She overheard that I don't eat pork for religious reasons and immediately offered to completely sanitize her station before preparing my sandwich. We placed a pickup order for two sandwiches: * The Turkey Club with extra provolone * The Bulgogi Beef Sandwich with jalapeños When I walked in, the ladies behind the counter greeted me right away and had my order ready to go. Fast, friendly service -- always appreciated when you're hungry and sitting through SoCal traffic. I also ordered a combo with a large drink and chips, and tried the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First thing I noticed: the place was spotless. Seriously clean and well kept, which honestly says a lot about a restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now the important part -- the sandwiches. As soon as I opened the Bulgogi Beef sandwich and pulled the pre-cut halves apart, the melted cheese stretched perfectly between both sides. At that point I already knew it was going to be good. And it absolutely was. The jalapeños added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor of the beef. The Turkey Club was equally satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. Even the pickles stood out -- crisp, flavorful, and surprisingly the perfect addition to each bite. And one more thing: the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea was really refreshing. Just a heads up, it's unsweetened, but after adding a packet of sugar it was perfect.
