    Sautéed String Beans
    Jackie Y.

really enjoyed this spot for a quick bite! Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. String beans were a bit on the salty side but other than that, everything tasted great. Parking is easy in the parking lot, It's a small restaurant with a few seats so it can fill up fast. Would love to come back to try some different items.

First time coming here, which was near closing time, and my friend was craving soup, which they had. I, on the other hand, was down for whatever and wanted to try the mapo tofu, which I had never had before but had heard good things about, as well as the scallion pancake. Although most of the food seemed to be missing flavor or seasoning, it was good, but it didn't get there. It just felt as if something was missing to give it that last push. Other than that, the server was very friendly, kind, and attentive to us. Keeping the inside clean and keeping an eye on other guests in the restaurant.

We ate the juicy pork dumplings so fast that I didn't even take a picture! They were delicious! Every item we ordered was amazing. We ordered pickup and it was ready really fast. The staff were very efficient upon arrival and had our food packaged and ready for an easy pickup. I can't wait to come back!

Been a long time customer, returning more often recently due to the new variety in thier menu. Overall they have up thier game with thier staple dumplings, the dumplings are more flavorful and the portion sizes remain fair for the cost. The noodle dishes have improved in flavor. They now have basic Chinese American dishes like Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. Now this place is great for old style Chinese American flavors and a more traditional Chinese Noodle shop and dumplings. Definitely check it out.

Nice to know there is a Dumplings restaurant in Diamond Bar. Plenty of parking here. Which is great. This restaurant is kind of small, only a few tables. We came here late for dinner, so we were the only one there. While we were dinning, we saw a couple of people came in to pick up their to-go orders. We ordered the followings: - Chicken Dumplings - Fried Chicken Wings (BBQ) - Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - Yangzhou Fried Rice - Stir-Fried Beef with Green Onion - Steam Rice Foods came out quickly. Chicken Dumplings was good. Fried Chicken Wings was nice and slightly sweet. The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was on point. The broth was tasty, not too spicy. Beef was tender, veggies was delightful. Yangzhou Fried Rice was lightly flavored. Not too bland. Still tasted pretty good. The Stir-Fried Beef goes well with the Steam Rice. Perfect pairing I say. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. I would have given them 5 stars if they have a restroom here. It is odd to have a sit down restaurant and not have a restroom. If it was a to-go only restaurant, I would understand, but no restroom? I did see a sink in the dining area, but I think it was for the staffs only.

This spot is a hidden gem for handmade dumplings perfectly chewy, juicy, and clearly made with care. The fried noodles were the real surprise: packed with flavor and honestly even better than Din Tai Fung's (and at about 30% less!). Definitely my new go-to for dumplings and noodles. Service was great. Inside was small but very clean. Food came out hot and timely.

A small little place serving authentic Chinese dishes. It is located in a plaza with ample parking spaces. There are approximately 6-7 tables and 1 person managing tables and to-go orders. There was a constant stream of phone orders, but she was still attentive to us at the tables. Everything was delicious. It was my daughter's first time, and she's already asking when we can return. If you want good, simple, & authentic Chinese food without the frills and Instagrammable pics, this is the place for you!

Amazing food and service. Small restaurant with approximately 6-7 tables and 1 person managing to go orders and tables. Great for kids, but not large groups. We came at 6pm on a Saturday night and there was a constant stream of phone orders and I can understand why after eating here. Everything was so good. My kids wanted the beef noodle soup, but spicy was the only option. The kind wait staff said they could swap out the broth with non spicy chicken broth. It turned out better than I imagined. The chicken broth was savory and the beef slices were very tender. We loved everything else we ordered that included the pan fried chicken dumplings, cold shredded potato salad, eggplant, spicy wontons, pancake, kung pao chicken, and green beans. The service was amazing. The wait staff was very attentive and brought out scissors for us to cut my kids noodles. Would definitely recommend to all.

More like 3.6473 stars. Major Dumplings occupies the loneliest corner of this plaza. In fact, it occupies the former Pizza Hut (RIP) space. Unless you seek it out, you wouldn't know it's there. My mom, sister, and I recently lunched here. We shared the following: -cucumber salad ($4.50) -lao gan ma fried noodle with prime beef ($13.50) -pork potstickers ($10.50 for 8 pcs) -wonton in spicy sauce ($10.50 for 8 pcs) Our server recommended the lao gan fried noodles and that coincidentally was the tastiest thing we tried. The noodles are tossed with your choice of protein, cabbage, and julienned carrots. The noodles weren't overly dressed or seasoned but they did have a very nice wok taste to them. The dumpling situation was very mid considering its namesake. While the potstickers and wontons are generously sized, the filling lacked flavor. What you end up with is a very large, yet bland, dumpling. Also note that wonton in spicy sauce here is very different than spicy wontons elsewhere. These wontons were swimming in a pool of Szechuan sauce hence "wonton in spicy sauce." I'll have to try their soup dumplings next time. The Major Dumplings is a nice addition to the Diamond Bar dining scene. I'll be back to try other food items from their expansive menu.

Now that I've been coming here over a dozen times, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite little spots. Excellent service by the same woman who works here every time I've been. Food is seasoned well and delivered hot. Ambiance is open, cool (temp) and clean. Great Taiwanese options!

    Mapo Tofu

This place is right up the street from where I am and when I'm up at night and can't sleep, I browse their menu and salivate while flirting with Ubereats. But I was never brave enough to proceed with order. Just the forever 'add to cart' winks. But I'm hungry today and I've no access to my kitchen. Finally came in and got a few things, even had two soup dumplings just cause! I'd been missing meat in this vegetarian diet, but the two dumplings were.. really not worth breaking the lifestyle for. It's no Ding Tai Fung and there's no vegetarian ones. The cucumber salad was a little too sour and not enough cilantro. Or any cilantro. Or garlic. But nice as pickles. But the Mapo tofu was the most disappointing.. i used to love this dish and would only eat this back when even black pepper was considered 'too spicy' for me. Mapo tofu with rice is the best. But their version was just mild tofu in thickened sauce. No fermented beans or spiciness. Very little flavor and did not make me want more rice. The scallion pancakes were ok. Greasy but ok. Not super flaky but fine. Perhaps the best thing was their iced green tea. Because there's no hot tea. At a place with Chinese on the menu.

    Eddie C.

Food: Cucumber Salad had the vinegar taste with the crispiness; Beef Roll was tasty and included 2 large rolls; Braised Eggplant with Garlic Sauce had a great balance of flavor not being too garlicy; Pork Potstickers were more on the soft side and not crispy; Dan Dan Noodles were tasty, but not spicy at all; Kung Pao Chicken was not spicy either Service: very friendly & helpful waitstaff and everything is made-to-order fresh Design: interiors is clean, relatively new and has about (6) 4-seat tables Overall: if you want a good variety of Chinese food with dumplings, noodles, and the classics with friendly service, then check out this place in Diamond Bar

I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm, and my first impressions walking in was the interior is clean and pleasantly warm. I ordered the creamy mala seafood pasta since it was the most unique dish on the menu. Service was good but nothing special. Creamy mala seafood pasta, 2.5/5: The pasta was inoffensively average. There were some bites that were creamy and some bites that weren't. I honestly thought it could use more cream or butter to add some more richness. The pasta itself was al dente. There wasn't much flavor overall with the dish, and the mala was very mild (for reference, I can handle medium spice levels at other restaurants). The seafood quality was okay for the price. Overall, I thought the ambiance was really nice, but the pasta I ordered was average at best. Maybe I will give this place a 2nd chance and try something else.

Owners are so nice and cool, one is the chef and the other is a pastry chef. Atmosphere and vibes were nice in a Saturday evening, but food could be a bit better. For being in a food hall in Glendora, this was a pretty good bowl of bbh. - it has rich umami broth though it could have stood for more vermicelli noodles. I was most surprised by the amount of beef tendon. In fact, I asked for a side of fish sauce to dip the tendon lol. On my second visit, I built my own phở bowl ($17.48). You get a choice of 3 meats, so I chose wagyu steak, wagyu eye round, and brisket. I thought the meat quality was great. The broth, on the other hand, was having an off night I think. It had a very strong star anise flavor and the broth could have use a little skimming. And Broth offers a variety of interesting phở variations that I'd like to try. I like that there are so many different Vietnamese dishes umbrella-ed under one establishment. I'll definitely be back.

I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side.
