    Loaded Tender Fries buffalo chicken
    Stephanie F.

I always come here whenever I feel like getting fried chicken. And I always get their loaded tender fries. It's very delicious, as I chose the buffalo sauce flavor, and the coleslaw that comes with it is even more delicious. The inside of the restaurant is modern, with posters, a few TVs to watch, and games in progress. The servers are always on top of keeping the inside clean. The food takes a while to cook, but that means it's very fresh. I hope they can get more workers to help speed things up, but other than that, I recommend it.

    Checking it out!
    Ron E.

We were teaching a group at a local high school and we were looking for some good food for dinner. We found this and it was rated really well online. It's a Mom pop shop with the family working every role in the restaurant. They had a bunch of to go orders lined up, and plenty of people in there. You can tell they were making each order fresh and to order. We all got different things from combination chicken rice bowls to the tender meals. The food took a while, but you can tell the girl working at the counter was doing her best given the amount of orders and the speed with which the food was coming out. My food was the last to come out, and it had been sitting on the counter for a while, and she forgot to bring it to the table. The tenders were a little soggy due to sitting in the box and steaming, but the overall flavor of the sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Definitely a place to give a second try.

    99 cent beers!

99 cent beer (most order food, 15 max per table, domestic only) is a steal for beer. Fried chicken Chicken was pretty good. Chicken tender was very juicy and huge. Friendly worker. Only complaint is that it was hot inside Goin to be part of our regular rotation

We come here often because the chicken is always delicious. The chicken tenders are juicy, the pieces are very large, and both the drumsticks and wings are always fresh and flavorful. It's one of our family's favorite chicken spots. Yesterday we ordered takeout while watching the World Cup. We ordered 5 drumsticks and 12 wings. When my teenage daughter picked up the order, the staff told her they were short 2 wings and would replace them with fries. When I heard that, I was a little disappointed. I appreciate the extra fries, but I wish they had replaced the missing wings with another piece of chicken instead. We ate all the chicken, but no one ate the fries, so they ended up going to waste. We'll definitely keep coming back because we really enjoy the food. I just hope that if you're ever short on a certain chicken piece in the future, you could substitute it with another piece of chicken instead of fries. Thank you!

Half half tender combo (10 pc)

My community service organization had one of our monthly meetings here on a Wednesday, so I got to try a couple of things by splitting with a friend. My waffle loving self can't pass up any waffle menu items, so getting Combo #6 with waffle and 2 drumsticks ($16.88) was a must! Got the drumsticks with original flavor and the combo also comes with cajun fries and a fountain drink. Waffle was crisp and the drumsticks were crisp and juicy. Their self serve fountain machine was Pepsi-based. I split the 10 piece legend tenders ($23.88) with friend. Got the half (5 pc) and half (5 pc) with mild and honey bee. Heads up that the honey bee flavor is a bit spicy so I ended up eating more of that as my friend found it too spicy for him. Great breading and flavor for both! Good amount of indoor seating. Our group took up two tables comfortably. Lots of parking in the plaza, so pretty easy to get a spot.

Combo number two with fire soy and a beer to boot

I'm always looking to support local businesses, and I've been wanting to try Legends Hot Chicken in Diamond Bar for a while -- finally stopped by and it did NOT disappoint. I ordered the #2 combo with the Fire Soy, and man... it was in every way possible. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that Fire Soy sauce brought the heat and the flavor. It wasn't just spicy -- it was actually delicious. The fries were fresh, the portions were solid, and everything came out hot. Huge bonus: you can get your combo with a beer! That definitely takes the whole experience up a notch and makes it a great spot to kick back, eat some amazing hot chicken, and relax. Friendly staff, great local vibe, and seriously good food. If you're in Diamond Bar and haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I had this location months ago and tried the Nashville combo #1 with the Sando. My impression was it was overall decent quality but slightly overpriced. I would have gave it a 3.5/5 on yelp if that was possible. This time around, I went with a group of 4 and we decided to order the Korean fried chicken side and tried the Family #1, which for $60.88 comes with Whole chicken (H/H), 5 pieces drumsticks (choose 1 flavor), spicy rice cake, French fries, 1 drink or 1 beer. We dined in and waited around 20-30 minutes total to get all our food, which also came with various sauces and radishes. The wait was worth as the food tasted made to order. All the chicken parts were hot, juicy, and delicious. The drumsticks in particular were massive and packed with umami. We got the hot soy, original crispy, and lemon pepper for our flavors. All 3 were great but lemon pepper stood out the most in my opinion. Additionally, the fries were well seasoned, fluffy, and has a nice crisp. The rice cakes were too soft for my preferences but still solid and had me sweating a little. The 1 drink we got was a single cup to share. It was a little silly to share among 4 people but doable. We came in hungry, and yet we left the restaurant with leftovers. The portion sizes were impressive, and in combination with the quality the price was more than justified. I'm bumping this location to a 5 star due to how impressed I was with the Korean side of the menu.

Combo #1 with Mac'n cheese on the side. The fried chicken and fries are superb! We didn't care for the Mac 'n cheese.

We walked into this place after 9pm and a lovely young lady greeted us with a big smile. Since it's our first time and there're many options to choose from even after you choose which combo, I was asked so many options and which I returned with even more. I'm impressed with how patient and courteous the girl was. In most circumstances, if it's my first time and I didn't know "how" to order, I'm usually met with micro aggression to openly annoyed expression. Not in this case--she's smiley and pleasant from start to end. We ordered Combo #1, spicy chicken Sando (3rd level from 5) and the combo with 5 wings. The chicken was super crispy outside and steamy hot and "juicy" inside. Their fries are also delicious. My husband said it's the best fried chicken and fries so far. We definitely will return next time we shop at H Mart in Diamond Bar. Last but not least, the portion is so big that we could eat it again as another meal.

Been here several times now and it happens to be our favorite Korean chicken place. First, let's start off with the wings and tenders. We've tried several flavors already, and one thing is for certain, the food is consistently flavorful and delicious. It comes out super hot, right out the fryer with a good crisp and juicy inside. The regular fries always have a nice crisp and the inside is nice and soft. No soggy looking fries here. Finally, their sweet potato fries are sooo good. Crispy, soft, with a hint of sweetness to hit the spot. You can't miss with any of their food. Service is quick and staff is friendly. Inside, there are about 10 tables with a TV which plays some pop videos. Overall good vibe, good service, and great food.

Kokio is back with a vengeance! I'm glad that they've decided to revert their course back to Fried Chicken (what they're really good at) from the temporary soup & pocha venture. Didn't expect much as I was one of the regulars who were disappointed towards the end of Kokio's journey, but the fried chicken from LH Chicken we recently had reminded us of the early days of Kokio with perfectly balanced taste, looks and portion. Hope they continue to keep it as such this time around!

Got food here with some friends. We loved the portions of food that they gave us. The food and variety is amazing. Place deserves more recognition!

So fresh and tasty as usual!! A must try!! We get it takeout and when we get home it's still so crispy and flavorful!!

We placed the order at the self-service kiosk. We considered ordering their fried chicken wings but they were all sold out, so we ordered their popcorn chicken ($7.50), chicken strips (6 pcs) for $7, and Garlic Parmesan Fries ($6.95) for dine-in. We picked White Garlic Alioli sauce for the popcorn chicken and Chicciety sauce for the Chicken Strips and Fries. It took a bit long for them to make our order even though we were the 2nd order in line. We waited about 15 minutes before we got our order. The portions were big. The Garlic Parmesan Fries were delicious and flavorful but you better chew gum after eating them because it has a strong garlic flavor. The Chicken strips were huge! They were big and long strips. The chicken meat was tender, but the crust outside was too crunchy and greasy. We like the Chicciety sauce though. The popcorn chicken was also cut into big pieces and the flavor was spicy. We would rather have the Taiwanese popcorn chicken than this one though. Overall, it was okay but we were not impressed either. We've had better Taiwanese and Korean Fried Chicken though. I hope they can improve the speed of the orders.

I ordered the original chicken sandwich ($8.45) and made it into a combo (+$6.00). There are 0 descriptions for the sandwich, but you do get your choice of breast or thigh meat and your level of spice. The enormous chicken patty comes sandwiched between two soft buns alongside some slaw and pickles. The chicken is delicious - the batter is light and crispy and the meat is so moist. The slaw is the perfect complement to the fried chicken patty. - It adds a cooling effect to the spiciness. I also shared an order of their chicken strips ($7). Wow, for $7, you get a really generous portion of chicken tenders (I counted 7 in my order). The chicken tenders are the same as the patty: good batter, tender meat. They're not as thick, but I'm okay with that. You also get your choice of a dipping sauce. I chose the Chicciety sauce which is a lot like the Chick-fil-A sauce. I also went ahead and ordered all of the sauces for an additional $.50 per sauce. Of these, the white garlic aioli and creamy cucumber wasabi were terrific. Everything else was pretty standard. Chicciety is worth checking out if you like chicken sandwiches. I'll be back to try their wings.

When I asked why a valid voucher was being refused, they could not provide any explanation beyond saying that the owner told them not to take them. Pretty crappy, and in all honesty, pretty low. The sense I got from the employees was that the owner didn't want to give out free food anymore, regardless of the vouchers existence. Pretty sad look for the company that there are owners under your franchise who are trying to stick it to educators who are serving the community, and actively telling their employees not to honor their vouchers and sponsorship.

The bowl is piled high with mapo tofu, braised pork, tomato scrambled eggs, cold seaweed salad, and broccoli, plus half a poached egg. I could easily eat this for two meals. The Three-Cup Chicken is fragrant with fresh perilla leaves, steaming hot when served--so tempting! The flavor is delicious and perfect with rice. The salt-and-pepper shrimp is incredibly flavorful; the crispy, tender shrimp coated in savory salt and chili flakes are so addictive you'll keep eating without stopping. The oyster omelet sauce suits my taste perfectly--sweet and sour with a hint of spice, really appetizing. The scallion oil noodles are absolutely mouthwatering. I love adding a bit more chili oil to enhance the aroma even more. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the staff are warm and friendly--overall, a great dining experience. The portions are generous and highly affordable, and they also offer catering services for meetings, including boxed lunches

On a hot summer day, this colorful rice bowl was exactly what I needed -- refreshing, flavorful, and only $9.90! I ordered the popcorn chicken rice, and the portion was huge -- the chicken was literally piled high and spilling over the edge. Perfect for sharing, and such a great deal. It also hit me that I'm basically eating the same meal served to athletes at the Olympics and Paralympics in China -- how cool is that? They also offer catering for office meals -- bento boxes at affordable prices with generous portions.
