I just wanted to report how much I think the distance Body Talk session with Hannah helped me.  I don't know how, and in part I'm afraid to jinx things by talking about it, but when I went out for a walk after our session I felt very different.  Like living with cancer was just fine.  I had to acknowledge that my health habits are improving, my symptoms are minimal, my weight is ideal, and nothing's standing in my way of living the life I want to live.  Underlying the "living with cancer" concept  is the belief that my body will respond to the positive changes I've made by healing naturally.   Her words about using my sense of taste for life, my sense of smell to sniff out danger (and safety), and my eyes for visioning, all hit home with me.  The sun was super bright coming through dark clouds, and the wind was really cold and bracing, but I felt safe, comfortable, and strong.  I walked to the end of the road and back as usual, jogging a little of it, and realized that I had forgotten to huff and puff as I trudged up the driveway without slowing my pace.  My breasts and arm pits complained a little, but I felt safe.  All's well.  The future is unknown but all's well right now.  Thanks, Hannah. read more

When we started the massage Hannah made sure I was comfortable, her table is soft and warm. She had a soft pillow under my knees and comfy soft blankets to keep me warm. She started with me face up. Asked me where I wanted to focus. I told her I needed special attention on my neck and shoulders. She felt right into my knots and held her hands firmly there as I breathe and released the tightness. She is intuitively working right in the area I needed desperately to let go. My neck has been tight for 5 years. When I released I felt my whole body relax even deeper. I am a massage therapist myself, I know a good massage when I get one. Hannah knows her stuff. She is empathic, I feel how deeply she cares. I am so Grateful I found her. I will be back. Hannah Torres is an incredibly talented massage therapist. She is knowledgeable about the inner working of the body and spirit and how to set it straight, as well as, a range of different types of massage. I've had her visceral massage, relaxation, and lymphatic massage. Sometimes I'm amazed at how great I feel the next day. She is receptive to the needs of the client and she makes many of her oils so that they work to perfection. I also find her office and work space charming and comfortable. Had a very through deep tissue massage with Hannah Torres. She works deeply without inducing pain (not always the case with massages). My recurring painful lower back felt much better afterwards, even a few days later - it wasn't just a feel good for a day massage.
