Seriously lucked out with this spot! It's a bit out of the way but seriously worth it--I don't know…read moreif you work at a desk but I've just gotten accustomed to a certain level of soreness/tightness that occasionally gets irksome and right now I can seriously roll my head 360 degrees on my neck without wincing! I've been shelling out for the more traditional Swedish deep tissue places recently after getting mediocre massages at Chinese foot massage spots even though those were my favorite from living in SoCal. But I was just desperate, calling around on a Sunday after getting called in to work last minute, hoping to find an appointment somewhere for me and the boyfriend to destress. They were so accommodating with my request, I got to come by right after I got off! Plus with the promo they have if you book online through their website it's the best deal in town. So I'm already giddy but the drive out there can be daunting when you live in town so I'm lowering my expectations. The woman who greeted us was so chipper and kind and we quickly got whisked to the back while they filled hot tubs to soak your feet. I wasn't sure what to dress down to but the women were so professional so even though there was a bit of a language barrier they made sure I was comfortable. The massage itself was wonderful, started out so relaxing I almost fell asleep (a pet peeve of mine I try to avoid, I want to be present for my enjoyment!) and then when she started working on my back/neck/shoulders I was amazed at my masseuse's strength! I prefer deep tissue because I associate the slightly painful pressure with the satisfaction of breaking my knots but she was intentional and focused on working them out with deliberate applied pressure. It wasn't painful so I wasn't sure how I'd feel afterwards...I was hoping she'd really crack my neck or something, it'd been so tight for the past month! But she must've known what she was doing because 6 hours later there's still no pain, no soreness, I can twist my back and neck and no twinges or resistance! We will definitely be back :) (also they have a groupon deal!)

Walking in we are greeted most enthusiastically by a lady who barely speaks English, so it started a little awkwardly with trying to get information. There is a board that shows $35 for a half hour foot massage. When we pointed to it I think we were negotiating...? Hahahaaaa!! Next thing you know we are both being walked back to a couple of side by side short sofas. There is a wicker basket to put your shoes and socks and pillows on the sofas for reclining. We both settled in as they brought out foot baths. These ladies are very courteous, polite and cheerful. They are enthusiastic about their work and do a good job. They put our feet in these baths to soak while they came around behind us and we got a neck and shoulder massage to start. Then they got to our feet and that massage was awesome. They weren't exactly delicate, but they were thorough and not rough. At the end of the massage they toweled off our legs (up to the knees) and feet and said we are done. Not very ceremonious either, but efficient. My feet feel great and I'm relaxed, considering we only went in to get some information and came out as clients. Yea, I would be tempted to go back with any muscle issues. If you want an aggressive muscle workout, I'm thinking this is your cup of tea. There is a large menu board on the wall in the office. It is easy enough to just point at what you want and you're in business. The place is clean and well kept. For the most part it looks like a lot of the rooms are cubbies with drapes, but the full body massage rooms have actual doors.

The staff are all professional and very courteous. The lobby has a small but comfortable waiting area where your masseuse will meet you. Then you are taken through a network of soft ambient lighting, potted plants and relaxing music towards your room. You are asked about any special needs you may have and offered various essential oils if you want. The massage is very methodical and so relaxing you could fall asleep. At the end of your session your masseuse will meet with you offering water before you leave. The entire process from start to finish is well choreographed and thought out. The rooms are cozy, quiet and warm with mellow lighting and pleasant music. The massage itself is what you want from many different techniques, my favorite being the Swedish Massage. I have been here before and I will be back.

Very comfortable to lie down on as well. Masseuse was very skilled and easy to communicate with- a true master. Paid for the full-length massage and found it very soothing but also effective and firm at evening things out when it needed to be. Would be a very good place for anyone, both people getting their first ever massage and those with lots of experience seeking a physical therapy-level one. I recommended her to a friend of mine, an injured soldier with serious back & knee problems, who said she was one of the best at her skill he'd ever encountered. Super sweet person as well; kind, cool, and easy to talk to. The thing that surprised me the most was how much better I felt over the next few weeks after my visit. Like I was 50 pounds lighter and the entire architecture of my torso had been reinforced to provide better posture, almost like a different person. Everything seemed to finally have been given a chance to breathe. And the price is very fair as well! I'll undoubtedly be back the next time I'm visiting Eugene. Can't recommend this place enough.
