I am of the opinion that the gender of your therapist should not matter when it comes to massage but if this had been a male massage therapist i would have felt extremely violated. I asked specifically for her to work on my scalp and my feet. With places like this that have an obvious language barrier, it feels really important to do an intake form of some sort.
