Kids were asking for pho, and we stumbled upon this place. Had no idea there was a Pho Lovers here in RH in the old Hong Kong Plaza, and so glad we now know! Place was inviting and clean, and food was great! Try the Superbowl if you have a good appetite, and the beef back bone was so tasty. Will definitely be our new go to place for pho from now on. For MONTHS, my brother (who lives overseas & travels to eat), Hubs, parents, and even my aunt (who lives 20 miles away) have been raving about this place. They said it's even better than ***holic, who have been my go-to for the past 2 yrs. (Well, up until 2 weeks ago). I understand now having tried pho lovers myself. First off, I'd never expect to find any business in the old HK Plaza let alone one so hidden. What a gem it is. The staff were extremely welcoming upon entering. This place was spacious and clean. Pho was a perfect post concert weekend meal to soothe the throat and also on a rainy morning. The pho broth was clean and rich and didn't leave you grasping for water like other places. You got to choose from traditional pho skinny noodles to thick flat ones, which I chose the later. It was love at first bite. Generous portions of brisket that wasn't too fatty or too lean. I always have to try the sides and drinks so the Vietnamese egg rolls and spring rolls were a must. When I tell you I had the most scrunched us face like I was in pain, when I was actually shocked at how delicious and tasty the egg roll was, I mean it. Who knew an egg roll would be so life changing that I would definitely fly... drive 400 miles to eat this side dish again. I was enjoying every last bite wrapping my egg roll in lettuce so much that I forgot about my bowl of pho. The iced coffee was smooth and not bitter at all. I actually finished it by myself and it didn't leave me heart palpitations. What a pick me up that was. Spring rolls were nice and refreshing well balanced with house made dipping sauce. This is my second time visiting, and the quality remains consistent. The restaurant is very clean and bright. The service is incredibly attentive. The few long time pho places are in trouble.... The two around the corner of Fullerton and Gale and the one around the corner of Nogales and Gale.... This place has been opened for about seven months plus the new one in the mall on Colima and Azusa. The two of them have taken a good piece of the pho business. There are only so many Vietnamese, Chinese Vietnamese and pho eaters in this area. I would said may be only three pho places can survive in this area. Pho Lovers 4 looks like one of the three. Their broth is still full of MSG. They give a good amount of meats for what they charge. They use a different egg roll wrapper. It is crunchier and flakier. I am ok with their foods. My nephew loves this place because of their beef ribs. I actually like the owner of one of the three long time pho places, but they got too pricey. I hope that they are doing ok. There is also a very low cost pho places around the corner of Hacienda and Gale. However, they are in a different league. Their price point is lower as in life you get what you pay for. Pho Lovers 4 is located in a very empty shopping area in Rowland Heights. I got their new chicken pho and I thought it was just ok. I don't think it had a lot of flavor nor was the chicken tender and soft. The chicken pho was also just drumsticks on the side. My friends got regular pho bowls and they thought it was pretty alright. Maybe next time I'll try their beef pho! Service was great though and the inside is super clean and bright. read more

I visited here again and ordered the phở sườn bò (rice noodle soup with beef back ribs). Two large (but slightly fatty) beef back ribs came in a separate bowl with scissors and some broth. It was gladly easy to remove the meat from the bones. The pho had a slightly sweet flavor of broth, and it was steaming hot. While we didn't order the large portions, the phos we got were definitely filling. We also had pork and shrimp spring rolls, and they arrived at the same time as our phos. These were very refreshing. The food came out fast, so this restaurant is definitely good for a quick meal. Also, you'll need to go up to the front to pay for your meal as the servers don't walk the check to your table. The ambience is modern with large tables and comfortable chairs. There's a lot of seating as well, so I wouldn't expect a wait for this restaurant. The only challenge I recognize is the deteriorated parking lot for this plaza. read more

For me, the broth is how I judge pho places and Pho Lovers 4 uses a lot of spices that really comes through with so much flavor without even adding any condiments to it which is how I remember the first time I tried pho. When I have a craving for pho this is my go to spot. Even today as hot as it is outside this place hits the spot every time. The pho is consistently good and service is great as well. I came by myself and literally my food was out in less than 5 min. They give you all the veggies and a side of onions in vinegar upon request. I believe they're fairly new to this location, but it's clear they know what they're doing since they already have a few other locations (I'm assuming 3 based on their name? Lol) The restaurant is tucked away in a somewhat unusual shopping complex that seems like it's still waiting for more businesses to move in, but don't let that fool you. The space is beautiful inside--clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The large Xe Lửa pho bowl is massive and easily big enough for two people to share. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the quality of the ingredients really stands out. We also ordered the egg rolls, which were super crispy and packed with flavor. Well Dayum, that was one of the best pho ive ever had. I chose the filet mignon pho from the extensive choices of pho combinations they offer. I've been a regular at Pho Lovers 3 for a long time, so I was really happy to see them open a 4th location closer to home. It's nice being able to enjoy one of my favorite pho spots without the usual long drive. The food and service were both excellent. The vermicelli with lemongrass beef and egg rolls was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Their pho was just as good as always, especially the broth at this location. It has a cleaner, lighter flavor compared to the richer and heavier broth at the other locations, which I personally prefer. One of my pickleball buddies and I decides to try one of newest pho restaurants in town. Pho Lovers is the fourth chain store located at Rowland Heights. The restaurant is really spacious, traditional and cafe style decor with flat screen on the wall. Service is friendly and attentive. It wasn't too busy on a weekday lunch. So I order #13 pho tai lan which is more of fusion pho, they stir fried the meat first and not raw. The soup base is thicker, stronger, and more savory. The flat noodles we choose is really good too. While taking my order, they asked me a question I only hear in the OC Vietnamese area. They asked me if I wanted my noodles uncooked. I don't know if it gets any more legit. Speaking of noodles, the guy taking my order asked me if I wanted the regular pho noodles or the flat noodles. You do get to choose. The cha gio and pho were very good. The pho had everything in it with all plenty of meat. The large sized pho came with plenty of noodles to share since we also ordered an appetizer. It was plenty of food for my wife and I to share. Since they just opened about a month ago, I'm not sure if they will offer other dishes besides Pho. Restaurant looks pretty nice and clean inside. It is located inside the little strip mall. Ordered the #21 Pho Tai Duoi Bo, which is Pho with rare beef and oxtail. Also got the Shrimp Spring Rolls and the Peach Tea. The Pho was so good. The broth was perfect. The Oxtail meat was soft and easily falls off the bones. The Shrimp Spring Rolls and the Peach Tea were good as well. The staffs were quite welcoming and friendly. Winter was a great, friendly host who recommended the #19 for something hearty and garlicy. Also...Yelpers get a free Thai iced tea for a review! I chose green. They also are very open to feedback, it seems, since I asked if they had a member/point system, and they said it was a good idea which they will mention to the owner. Winter was really sweet, coming to the area I was waiting to hand me my drink and order when it was ready in around 10 mins (two small, yet generously-sized bowls of #17 & #19). She even held the door open for me so I didn't have to juggle my prizes! Their bathroom is clean and cute! Now onto the good stuff: Winter recc'd the #19 because the filet is sauteed in garlic. I agree that the garlic flavor is a nice touch which doesn't overpower the rest of the dish. Fantastic! The greens are all fresh & flavorful, the thin noodles we chose a perfect chew, and the #17's large beef ribs a literal fall-off-the bone tenderness. And the star: the broth. I've dined at Pho Lover's in little Saigon, so I was thrilled they had their soft opening here in Rowland Heights about two weeks ago. Located inside the Hong Kong shopping plaza, the newly remodeled eatery is Asian themed with several flat screens depicting scenes and cooking in Vietnam. This is their fourth eatery, and the owners here know how to make an authentic bowl of pho. I ordered a large combo bowl with a request of the fresh flat noodles and my bean sprouts heated. All the fresh veggies are plated on a plate and bought to your table. The pho had generous amounts of various proteins and tasted excellent I love the fact that this is closer to my residence verses trekking to the OC (Little Saigon) for authentic Vietnamese entrees. The manager Kelvin was friendly and is new to Pho Lovers, but speaks English, Vietnamese, and some Chinese which is a big ratio of the residents in this area. For their soft opening they are giving a complimentary beverage with your purchase. The menu is currently limited but will expand once they grow this location, I'm looking forward to returning here soon and trying some of their other entrees. read more

The store is inside the mall plaza. Edward was super friendly and helpful. I came here and placed an order to go for lunch. Saw this place pop up on my feed as new. They have a great selection of items to pick from. See my photos for the menu. Parking can be difficult especially on the weekends so plan ahead. For the appetizer I opted for the Vietnamese eggrolls and for the entree I went with the brisket and flat noodles. All very tasty. Broth was a little salty but the meat was tender and of good quality. They have a promotion with a free drink with your order so I got the Thai iced tea.
