I had a great lunch at International Deli. This location is known for their man sandwich options and some salad options. The location has a typical set up of a quick service Deli. There's one register to order and the staff greets everyone as they walk in. There are many tables inside and a few patio seats outside. A good option if you have time to eat lunch and relax for a few moments. I ended up wanting to try the Grilled Chicken Breast Caesar Salad Wrap. The staff asked which wrap I would like and I went with the spinach. During lunch there was a small flow of customers. My order was ready fast. There had some hot sauces to use by the soda dispenser. This presentation looked amazing! I love Caesar salads and enjoying in a wrap form was new experience for me. Solid option in my opinion. Many textures going on with every bite. The sandwiches were much smaller than I anticipated, despite being told in advance that a regular is 6 in and a large is 8 in. I'd opt for the 8 in next time because the regular disappeared too quickly. I tried the Zylstra, which I didn't realize was someone's name until I looked at the paper menu and saw "Coach Zylstra" listed under the hot sandwiches. All the ingredients complemented each other well and the bread was very thin but crispy, so it didn't detract from the fillings. My boyfriend loved his pastrami sandwich and regretted getting the regular as well. It's a small family-owned business that seems to have regulars, which is very endearing, but most people take their orders to go. So I'm not so sure about this place. The sandwich was good. I only took a couple of bites and then I wanted to try the wrap as well, but the wrap was made wrong. I asked for lettuce and they didn't put any lettuce in it at all I only took a bite of that one. So I did notice the people performing did have squad bread. It was four people. I am highly allergic to Rye. One bite and it can close my airway. They said that nobody ordered the bread that day, but that's the people that were there before we were eating. I'm sure they clean up after themselves, but after eating a few bites and I'm talking less than half of the sandwich I was having a hard time breathing. I threw the rest of the sandwiches away just in case anything was on them. I had to go to quick care because I couldn't breathe and had to deal with anxiety as well but bread is traditionally made with rye, flour and wheat flour and then either honey or molasses and so on. So I'm not sure about this place especially when they're unsure about what's in their bread it can cause a life for death situation for certain people especially someone like me because I'm allergic to a lot of things and I made sure to tell them, but they said it wasn't in that and I know that's how you make squad bread. This is the only thing I ate today so I'm assuming it was from this but again I had high anxiety also because of this so it might've been from anxiety either way I won't eat here again just for safety reasons, but I did buy it from the French bread was good. Base price for a regular 6in is 8.99$ and then if you want to add their popular sqwaw bread you will add a but more. I got their turkey sandwich and it came with the regular lettuce and tomatoes. Admittedly, I always order the same one - the Avocado Melt.
