My Lunch Spot is definitely a hidden gem to the city. I drive around this area often and I've always been curious about this Deli Shop. I have not been able to check them due to the hours, but recently I had time to stop in. They are located in a business park and parking is a bit limited in the front. You don't see much from the outside because of the tinted windows, but inside they are working efficiently. The staff greated me when I entered, by the vibe of the restaurant its a family owned business. The staff was welcoming throughout my entire time. I asked which hot sandwich was their most popular. The gentlemen said the Beef Bulgogi Sandwich. I opted for that one and the 6in option. You can choose your style of bread as well. The inside has plenty of seating and they will bring the sandwich out to you. I would say this sandwich was as advertised! It was tremendous! The sweet and savory flavors of bulgogi in between bread is a recipe for success! Flavor bombs in every bite! The staff even asked if I wanted jalapeños and of course I couldn't say no. It added perfect amount of heat and elevated the tastes of the sandwich. I would say My Lunch Spot definitely delivered for me on my first visit! If I'm in the area again before closing I would happily try more subs/sandwiches. They're a local favorite and I can see why. Thanks for the great lunch! ( ^_^)b

I have been passing by My Lunch Spot many times and was wondering what it was. Then I found out about this place by searching for sandwiches nearby. It's definitely a hidden gem. The place looks clean, and it has many tables inside. The lady was very friendly, and she greeted me when I walked in. I got their Tuna salad cold sandwich (Reg 6 inch $11.50, or Large 10 inch $14.95) with toasted sourdough and Clam Chowder (small size $4.95) with 3 crackers. All the ingredients were very fresh, and the tuna salad sandwich tasted great. My clam chowder was also very delicious.

Back for more! Still the freshest ingredients, tastiest flavors, biggest portions and best prices. Great "lunch spot" for healthy eating. Super friendly family owned business. They also have specialty korean type hot sandwiches like spicy pork or bulgogi :)

What a cute little place I've never tried! They got solid sandwiches, great squaw and just my kind of service and staff. I do wish I could stay here overnight at some point just for fun and not for creeps. The veggie sandwich was bomb, filled with all the right layers of fresh crisp greens and boiled egg with cheese. I can't wait to come back and try other vegetarian options!

Absolutely LOVE this place! The service is amazing, always busy but always pumping out orders quickly and accurately. The staff is so kind and the owner is just lovely! I'm a sucker for a good egg salad and there's is just as solid as it comes! HIGHLY recommend a visit if you're in the mood for a sandwich!

Another breakfast in the books. Everything bagel seasoning with an egg on top of avocado toast and a fresh tomato. So good!

This place is truly a hidden gem. The ambience of the location really brings a family home vibe as it is family owned. Always getting the most incredible and attentive service and let me tell you the food is always on point.

The Turkey Club

Wow -- My Lunch Spot did not disappoint. My partner and I travel from LA to Riverside pretty often to visit family, and we're always on the hunt for new food spots along the way. Traffic was brutal as usual, so we decided to stop earlier than planned and came across My Lunch Spot. After checking out their website and seeing the detailed sandwich photos, we were sold immediately. And what better time to write a quick review than when sitting in traffic. We placed a pickup order for two sandwiches: * The Turkey Club with extra provolone * The Bulgogi Beef Sandwich with jalapeños When I walked in, the ladies behind the counter greeted me right away and had my order ready to go. Fast, friendly service -- always appreciated when you're hungry and sitting through SoCal traffic. I also ordered a combo with a large drink and chips, and tried the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea. First thing I noticed: the place was spotless. Seriously clean and well kept, which honestly says a lot about a restaurant. Now the important part -- the sandwiches. As soon as I opened the Bulgogi Beef sandwich and pulled the pre-cut halves apart, the melted cheese stretched perfectly between both sides. At that point I already knew it was going to be good. And it absolutely was. The jalapeños added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor of the beef. The Turkey Club was equally satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. Even the pickles stood out -- crisp, flavorful, and surprisingly the perfect addition to each bite. And one more thing: the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea was really refreshing. Just a heads up, it's unsweetened, but after adding a packet of sugar it was perfect. Safe to say we found a new regular stop on our Riverside drives. Big thanks to the ladies working that afternoon. We'll definitely be back.

My Lunch Spot is delicious and spots like these are always a great reminder to choose local :) ! I thought that the prices were affordable and the ingredients seem fresh and handled with care. I got a breakfast burrito (last call 10:15am for breakfast) and it was stellar. I liked how the potatoes were both crispy, yet soft. Service was extremely sweet and friendly, the woman who helped me seemed so kind and her attitude alone is enough for me to return!

Service was FANTASTIC We got a beef-bulgogi sandwich that was perfection. And a turkey and cheese.. After our hike this hit the spot perfectly. A must try!

YUMMMMMY!!! Now this is what I call a real egg salad sandwich! I had the large egg salad sandwich hubby had the Italian and both were delicious

My husband and I were looking for a sandwich place for lunch. So glad we found this place on yelp! We split a chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread. It was delicious! I believe it was the owner who helped me, and she was so friendly and helpful. My sandwich was ready really fast. I ordered my sandwich to go, but there are plenty of tables and chairs if you want to eat there. We will definitely go back to try other items on their menu!

food: - ordered the soup of the day + italian cold cut sandwich (around ~$17 in total) to go - soup came out hot and warm and the sandwich tasted delicious as well - plenty of ingredients inside of the bread, worth its price service: - the lady who took my order was friendly and sweet and made sure i had a spoon + crackers for the soup in the bag before handing my order which i appreciated very much ambiance: - although there wasn't too many people at the time that i visited, the place felt comfortable and relaxed - definitely a hidden gem of a small business, would recommend anyone who's in the area in a mood for a good sandwich and some warm soup for breakfast/lunch :)

We ordered the honey cornbread, hanger steak, brisket pasta, and hojicha fig latte. The honey cornbread was good, but a little too sweet for my liking. The hanger steak came with chimichurri, fries, and eggs. The steak itself was okay, but the chimichurri definitely saved it and added a lot more flavor. The fries were a bit too salty for me and also felt slightly undercooked. The brisket pasta was delicious, but definitely on the heavier side. It was tomato-based, although I couldn't really taste much of the tomato because the spice from the chili took over most of the flavor. The hojicha fig latte was good and tasted like a pretty standard hojicha latte. I couldn't really taste the fig at all, although fig does have a much more delicate flavor profile. Service was alright. We tried to flag down the servers a few times, but most of them seemed to be hanging around by the DJ booth and weren't really paying attention to the dining area in general. Overall, the food was definitely unique and there were some things I enjoyed, but I'm not sure if I'd personally come back.

Hi Today July 3rd…read more2026 Friday, we experienced the most ridiculous customer service at your location City of Industry. My husband & I always go to this location, we are not a first timer but we always go there alot. You don't have cups for the water, the manager Lylet Granados offered us a small soup bowl. It is definitely insulting, we are not there to ask for free water, we ordered food, we would like to dine in and enjoy our Friday but you not having cups for the water is not the customer's fault. As a restaurant it is your job to make sure cups are available for customers. It would not be fair to buy a cup for the soda when we don't drink soda and we only drink water. Escalating the issue with the manager didn't help, she didn't offer anything to resolve but she keeps in insisting to offer the small soup bowl. I even asked if she can give us one cup, we just need a drinking cup not a soup bowl. But there's soda cups available. She didn't offer bottle water for purchase and we are willing to pay extra for water bottle. This is very degrading!!! Now, my question to the corporate office .. Is this how you treat your customer? To drink water from a small soup bowl like a dog when there's soda cups available?!!! Small soup bowl is different from drinking cups. You probably one of our favorite place to eat but customer service counts alot. What is the point of having a manager when she can't think out the box? She can't decide to do the right thing for the customer, no critical thinking in situations like this. She told us across the board all location you don't have cups for the water which is a lie because we called Brea location and they have cups for the water. Manager is Lylet Granados should be re trained or needs corrective action for insulting customer. Not sure why would she think it's OK to drink in a small soup bowl. She needs to know difference between bowl and cups. We are expecting a refund on this and we hope you refund us right away!!! We will never ever come back, definitely we will reach out to the Corporate Office!!

The atmosphere is clean, modern, and inviting--casual enough for lunch but also suitable for a nicer dinner. For this visit, I ordered the crispy pork belly appetizer and green curry with chicken. The crispy pork belly is a great way to start. Pork belly can easily become greasy, chewy, or dried out, so I always notice when a restaurant handles it well. This is definitely a dish I'd recommend: rich and indulgent, but more interesting than the usual spring rolls or wontons. For my entrée, I chose the green curry with chicken. It comes with bamboo shoots, bell pepper, green beans, carrots, and broccoli, giving the dish plenty of texture and helping balance the richness of the coconut-based curry. I ordered it mild, and the spice level was perfect for me--just enough heat to add flavor without overpowering the curry's other ingredients. The curry brings together richness, aromatics, sweetness, savory notes, and a gentle amount of heat without tasting generically spicy. It's substantial and comforting, and the sauce is perfect with rice. I also appreciate the variety on the menu. Along with familiar Thai staples, there are dishes like crispy pork belly, duck and pumpkin curries, papaya salad, crab fried rice, and other specialties that make the menu feel more ambitious. The restaurant itself is bright, nicely decorated, and comfortable. It feels lively rather than sterile, which I prefer, and its popularity suggests Diamond Bar has taken notice. Overall, Basil & Co strikes a nice balance between approachable Thai comfort food and a slightly more elevated dining experience. The flavors are bold, both dishes made a strong impression, and I already have several other menu items I want to try. I'd put the crispy pork belly on the must-try list, while the green curry is a satisfying choice if you want something rich, aromatic, and perfectly mild with just the right amount of heat. The service was definitely on point. The servers were attentive and very accommodating.

I was craving a wrap so why not come give em a try. The parking lot has plenty of spaces as it located on the long strip mall in this part of West Covina. The location is pretty chill and quiet outside of the TV playing soccer. The staff who took my order was friendly and allowed me to try sample some smoothies.
