While looking for something to eat for lunch. I wanted to have jimmy John's. I've been here before and tried their sandwiches and they were quite good, but trying this chicken gyro this time around. I would have to say, it was not good. No flavor, felt like they rushed putting this together and had A TON of lettuce which was overpowering and had to take some off. It's very hard to get it right as places usually fail because the lettuce rips apart or it lettuce is not big enough to contain the fillings. But jimmy John's got it down!! I ordered the chicken bacon sandwich which is supposed to come with: chicken, bacon, provolone, ranch, lettuce, onions and mayo. I customized the sandwich and removed the bacon since I don't eat pork, and added cucumbers. First bite into my sandwich and thought they gave me the wrong one so I opened it further to inspect and literally found 3 pieces of thumb sized chicken in the ENTIRE sandwich, a small piece of melted cheese, no onions, and no ranch. I almost LOL'd when I saw it, couldn't even be mad cause it was comical. Fool me once shame on you, cause you sure as hell won't fool me twice. Store has new ownership from a year ago. Their prices are pretty solid compared to Jersey Mikes. Closer to subway prices, but JMikes quality. Definitely becoming my lunch spot. Very clean restaurant compared to other places I have been. Manager told me toasted subs are coming in 2025 so looking forward to that. read more

I've seen on other reviews that this location is not known for its friendliness. I wouldn't say the workers are unfriendly but they are definitely very busy and just a bunch of young guys who want to get the job done. (Haven't seen any female workers the past 3 times I went). Two of the three times I've come here it was very busy and they HUSTLE. I am totally okay without having someone greet me and ask me how I'm doing if that means I can get my sandwich in 10 minutes or less when there are 10 people in front of me. COVID TAKE OUT REVIEW: Sadly all the locations near me closed so this is the closest one, but this is worth the drive and by far one of the better sandwich shops around here. Ordered online in their app and it was super easy and they even have a promo now of 20% off which is great because this is more money saved and less contact with people especially during these pandemic times. I ordered my fav Italian night club which I'll never get tired of. I just wish I ordered it with extra mayo because the mayo they use here is delicious, especially with their French bread. We came in and it was pretty busy. Before we walked in the next customer in front of us was up against the door. That's how busy they were. There was a lady worker. She's a regular. While the guy at the cashier was taking orders. The lady was already listening and working on the sandwich orders with the other employees. I don't really like to leave negative reviews, but I've been to this location quite a few times and unfortunately they have literally never gotten my order right. Usually I order some kind of up-charge (avocado, bacon, extra meat, extra cheese, etc.) and they have ALWAYS forgotten to add it. I'm usually running to go, so I don't realize until I'm home and I usually just eat the charge. After this happening 3 or 4 times, I finally called about the issue. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone was very kind, and said they could comp me a sub. I was supposed to give them my name the next time I came in, and they would be able to prepare it for me. When I went to redeem it, they said that they weren't able to comp me. Today I came in at 5 PM to order 5 giants (which I know is a pretty big order, but it doesn't seem SUPER unreasonable to feed our family of 6.) However, they said they weren't able to make it because they didn't have enough bread. I actually worked at a sub shop in the past, so I totally get it if you run out of bread at or near closing... but at 5 PM? Right at the beginning of the dinner rush? If you're in need of a quick bite, Jimmy John's will do the trick. There is nothing exceptional about their sandwiches as they are much like homemade sandwiches. So it's hard to justify the prices here for what you get. The last time I stopped by, I ordered the Turkey Tom sandwich and it was about $8 (without drink or chips.) However, I will say that it was a solid sandwich. I like that they include sprouts (optional), avocado, and use all-natural turkey breast. But again, for the price, I'd rather get something that I'm not able to easily make at home, so maybe I'll try a different sub next time. Just my honest opinion. Date of visit: October 30, 2016 For National Sandwich Day, might as well review the most recent sandwich place we visited over the weekend, which was Jimmy John's. While San Diego County doesn't have one yet, the Southland has a few - the most recent being the location near my girlfriend's place. We came in and placed our orders: the #5 Vito (Italian sub with Genoa salami, capicola, and provolone) for my girlfriend, and the #2 Big John (roast beef and cheese). Yes, these 8" subs come out fast, and the French bread that they come on was pretty good... but it feels like there's something lacking within the sandwiches. While the roast beef and the Italian meats in our sandwiches were on point, there just needed to be a little more oomph in terms of flavor (we didn't know that you could add on extra veggies and dressing - and given how we both felt like it didn't fill us up, that would've helped). Perhaps we should've ordered one of the Club sandwiches or even the J.J. Gargantuan instead... however, we did like the chips that we chose for our combo; at Jimmy John's, you can choose from either kettle chips, a cookie, or a dill pickle. My girlfriend and I also liked the motivational signs around the restaurant, as well as the classic oldies being aired over the inhouse speakers. And, no trip to Jimmy John's would be complete without going into the bathroom and checking out the descriptions of what type of bathroom user you are! Although, I noticed that my type was left out... The Librarian (what can I say - I like to read on the throne)! Overall, not TOO bad... but if Jimmy John's does decide to expand to San Diego County, they need something to stand out besides their speed of service and tasty French bread. read more

I love this Jimmy Johns!! I relocated jobs from Anaheim Hills to Diamond bar last year and was looking for a spot to have a good sandwich that's near my work. I happened to find Jimmy Johns and I'm so happy that I did! They don't have good sandwiches they have great ones! They also deliver to my work! Before the pandemic they knew me when I walked in, but things changed Jimmy Johns closed and I was super sad! I was beyond happy when they opened back up! I eat here at least once a week ( twice this week). I have been using the delivery service but today I had a free sandwich for my birthday and went inside. Tonight was my first time visiting a Jimmy John's, and I gotta say, it was a very good and positive experience. The two employees who were there were both very polite, professional, & friendly. I had got there just around closing time and they cheerfully took my request. During such trying times, it's very refreshing and encouraging when employees stay the course and keep a positive attitude. The food tasted fresh and delicious!!!
