and my little sister does a better job at finding and working the spots.... I will never pay $45 plus tip for a 45 minute massage there again... Left frustrated and had to drive home self massaging my neck which seemed tighter when I exited the building. The receptionist was excellent. I called same day for a 90 minute massage. She asked all the right questions and answered mine. What type of massage I like, preference male or female therapist, described relaxation, therapeutic and the more intense sport massage options. I was all set... Filled out a two page health form that had pictures to shade in the trouble spots. Also it was obvious that Brighde took the time to read what I wrote. Private rooms, dim, relaxing lighting, faux fireplace flickering, choices of fragrance. Brighde spoke with me for at least 10 minutes to get an idea of what I wanted. Then she got started. Heated massage table! Excellent pressure, communication and results. I mentioned my feet for some reason always get cold, she had a heated pad over my feet. The part of my massage that she did through heated pads on my back was really great! No being chintzy on time either. My appointment started at 1:30 and ended at 3:20! Honestly the Footloose name through me off at first however there menu is well rounded for all massage needs. I intend to make regular appointments and look forward to trying out other services. Brighde also gave me a coupon for a return visit. The receptionist remembered to remind me about the parking vouchers because my mind was swimming in relaxation on the way out....
