Was craving some Vietnamese food after work one day and came across this place! Their food is super fresh and the staff here is very welcoming! The appetizers are super delicious and their noodle dishes have pretty good flavors as well!

When I see a cute and/or interesting biz name, I can't help myself, but to check them out. Pho Bro got my attention. I'm not sure if "Bro" stands for brother or broth. I'll have to ask them the next time I return. It is located in the Canyon Point Marketplace in Rowland Heights. It was in the late afternoon. I walked in and there was one table occupied. It's a very spacious pho place. Very clean and comfortable. Long, the owner, was very humble and hospitable. I had a nice conversation with him while I was waiting for my order. Thank you Long. I got 3 items to-go... here's our take on them. 1. Pho Ga (Chicken) - OMG, chicken broth was the B*MB! Very light and not oily... just simple clean and flavorful broth. Lots of shredded chicken that wasn't dry... quite moist. Fresh onions and herbs. Tons and I mean tons of rice noodles. I'm getting this again! 2. Pho Tai (Rare Steak) with tendon - My daughter ate this. She said it was very very delicious. Broth was amazingly savory. Tons of rare steak slices. Tendon was good. Fresh veggies. Lots of rice noodles. Another must get! 3. Shrimp Egg Rolls - These were tasty. Shrimps were good size shrimps. Wonton skin was perfectly fried and crispy. Delish! I would get this again, too. Everything was fantastic! Broth was authentic and tasty. Flavor was on point. Taste was delicious. Portion was huge. Owner and service were top-notch. I am coming back for more pho-bro-liciousness. Stay true to your pho craft, Pho Bro!

Ehhh, just a-okay. I don't think I'd return. Their vermicelli bowl was subpar - the beef was fatty and grisly, vegetables didn't taste that fresh. The only upside was the probably frozen egg rolls.

Too bad we went on a Friday during lent and we couldn't eat pork/try their egg rolls! But we ordered Pho seafood and Pho vegetables. At first we thought there was a mix up with our order because they first served a large bowl with broth and some veggies in it and then served with a plate of leafy greens and then we asked about it, good thing our server was kind enough to teach us that the leafy greens goes with the broth and we mix it together and my order of Pho seafood is still being prepared. The taste of both pho is truly exceptional, will definitely come back and order the same one again or try a new one and by then I would be able to order their egg roll, hopefully! The Thai tea is very tasty too!!

They offer comforting ambiance with friendly service, and my son endulged on his "beefy" pho noodles and gave his thumbs up. We thoroughly enjoyed their pho with tasty beef broth on a rainy day and would recommend the experience.

Nice and chill spot to go for a lunch break. I've come here a few times and there staff here are really nice. Usually, just find an open seat when you walk in. The food is here is good I personally like the Vermicelli bowls when I would come eat for lunch. Food comes out pretty quick and usually it's not to busy so it's a good restaurant to come in and chill and have good bite of Vietnamese food.

Be wary!! Their bún vermicelli with grilled beef (B2) is a HOT dish, not a cold vermicelli dish. Also the beef is not technically "grilled" as you would expect it to be. More like stir fried. The vermicelli came out piping hot and was very soggy. Their pho broth is lacking depth of flavor and is extremely oily (see picture). Tastes nothing like a good pho broth you would expect, just get mouthful of oil with every bite. It was noticeably sweet too. Their beef balls however are pretty good. Cheap prices compared to other local pho places but I don't think it's worth it. Wouldn't come back.

    The special!

I love Vietnamese pho this place has a special that combines steak, brisket, Tribe, and meatballs on the same boat so I just had to try it out and it was incredibly delicious I always like to order extra peppers, fresh sliced jalapeño peppers mixed in with the bean sprouts this is a full meal!!! This whole area is full of great places to try but you can't beat the price here! The quality is also top notch so you won't need to worry about anything. The flavor is perfect and makes me crave this stuff 24/7! Stop by, the atmosphere is so relaxing and the food will top it off perfect!!!

I ordered a house special pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese hot coffee with condensed milk. I was expecting the pho comes out first as usually that's the case since the soup is ready made, pho noodle doesn't take long to cook. but the egg rolls actually came out first piping hot. I was also pleasantly surprised that I can taste some meat inside the egg rolls. Pho and coffee came about the same time. pho noodle was standard size with enough pho noodle (still too much for my taste). the beef slices do have some pink (raw) color when it was served. soup was flavorful enough. coffee was too sweet for my taste. I even asked for more coffee to dilute the sweetness but didn't help much. total bill was around $26+tips for 1 person.

Pho tai: 4/5 The pho broth is very light and flavorful. They give a good portion of noodles, meat, and broth. Very good food, but the prices here are astronomical…read more I ordered by phone because I was driving and didn't have the ability to do it online. I was shocked when I went in to pick up that my order (a grilled pork banh mi, an order of egg rolls, and an iced coffee) was freaking $32!! I didn't get an itemized receipt, so once I got back to my car, I went to their website to look up prices. 4 egg rolls are $12.50. That's $3 per egg roll! The sandwich is $11 and the coffee is $6. The kicker is that there's a combo--sandwich and coffee--for $15. They could've saved me some money, but they chose to not to in order to make a few extra bucks. Their prerogative, but in this economy, not cool to not help out. The result: a customer who's not coming back and who's posting about it to warn others. I normally don't do this because I'm aware that mom and pops are struggling. It's also possible that the menu prices on their website are out of date and they did give me the combo price, but THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS (!!) for a sandwich (great bread and tasty but sweet pork, a little underwhelming on the fillings overall), some egg rolls (with enough lettuce for each one, as well as sauce and do chua, but also a little underfilled), and a 16 oz cup of coffee with ice and condensed milk is pretty crazy. I can get the same meal nearby for at least $5 less or find other types of food that'll feed more people for the same price.

The inside has a few booth and table seatings. I would say no more than 15 tables total. Phở Tái Sách/ Pho w/ Rare Steak and Tripe (regular): The pho bowl came with a huge size portion of noodles, soup, rare steak and tripe. On top they garnished it with green onions, cilantro and thinly sliced white onions. The meat they used is very thinly sliced and tender. The tripe was also cooked well. If you have never had tripe before I would describe it as having a super mild taste and it's mostly there to adds texture. It tastes really great too because t soaks up the broth flavor. If you like chewy noodles or mushrooms with a bit of bite, you might like tripe. The pho noodles they used are the ones I love the most. It's a thin pho noodle and they cooked them perfectly. The broth is clear, has a good depth of flavor, not overly greasy and the salt amount they added is perfect. On the side they give you a plate of other garnishes, beansprouts, chili peppers, lime, and basil which you can add to your hearts content. Spring rolls: I loved these a lot. They were very fresh and stuffed. Inside the spring roll is shrimp, sliced pork, lettuce, basil, and vermicelli. This is served with a side of peanut sauce. Loved that the sauce had chunks of peanuts for crunch. Overall: All the staff are very friendly, and the pho tastes homemade and authentic. Definitely a solid go-to when you're craving something warm and comforting. I'm so glad I found this lovely gem! I can't wait to come back again. PSA - They offer vegan pho bowls and vegetarian spring rolls and egg rolls.
