Solid location. The prices are relatively cheap and the portions are huge. The charge for a large versus a regular pho is only $1 and they are pretty quick about getting the food out. I'd say the only thing I don't like is how disorganized the wait list process is. You write down your name and the list itself isn't supervised or in a place where you sign then sit in an area separate from the list, so the waiting area becomes cluttered with guests and congested. Combine that with the flow of people entering and leaving and it's honestly a potential recipe for disaster. Otherwise, this is a nice place.

The pho was delicious and not overly seasoned. The Thai tea was well-made as well, not too sweet. Prices were not bad at all for the portions that you . This was the regular bowl. I really enjoyed it because I did not feel extremely heavy right after. This is definitely an authentic place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy quick service restaurant!

A great Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood. It is located inside a plaza so there are enough parking spaces. I've tried their pho, vermicelli, and spring roll and everything was tasty. Their pho broth is rich and it comes with a lot of meat which I enjoyed. I also recommend their thai iced tea! It is very authentic. In terms of service, it is decent. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a good pho in the neighborhood

Came in for a quick pho lunch. Prices are good. Their filet meat had no fat at all and it was so soft it was perfect for me. Great flavorful broth, I wish they had chili oil but the sriracha worked fine

The go to Pho spot in Diamond Bar. Every time I'm feeling like Pho this is the spot I go to. Service and food are always consistent. Servers are always very friendly. Whether it's pho or the rice dishes I've never had something I didn't enjoy. Pricing is fair and not an exorbitant amount. When I just want something quick if I'm a rush the Banh Mi's and some spring rolls are my go to. Can always call in and get to go as well. Very convenient spot and feels authentic like the childhood pho spots. The spot is always clean as well.

This place is so filthy it's scary. The personnel have no emotions, they act like zombies, you can't possible get a smile from them as they are tending to you.

This is a gem in Diamond Bar. It's a relatively small restaurant but the food is good and reasonably priced. One of the best deals in town. It is located in a large shopping plaza where Walmart is. There is plenty of parking. (1) Pho with rare steak, tendon and tripe: 5 stars for taste (2) pho with seafood: 4 stars for taste 5 stars for price 3 stars for service

Great food--truly delicious. Unfortunately, the service was not very friendly. The check was not provided at the table; instead, we were instructed to go to the cashier to receive and pay the bill.

Great place and very good prices! Good food and large servings Very polite and friendly staff. I like their Pad Thai and their veggie stir fry. Their Beef soup and tea are great! This is my go to place and close to get to.

Hello if anybody's thinking about going here for lunch today September 9th Tuesday it's closed the sign says it's closed due to maintenance whatever that means. I just thought I'd let you know so you wouldn't make the trip like several of us did up to the door to find out they're closed on this day.

This is my hundreth time coming here but I never happened to write a review. Hundreth time meaning the food was decently affordable, nothing too fancy. I like the flavor of this pad Thai dish and I also had the option of choosing and replacing different meats (switched shrimp for pork). The Banh mi was delish. Food did not take long to make, depending on how busy it is. I come here because the servers are responsive, food is served in a timely manner, and there are variety of options you can pick from the menu. P.S. hundredth time is an exaggeration but I come here from time to time.

I love finding hole in the wall gems, and this one is one of those. The owner as been here twenty years and I can see why they've been around so long. Negatives: -not much, maybe the wontons tasted like they were frozen. They were part of the app sampler, the other items were good. Positives: -value, the value was excellent. Pho was less than 12 dollars, the app sampler was 15, and my rice was 14. -taste, everything tasted good for the price. We will definitely be coming back to try some more pho and other viet dishes. -service was quick and friendly. Overall 5/5 We will definitely be coming back.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. I love the food! The salmon and fried rice used to be my favorite. Now, I get the beef stir fry with rice, it's about $14. The portion of the stir fry is a lot! I'n always full after eating at this restaurant. I feel full but not heavy full, the food is clean and light tasting. The service was amazing. I've known many of the same servers and owners through the years. The staff is friendly and welcoming!! Definitely a great place to come!

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. If you enjoy spicy beef noodle soup, this is a must-try! 5 out of 5!! "GO!!"

I've tried quite a few dishes here and honestly everything has been solid. I usually get the house beef noodle but this time I tried the braised pork noodle. The noodles had the perfect bouncy texture, the pork was super tender, and the bok choy added a nice crunch that helped balance the richness of the broth. My friend got the hot and sour chaoshou which was also really good. The dumpling skin was chewy and they were packed with filling. It's also nice that you can customize the oil level in your broth. We ordered the pig ears as an appetizer too. I loved the crunchy texture but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The initial taste was mostly chili oil and then the flavor kind of disappeared. They have a lot of other great appetizers on the menu so I'd probably skip this one next time. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with consistently good noodles Mian is definitely worth checking out!!

Their HK style food is authentic and delicious. We started with the hot and sour soup and it is literally the best version we have ever had. It had a bit of the Szechuan numbing spice and was a huge portion so we took half home. We also ordered their steamed rice rolls with shrimp and chive and you can tell it was made fresh by the wrinkles in the rice paper. The last item we ordered was their chinese sausage clay pot. It was exactly what we were craving. Crispy rice all along the edges with perfectly steamed rice, chinese broccoli and crispy chinese sausage. It was hard to choose because their menu was huge and we came late so we missed the pineapple buns but definitely need to try it next time. I also saw everyone ordering the lemon iced tea and realized it's because they do free refills! That's another need to try. I felt the value was really great and we definitely are coming back. Service was also great. The waiters quickly came over when you waved them down and they checked on you just the right amount of time. The decor inside is very cute and I love the retro style. Only complaint I would have is that we sat on the left side of the restaurant and there were quite a few mosquitos on the booth so we ended up sitting on one side.

It took about ten minutes for us to get a booth table, but we were waiting inside. The staff member called numbers firstly in Cantonese then in English. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.

I loved the various food statues located throughout the restaurant, they are so cute and make for great photo ops! My girlfriends and I got essentially the same breakfast combos with the exception of different porridge ingredients. I opted for breakfast combo #3, which included porridge, rice roll, and a drink (I got hot ying yang tea). Iced drinks are $1 extra. The food here is tasty and best of all is reasonably priced! I love that they have porridge toppings that you can put on. The roasted peanuts were so so good! If I could say anything negative about this place it would be their regular menu needs reformatting. Honestly their regular menu was really confusing to understand. I thought maybe it was just me, but my friend also expressed her frustration with trying to understand the menu. Luckily the employee came by and showed us the breakfast special menu, which was exactly what we were wanting to order and so much easier to understand.
