Date of visit: 8/19/2021 Came here for breakfast today and tried 2 from the breakfast menu: - super breakfast with garlic bagel: ORDER IT! The garlic bagel was super yum with a lot of crispy garlic on the bagel itself. They used bacon crumbs to be mixed in the egg batter and 2 thin slices of ham. I wish it's little less veggies and a little more protein. The bacon egg was also too thick (too fluffy) and it made eating the bagel not easy. - breakfast with a kick with banana nut bagel: I can barely taste the sausage in my bagel and the egg was so thick that it came out of the stack and made a whole mess. I liked the freshness of the lettuce and the tomatoes and especially the avocado, however. Both bagels that I tried (garlic and banana nuts) were SUPER YUMMY! But I noticed that the eggs in both bagels that we ordered were microwaved fluffy egg and I personally do not enjoy this kind of egg. Before I left I asked if next time I could have my bagel with over-hard egg and was told that all of the eggs are cooked in the microwave and that's why it's all fluffy egg. I first came here for a Yelp event several weeks ago, and my family and I loved it so much we had to come back! We ordered an Everything bagel with cream cheese, a pizza bagel on everything bagel, and a cranberry sandwich (open faced serves with turkey) on a jalapeño cheese bagel. Everything was sooo good! Came in for a Yelp elite event but ended up getting extra Bc it was just too yum!! I got the open faced Classic Lox Bagel sandwich and ooooooo wow was it so so yummy!!! Everything is super fresh! This is your typical lox and bagel - but on overdrive!! Ample smoked salmon and cream cheese - but topped with fresh and crisp tomato, cucumber, sprouts and capers - excellent flavor balance and extra oomph!! Loved it on their everything bagel! Will definitely be getting this one again! We also sampled the jalapeño cheese bagel with plain and veggie cream cheese - omg hello??! And their caramel mocha yassss!! Super fantastic!! Wow! Blown away by how fresh and delicious these bagels are! I ordered some loose bagels (4 plain and 1 honey) with a medium tub of cream cheese and a lox bagel on the side. The cream cheese is too good - the texture is fluffy and spreadable. Very easy to over indulge on this. Service was great and fast because I pre-ordered the loose bagels and paid before pick up. TIP: loose bagels require a pre-order. Either call in or DM them on instagram to pre-order. I put in my order the night before at around 10:30PM and they got back to me very quickly. They take payment via venmo or zelle and you're good to go for pick up. I picked up the next morning at around 8AM and it was very easy. The store is located in a bigger plaza and location is really nice with lots of outdoor seating. I do recommend coming early because a line does form in the morning. Parking is easy and there is plenty of free parking spots in this plaza. Easily one of the best bagel spots in town! First timer with no regrets! I was really wanting an iced coffee the other day that wasn't going to make my pocket hurt. I wasn't in the mood to pay $6 for a coffee and end up being disappointed. I came across this place on Yelp and I decided to try it out. As soon as I ordered, the crowds came rolling in! I mean it got BUSY! This was around 10/11am. I ordered a blueberry bagel w/ cream cheese and a California club on a jalapeño cheese bagel. I also got a small iced coffee that did not hurt my pockets at all and I ended up finishing the whole thing! Wasn't too bitter at all. The blueberry bagel was flavorful and the cream cheese was plentiful! The California club was good as well. Best to eat same day rather than next day. My total came out to be around $15 and I had to wait about 10 minutes or less. Not sure who the cook was in the white chef coat but he was really running the show. Very close to my parents home in Walnut and very close to Mt. Sac, somehow I always pass in the afternoons when this place is usually closed. They close after 1:30pm. So glad they were open and had loose bagels at 11:30am on a Friday morning. They are still not allowing customers to come all the way in their store. One door to order, one door to pick up. It also would be nice if they switched the doors because you can't really see the bagels from the ordering area door. You have to look at a hand written board to see what's available and if it's your first time you kinda want to look at the bagels first to see if it's worth it. Trusted the other yelp reviewers to just try them out, so I ordered a cheese bagel and a cinnamon raisin bagel. These were the last of their kind for the day. So I guess if you want a better selection come earlier. They slice the bagels in half so you can share easily. I don't think there are any other strictly "bagel" shops nearby. For one of my cousin's gatherings, I was in charge of picking up bagels. I thought no problem since we have so many good bagel locations in our area--however, they all seem to be closed on Sunday. Luckily, I ended up yelping and it led me to Clearwater. Arriving at Clearwater, there is a nice big parking area and a couple of people outside waiting for their order. I arrived at 8:45 am and there were only limited bagels available. I was only able to pick six bagels since I didn't pre-order them. It was hard cause I was not able to see what was available and felt bad for always asking the lady behind the counter. They definitely need a better system for this. For anyone coming here, and wanting to order more than 6 bagels, please order by phoning or emailing them. Due to the increased cost of ingredients, they only take pre-orders for larger amounts. After explaining that all bagels are made fresh in the morning and they didn't want anything to go to waste, I understand. It's hard times. On to the bagel, I enjoyed my bagels. I like the texture and how bouncy they were. I also really like how they pack on the ingredients. If you were eating an everything bagel, you knew it was everything bagel. The lady that took the order was speaking as if she was in a hurry just because a couple people started to come and stand in line. It's like girl calm down, it's my first time. Y'all have so many options. We back and forth due to miscommunication but that could of been avoided if she wouldn't had freaked out, get help because if that's going to be the service once you see a line forming then you'll lose customers. I have been going here every Wednesday and Thursday with my boyfriend before school for a few weeks now and it is so good. Their cucumber avocado bagel is so delicious as well as their smoothies and hot drinks. I love the seating area that's outside, especially in the morning. Slightly crunchy on the outside, light and soft on the inside, never dense or chewy. Just love love love this place so much! I've been here twice and had 2 different experiences. What I found best is to come here early in the morning when they first open, so you have the freshest bagels! My first time coming here was a few hours after opening and the bagel sandwich I got seemed old, stale, and overall not very good. I'm glad I came here and gave it another try. I was searching for a bagel place and stumbled upon this mom and pop shop in walnut. As I arrived here, there were a few people ahead of me which is usually a good sign that the food is going to be great! I'll say that I could taste the blueberries on my wife's bagel and I loved the fact that they don't just put 1 jalapeños on the jalapeño bagel, they cover it in jalapeños which I cannot get over the fact that more places should be doing this too! Been coming to this spot for many years and through different owners. The. We couple had had it for a few years now and the quality is just as good as before. Awesome people and very kind.
