When it comes to deciding if a Mediterranean restaurant is good or not, I focus on the meat and the rice. I was so surprised with the quality and the generous portions. For $23 total, I ordered a chicken kabob plate that came with 2 skewers (7 pieces of chicken), a bed of rice, salad, hummus, toum, and pita bread, The rice was perfectly cooked and flavored. The chicken was juicy and charred. Everything together, it made the perfect bite, especially with the toum. Now, I usually can't finish my meals, but I absolutely finished everything. The employee taking my order was also super welcoming, brought the food out to me, and checked in to see how everything was doing towards the end of my meal. When quality meets the maximum price threshold. This place is great. The food is delicious. But man, I hate having to treat it like a special occasion restaurant instead of somewhere I could grab lunch regularly. It's just too pricey, and that's going to keep me from coming back as often as I'd like. I have a great career, but I still can't justify spending $30 for lunch once or twice a week. What a little gem this spot is. Amazing delicious tender meats and beautiful presentation. I've been ordering from this place for a while through Uber Eats and DoorDash, and the food itself has always been pretty good. I used to ask for the rice to be replaced with fries and never had an issue. Later they started ignoring the request, so I called and was told to ask for the salad to be replaced with fries instead because replacing the rice would cost extra. I followed exactly what they told me, and it worked once. Then I ordered again two days later the same way and got no fries again. The apps don't give you an option to pay extra for the substitution, and I don't mind paying extra at all. They could at least call me, or better yet, add a fries substitution option to the menu so customers don't have to deal with this. What bothered me most was that after this happened for the last time and I called to explain the situation, the response was basically just it was "miscommunication," with no real accountability or attempt to resolve it. I've been a loyal customer and genuinely like the food, but the repeated order issues and how they handled them have really put me off from ordering here again. Update: This wasn't a delivery app miscommunication. I called you guys directly and was told they saw my request but didn't do it because fries cost extra. Cute "Kebob" sign and decor - very welcoming! I just had to try a new (ish) Mediterranean location! Even when I was ordering with the screen, the staff still told me to let them know if I had any questions, which was very nice of them. The falafel plate I ordered was amazing!! It came with pita bread, rice, hummus, and salad with a garlicky lemon dressing. It's very filling for one person, but I still couldn't help but finish the whole thing because it was such a comforting meal after a long week. The falafel was crispy on the outside and softer in the inside (and dare I say, probably the best falafel I've had in a while!). The salad was very refreshing and goes well with the rice and falafel. I ordered the mixed kebab plate ~$25 for 8 pieces of meat, which does not feel worth at all . Normally kebabs are large enough to fill the whole container horizontally but that was not the case here. Yelp brought us here, with their rave reviews. It's located in a strip mall with ample parking. We arrived in a Saturday afternoon and parked in front. Inside, the decor is clean, with modern wall panels and high ceilings. The ornate light fixtures remind me of a Moroccan restaurant I went to many years ago. To order, there's a huge menu board above the counter. There's also a kiosk off to the left. The menu is pretty extensive for a small place. For a first timer, we always like to sample, so we got the combo,'which is a 3 meat plate with rice, salad, pitas and hummus. The plate is a bit much for one person but not quite enough for 2, so we also tried a beef shawarma sandwich. The rice on the combo plate was fluffy and fragrant. The meats were great with a slight charred flavor, but the steak (filet?) was ironically a little tough and dry. The sandwich had fresh onions and tomatoes with tender beef. This can be ordered as a combo with fries and a drink, or a la carte. I hoped for the garlic paste to be more potent, but understand many people cannot handle it. The pitas were fresh and soft, great for wrapping the kebab proteins. Our interaction with I believe was the owner, was great. He was personable and it showed he really cared about the customer service and the overall location. The food was a 4.5, with slight room for improvement. The hummus is really good, it reminded me of my Lebanese friend who gives me a big bowl of hummus that she made with premium olive oil. It tasted like that, made with love and excellent ingredients. It was a late lunch and summer days so not a lot of people were eating but they have a prompt service and has smiles in their faces even though I know it's really hot back in the kitchen. Had this place several times now, and it's always lived up to the expectations. Great food, I've had several things from the Kebabs to the different appetizers and everything tastes fantastic. The atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place is top notch and the servers are very friendly and continuously check in on you. I remember when this spot was still under construction, so it genuinely surprised me when I swung by Wingstop and saw the doors open and the place buzzing. They're open until 8 pm for now. I wish the hours went a little later, and I'm hoping as business picks up they extend them. Even on a Thursday the dining room had great energy, which already says a lot for a new place. The room is thoughtfully done. Comfortable chairs, clean tables, and a look that reads restaurant first and fast casual second. Ordering off the kiosk was quick and modern. The receipt actually prints a table number, but there aren't number stands to place on the table after you order, so runners have to ask guests which meal is theirs. Out of curiosity I timed the wait. We sat for about fifteen minutes before checking in, gave my phone number, and two minutes later our food arrived. Under twenty minutes total on a busy night is perfectly reasonable for fresh cooking. I did see our sampler briefly presented toward another table before being redirected, which is an easy fix once they add table markers. We split the sampler because I wanted a little of everything. The freshness jumps out immediately. Tender, well-seasoned meats, fluffy rice, crisp salad, warm pita, and bright herbs with sauces that tasted made that day. My partner is Persian and this is his realm of food, so his take matters. He gave it a nine out of ten, with the only knock being price, which feels understandable in this economy and fair for the quality. We live five minutes away and I can already see this becoming a regular stop. There were no leftovers and that should tell you everything. Service deserves its own paragraph. I've been waiting for them to open their doors and they finally opened last Friday. The owners are very nice and welcoming. I went to pick up some items for dinner tonight. I walked in to find the cutest interior with cute lamps overhead. You can order at the kiosk or from the employee. They also sell baklava that they make in house. Yum. I really enjoyed the chicken kabobs, they were juicy and tender. The family said the beef was pretty good. Unfortunately the chicken shawarma meat was dry and kind of flavorless, and the side salads were obviously old, as the lettuce had the tell tale signs of red/browning at the edges. Falafel was good and came with a side of pickled veggies and tahini. I kind of wish they offered more sides options for the plates like the other local Mediterranean chain in the area. While their prices seem to be a bit higher than other similar restaurants, they do offer a couple lunch special options: bowl or chicken shawarma wrap.
