It's a restaurant that sells both Hawaiian and Indonesian food. I got their Kwetiau ($14.75, $1.50 for spam), Oxtail fried rice (nasi goreng buntut) $24.99, and Rendang ($16.99). The beef rendang was my favorite, tender and seasoned nicely with an egg on top. My brothers liked the nasi goreng and kwetiau was not too salty. The staff is nice and the place is clean with a good amount of seating. The parking lot can get packed.

Everything is sooo good! We got the fried chicken, mix vegetables with meatball, oxtail soup, indonesian meatballs soup. Chicken was super crispy, moist and savory! The people here are super kind. You can tell they put in a lot of effort in the food service. Would highly recommend Top 2 Restaurants!

Top2 Restaurant, located in West Covina, serves Indonesian and Hawaiian cuisine. I came here for lunch and ordered takeout over the phone. I had about six orders and all the orders were right! Super easy and all my friends really enjoyed what they had ordered! I had the fried chicken which was juicy and also crispy at the same time. It comes with this dark red sauce that you can dip it in. It is bold in flavor so just use a little bit to try it out. When it comes to eating Indonesian food, I rarely see restaurants that serve it and this one surprised me with how much variety was on the menu! So if you are looking for a blend of Indonesian and Hawaiian come on by and check this place out.

I just wosh theu have some merch. Located in the McDonalds plaza, next to a small Temple. Price, taste and portion size: amazing amazing amazing. Nasi Goremg pedes seperti nasi goreng jalan Lembang.

As an Indonesian, I'm always out for the next best local Indo spot, and astaga -- this place will do! Ever since my OG Merry's House of Chicken closed down, I've been on the lookout for any place that can rival the quality of Indonesian-style chicken that Merry lovingly put out. Happy to say Top2 arrived to do just that. I'm gonna be honest, I skipped all the Hawaiian options. I'm sure it's good but I came here for what I deem as my comfort food. Their ayam goreng (crispy fried chicken), slay. Their sop buntut (oxtail soup), slay. Their beef rendang, slay. Yeah ok, my wife wanted laksa and roti prata too. Slay. One thing you all need to understand -- getting the flavor AND texture on point... no easy feat. I've been to other Indonesian restaurants that simply don't hit the mark. The chicken, crispy and tender. The beef rendang, rich and fatty. Flavor, decadent. Was sous vide involved in making these?! Who the heck knows man, it is 10/10. If I could give any level of critique, I just wished the meal came out on actual plates and bowls that weren't all disposable. Kinda cheapens the experience a little bit, but does that warrant docking off a star? F nah, brah.. this place is legit. Brought me back to days of home cooked meals by my ma... got me eating with my hands and all. Merdeka. Atmosphere is dope, place is AC'd (important), and Chef Riko be that humble chef putting Indonesian cuisine on the map. Best of all man, this spot is local to me. Be back soon!

The spicy chicken mini dish here was good. I got some good heat with every bite, the quantity was enough for a mini, and the time to wait wasn't that long. I would definitely order it again, but not for around $15. That was probably a $12 plate at the most, but probably closer to $10. The space was also nice. It had a lot of tables for the space. The interior was super clean. But there were a few red flags that were kind of off-putting. One, the front door had to be unlocked at 5:20 despite supposedly opening for dinner back at 4:00. That lets me know there's not a huge clamor to eat there. Two, they play Christian music, which is their prerogative. But I tend to be uncomfortable when a place I choose to eat and relax in is blasting political and/or religious background television or music. When I go to eat I want to go somewhere neutral in atmosphere; I don't want to be bombarded with propaganda on all sides. The staff is nice and helpful, but even with that and the decent food. I don't think I'll be back here when other more comfortable Hawaiian food joints are in the area.

If you love crispy fried chicken Indonesian style and also enjoy their original store located in Pasadena near PCC then you'll definitely enjoy Top2. The owner was very nice and friendly. I ordered the four piece to go with a side of Roti and beef short ribs and macaroni. The macaroni was kind of sad in the taste department which needed more mayonnaise and seasoning. Everything else was good especially the fried chicken. She said this place has only been open under a year but I foresee it doing well like its sister store. They have quite a few seats for a small dinner party in the future. The parking lot is pretty big and they have other items in the menu to try next time around. Service was pretty good as I pre ordered before arriving.

The place was nice and modern, but the food is still the same top quality (pun intended) that they have in Pasadena. I was so happy to eat their food in a sit down setting fresh from the kitchen that I forgot to take a photo before digging in the owners are also very nice and welcoming, making the experience even better.

    Mini bbq chicken plate. 0/10

I was so excited when I saw that a new lunch spot has opened so close to work and such highly rated. I called to order a Mini BBQ Chicken Plate and 1 spam musubi. Total was $19.17. The lady on the phone was very nice and same when I went to pick up. My main issue was the food. I'm sorry but I gotta be honest. This is one of the worst Hawaiian bbq chicken plate I've ever had. Like even Ono Hawaiian is better. The rice was mushy. The chicken barely had any flavor. Even after I added the whole side of sauce on top. The sauce was also weird, it didn't taste like bbq or teriyaki. I can't pinpoint the exact flavor but it just wasn't really there... Worst of all was the Mac salad. Not only did it not taste like mac salad. There was no mayo taste or anything and left a very bad after taste in my mouth. As I'm typing this right now, there's still that awful aftertaste in my mouth. The Mac salad was just the weirdest tasting thing ever, it tasted very chemical. The musubi is a miss. Nothing special. Overall, I am sad to say that I prefer Ono Hawaiian over this.

Ayam goreng indo! I know when you see the name and the picture looks like regular chicken pepper, but when you eat it, it tastes so good! It makes you addicted and want to eat more and more, with rice or without rice! Even my toddler loves it! It's their new menu and thank you to the owner of Top 2 restaurant who told me to try it, because I always order their crispy fried chicken and nasi goreng maut! I have a new favorite menu now is ayam goreng Indo! Top 2 Restaurant is the best!!

When I lived in the SGV area, I used to visit their first location in Pasadena all the time. Our family favorites were always the crispy fried chicken and the oxtail soup--both absolutely delicious! After moving, it was too far of a drive, so we were ecstatic when we found out they were opening a new location close to our home. We finally went to try it out, and wow--the food, which was already great, somehow got even better! This new spot also offers dine-in with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, something the first location didn't have. The owner is, as always, super friendly and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for comfort food done right. It's definitely going to be one of our go-to spots!

Food always delicious. The noodle reminds me of authentic indo. The texture and sweet meat. So yummy especially in the rain

Yeah! Another new Indonesian Restaurant, dine in or take out, order and pay first at counter. Have cozy ambiance and food are great. Ayam Goreng (fried chicken) is delicious and bihun goreng yummy in my tummy. It's worthy to drive and definitely be back. Thank you so much for great service!

In the way of ambience, they have seating inside basic tables, chairs, and tables. TK Cafe has thoroughly impressed me off first impression, and if I was closer, I'd probably be a regular here. For how much we ordered, the food didn't take too long to come out and genuinely, was so good. We got a lot here, from the garlic shrimp to the popcorn chicken, and so much more. The popcorn chicken was, without a doubt, my favorite item. We originally came here because a friend said they had the best popcorn chicken, and I'd honestly agree. It was crispy but also still a bit juicy and I feel like most places go heavily into the crisp aspect and it ends up just seeming overcooked. But it was a 10/10 here. The proportions are huge, so it's easy to over order. The crab rangoons were good on the portions and crispness and not overly filled with cream cheese which is nice. The noodles were good, pretty average, same with the Mac salad. The garlic shrimp was a bit overly garlic-y, but it was still good. If you're looking for a new Hawaiian spot, definitely check out TK Cafe. The proportions are huge and the taste is amazing. If I'm ever in Monrovia again, I'd definitely be stopping by!

All the familiar Hawaiian items are here, and then some. They offer A LOT of different dishes, including a whole bunch of dim sum. And their beverage menu is extensive as well, from your basic teas to milk tea boba and slushies. It's pretty impressive how these folks are able to squeeze all this food in this tiny little restaurant. Decided to go with the dish that everyone who has been to Hawaii has eaten at some point: the loco moco. I thought it might be a good way to gauge how authentic their food is. Ordered a side of Portuguese sausage musubi as well. Yeah, I'm a pig. Loco Moco - 5/10: so yeah. This definitely isn't your traditional loco moco, or at least the dish that I grew up eating (808 born and raised). Two patties, mounds of rice, eggs (unfortunately served over hard...should always be over easy so the yolk comes out) side mac salad - check, check, check and check. But then they bury on the bottom of this dish a bunch of stir-fried veggies, which threw me off a bit. This dish ain't supposed to be somewhat healthy. And then they throw a very light brown sauce on it that definitely isn't gravy. More like a brown sauce you'd mix in with pan-fried noodles. Yeah, just not the way this dish is supposed to made. But at least they give you a lot of it! - Portuguese Spam Musubi - 7.5/10: this one was much better. All the elements were there, and yes, they used Portuguese sausages. Hard to screw up musubi, but believe me, it can be done. Two pieces come in an order and they're on the larger side. So yeah, a little disappointed. I will say though that if I'm in the area again, I might order some dim sum. Happy feasting!

I was bragging to my best friend about their food because we are foodie's and we love to eat. We were excited about what we were going to eat on Thursday, March 27 '26 and we had gotten there around 5:30. They close at 7 sp we had an hour and a half to eat. We ordered about 6 dishes --Pork Sinigang, Adobong Pusit, Bihon Guisado, Garlic Rice, Plain Rice, Crispy Pata , Ube Turon. When the orders came, the rice was so little, what they said was good for 2 people is actually only good for one. We asked for ice. They said they had none. not a big deal but honestly ice is a very important thing to have. There were no condiments on the table (patis , toyo, suka) etc which is common place in Filipino eateries. Around 6:30 we were being asked to finish our meal because they were "closing". Did they forget we ordered a bunch of stuff. If they are worried about their closing time, rhen please dont accept people an hour and a half before closing as you guys kmow Filipino food is not burgers and fries . You eat w little bit of everything slowly , its a cultural thing. We were again told two more times to hurry eating as they were closing. I was so shocked i coulf barely believe this kind of treatment. As a former caterer and hotel manager, we have never kicked anyone out of any establishment when they are still eating. You shut the door, you stop taking in customers but you always let the people still eating inside finish their meal, even if you had to stay behind for a bit. Another reason i took my best friend to dine rhere is because we were both so hungry and we dont do any cooking in our homes. My best friend paid for the meal --almost $150 , we decided against leaving a tip because the service was poor. The people working in the front had a less than acceptable demeanor, rushing us out of there we couldnt even finish eating. All in all, i felt embarassed in front of my best friend who treated me to the meal, when i had done nothing but brag about this place and their food non stop. I wpuld have loved to have had a conversation wirh Ms Nova Mendoza herself in person to compliment her on the amazing food but also to tell her that the staff needed further training im hospitality, customer care, and soft skills , it is their behavior and conduct which will bring this restaurant down. To make things worse, I waited 40min to be served COLD bangus sisig, I'm sure that's some sort of code violation. The server tried to say they just cooked it, like who are you even trying to convince that this cold fish is freshly made?! I was also told that they prioritize take out orders over dine in despite arriving at 11am when they opened, so keep that in mind if you want to try this place.
