Meaning I fed my youngest son and I for $10.79 plus tax...no small feat at the tail end of 2025 and prices escalating like a ticking time bomb. The food itself is serviceable. Fantastic service very clean affordable and conveniently located on the corner of Grand and Diamond Bar Boulevard. If you need to get some work done at Firestone Tires (across the street) it's an easy walk and a pleasant place to have lunch while you wait.. the food was plentiful and I had a really nice experience that was even an outside deck area. It had been a few years since I been to wava and was digging a Teriyaki chicken bowl, so I stopped by here, prices deff have gone up, but not too bad. Ordered the half chicken half beef with veggies, one for me and one for my brother with a small drink, as we were dinning in. Total was about $29. We dined in, location was clean, quiet and very nice ambient. We waited about 5 mins for our bowls. The portions were decent, could have had more rice and more veggies but the protein was good. 3/5 for potions but 5/5 for flavor. We didn't get full so we ordered the promotion they had on the window, 2 for $14. So in total we spent about $45 plus tax on 4 bowls of rice veggies and meat. Overall the food was good, service was good, price a bit high for the portion. Maybe a once a month thing for me. But overall a 4/5. read more

Very poor customer service. I picked up my food and when I got home it wasn't what I requested I called the store and spoke with. a guy first that didn't have good English he then put Angie on the phone who acknowledged that she messed up the order and told me to come back the next day at 5 PM and she would replace my order. I proceeded to call the next day to place the order so it will be ready. And was told they could give me 20% off my next order when I tried to discuss with them why wasn't the order being replaced like they had told me she only mentioned that she was new I asked for the Manager's name and she hung up the phone. This is very impressional and I will be reporting this restaurant Corp. I suggest you check your food or just not go to this location. read more

We love this franchise. The family meals hit the spot, especially the chicken and beef! We love the teriyaki waba sauce and the spicy waba hot sauce. The dumplings are satisfying too. The service is solid, and the place well kept and clean. We don't eat in the store often as we like it as our go-to take out option when we're in the area. read more

I repeated my order three times. No rice, sauce on the side and only veggies. He still gave me lots of sauce (too much) in my bowl. I told them that there are no more straws no more lids by the fountain drink machine and he pointed and said there's some by the register instead of saying OK no problem, I will fill it up. The trashcan is filthy. The counters are not wiped down. I will never come here again. The place is empty and there's four workers on this Monday shift at 4:20 PM. This local Waba Grill has not disappointed. We order from here often and the quality of the food and the service has been great. The food is always prepared well. We normally order the family meal, and I think this is a best bang for your buck for a group. The chicken and the beef go great with the waba sauce. You always get extra waba sauce, so we use it on other meals. Also love the garlic serrano sauce. They usually cost additional, but the staff usually give them to you if you ask. The menu has expanded to fish and vegetarian options too, and also sides like wontons compliment you meal. Highly recommend this place as a healthier fast food option. read more

I stopped by this Waba earlier today because it was nearby and ordered a Salmon plate with white rice and avocado and it was the best decision! How are the reviews for this place so low? I came in on a Friday afternoon and was assisted by Sydney. She is one of the best customer service people I have ever met in a fast food industry. She greets everyone with a smile and is very warm and welcoming. I made an error on my order (completely my fault) and only caught if after I had already paid. I went back to get it corrected and Sydney was super sweet about it. Then as I sat there waiting for my order I watched as Sydney interacted with other customers. She remained consistently kind and friendly to everyone she interacted with. The food is typical Waba quality so nothing crazy to add here. It was good and I didn't have to cook dinner so win win! I had a free entree offer on my Waba Rewards App. But instead of deducting the full $6.75 value your app advertises, it only deducted a partial amount of $6.21. I mean--it's not a huge deal. However, I already think your program is a bit on the stingy side by not just offering a free entree regardless of price.. To even penny pinch on the discount your rewards program is supposed to provide is just insulting. -- I have since been contacted by Waba Grill customer service with apologies but no real direction to resolve the issue. All they offered was to contact the feedback e-mail, which I previously had contacted with no response. Average tasting food which is to be expected. My biggest problem was with what you actually got for $10. Which is a bunch of rice, and very little chicken. Oh and some green onions. That's it. Not worth it. People complain about chipotle but as least you get more items for about the same price. read more

I purchased a family meal from our local Waba Grill for dinner tonight. The service was quick and good. Although I didn't get a chance to pre-order before heading down to the restaurant, the wait time from placing the order to pick up was no more than 10 minutes. There is always plenty of parking around the restaurant, which is greatly appreciated. I particularly enjoy the freshly steamed veggies that come with the combo. They are perfectly steamed, which means they are neither too soft nor too hard. The white rice that comes with the meal (two trays) is well cooked. I'm always surprised at how well they cook their white rice considering that it is a fast food restaurant. Both the beef and chicken are well marinated. Straight to the point...this is the most mediocre Waba Grill location I have seen. I've gone here a couple times. Both times the server was playing double duty and going back and forth between the cashier and semi-food prep. The food doesn't taste bad, but I'm pretty sure they short you on the protein. This location gives the least amount of protein for any location I've visited. Plus the brown rice is a tad undercooked. The few leaves of salad might have been the only thing with flavor. An absolute waste of my $12.91. I ended up leaving the food. I think Waba Grill needs to offer more.
