Love that this Jersey mikes opened here in walnut! It's super convenient for me & the fam! I usually order ahead & go pick up. Most the time it is ready sometimes I am waiting 5 mins or so! They have gotten my order wrong once, but they just opened so I'm sure they were overwhelmed. So not a huge deal , gotta give them a little grace from just opening. Friendly staff & good location doesn't get too busy in that area thankfully! Not like a ton of other locations where there practically a line out the door lol We usually get a chipotle Philly cheesesteak if we're feeling a hot sub & I'll get a club sub if I'm feeling a cold sub that day! I haven't been to many Jersey Mike's locations, and this was a first visit here. The staff were super friendly and got two of our three sandwich orders out quickly. Mine took a little longer than normal, and I'm not sure why, but they did apologize for the delay. I got a "giant" Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheesesteak ($20.95) and made it a combo (chips and drink) for $4.25 extra. The sandwich was packed with meat and fillings and was very tasty. There's limited indoor seating with additional community seating outside. However, the outside dining area was a mess during our visit, which I assume should be cleaned by the business centers cleaning crews, not the folks from Jersey Mike's. read more

I finally got to try the new location for Jersey Mike's. This has been my favorite sandwich chain for some time now so I was excited to see a new location being built even closer than the one I had been going to. Their sandwiches had always been excellent from my first experience with Jersey Mike's. Right away I knew this shop was in its opening weeks process. The lettuce looked to be browning in spots and I saw them manually take off bacon from a to-go bowl that wasn't supposed to have bacon rather than start over from scratch. I just hope that order wasn't of a persuasion that couldn't have meals prepared with pork in any capacity during the process because it was more than a little bacon mixed in it that had to be removed. My sandwich, as it was, was good. They over-grilled it a bit but nothing that was egregious enough to consider asking for a replacement. And, if anything, it was made into a bigger regular portion than usual. Otherwise, it tasted of the same stock and trade that Mike's has always prided itself on. My only other complaint was they wouldn't accommodate swapping out a cookie for the chips in the meal deal. That's fine, only the most customer-forward Jersey Mike's agree to that. But what I found annoying was they asked me three separate times that I wanted the sandwich, cookie, and drink to add chips. I told them twice that I wasn't interested in chips of any type no matter what discount it would provide for the meal. By the third time trying to upsell me I didn't bother responding because at that point that's just intimidation. Don't be accommodating for a substitution that other franchises honor, that's just you being sticklers for the rules. But what I find lowdown and dirty is to then upsell me on a product that I have zero interest like you are used car salesmen. That's just wrong. The space is nice, but I don't know how often I'll be back to this spot. The location in Pomona just has better customer service and feels more inviting. This one just feels like snake oil salesmen, even if their product is the same. read more

Came for the donation promotion. The place is full of people with donation cards. The line was long, but it moved quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient, not like a new store at all. We each tried a different sandwich. The #9, 26, 42 & 56 were all great! The store is small, but well organized. Would definitely come back again! read more

In there eating a few days ago and the girl with the glasses that works there walks up to the trashcan behind the counter and spits out a huge loogie! I nearly lost my appetite! Then she starts telling the guy making the sandwiches how theyre both going to close at 6:30 on NYE and that she refuses to take any orders after 6:00. My biggest complaint is if you give them your order and there's a line that forms after you they will make everyone's sandwich at the same time even though you gave them your order prior to anyone else walking in. They'll literally sit there and cut everyone's bread then step by step put everyone's meat in then move onto add the fixings to everyone's sandwich. So I don't get mine until everyone else's is finished. It's very inconvenient when you're in a rush. read more

The location is brand new, so it's definitely a bit busy right now...aside from the long line, all employees were friendly, even conversational. Good vibes all around in there. I ordered gluten free bread, and they asked me if it was an allergen or a preference (I'm Celiac's). They prepared my sandwich on a different counter to minimize cross-contamination. Sandwich was made exactly to order. Also, your map system might get the location wrong. Yelp's map is the only one I've seen so far that gets it right. Once opening day rush dies down a bit this is going to be a regular place for my lunch breaks. Good stuff! read more

Let me tell you... You have no idea how excited I was when I found out that they had a chicken salad sandwich. Of course I got it on the rosemary bread with all the toppings. The chicken salad literally has no taste lol very very bland. It's literally like you're just eating the rosemary bread and the toppings and that's it. That's all you taste. Not to mention. Looks nothing like the pictures so it's definitely false advertising. They are so damn stingy with the chicken salad. It's crazy so you're basically just eating bread and the tomatoes and onions and lettuce so if that's what you like go ahead and order the sandwich lol definitely disappointed. 5stars because the food was fresh and still tasted great so I don't want to ruin the rating BUT my order was not what I had asked for. First off I started by asking for rosemary parm bread with turkey no cheese. When it came time for my toppings I saw the cheese and kindly asked them to remove it, didn't notice the bread wasn't rosemary parm it was white due to it being upside down and didn't see them wrap it up as I was talking to my child, anyways it's minor but none the less not what I had ordered, was not busy when I came through so not sure why the confusion but I'm going to give grace and try again another day. read more

I truly have never had a bad jersey Mike's sandwich, the quality is always amazing. However, I truly couldn't eat this. The bread was rock solid. It even looks like they tried to cut off one of the parts that was extra extra hard. I was so happy to have a closer jersey Mike's, but I have no problem driving an extra couple miles for a better sandwich. read more
