My husband and I visited this place today for the very first time. We've lived in the area only a few months and were out running errands when this place caught our eye. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and welcomed by the owner himself. He was thorough about the menu and our options. We went with the "Godfather" on an Everything Bagel. Little did I know that pastrami was going to be such a perfectly balanced pair to this bagel. It had pastrami, lettuce, onions and cheese. Every bite was delicious! The owner knowing we were first timers sent us home with a cinnamon bagel and some house made strawberry cream cheese just on the house. This place has very much won us over and we plan on visiting time and time again. For the food, for the service, for the beautifully lit and calm atmosphere and much more. Thank you for such a wonderful visit

Family owned business. Came on a Wednesday at 1230pm and ordered an open face lox bagel ($14) on jalapeño cheddar ($1) extra. Order came out in less than 10 min & only one person working. They give generous amount of ingredients and it tasted fresh. There were very few bagel options when I was there so make sure to come earlier. It's my third time coming here and the customer service is always good.

So nice I had to get it twice!! Yesterday I tried this place out for the first time and had such a great experience, I went back today to get pretty much the same thing. The lox open faced bagel is perfectly proportioned with fresh ingredients... not to forget the amazing bagel underneath too! :-) Vanilla latte was a bit sweet but very good still, no burnt coffee taste. Will definitely be back to try more of their huge menu! Other pluses: - everyone working there was so friendly and helpful, thank you! - plenty of parking in a large plaza - peaceful covered patio with a great view of the trees and hills

Best jalapeño cheese bagel ever. Friendly staff and nice indoor and outdoor seating. Many drink options.

Been coming here since 2016, and let me tell you, this is the best mom-and-pop bagel shop. They have plenty of bagel selections. The menu consists of closed-bagel and open-face-bagel options, however you want them. The drinks are great too, and I personally get the vanilla chai blended. As you can see in the picture, we got an egg and cheese bagel with jalapeño and cheese. The second bagel is avocado cream cheese with jalapeño and cheese. If people are complaining about there not being enough bagels when they arrive close to closing time, you can't blame the store they are poppin and those bagels sell out quick! Better get there when they open because that's when you can taste the fresh out of the oven bagels! Oh yeah all there bagels are home made with love put in them

Love this bagel shop! It's small, but mighty. The staff are always friendly, the service is quick, and it's just cute all around. I've had their onion bagel, garlic bagel and their rosemary olive oil bagel so far, always with a plain cream cheese and it never disappoints. I recommend!

Egg white sandwich on a honey bagel and egg cheese and sausage w jalapeno cheese bagel

I have been coming here since highschool and I truly adore this place till now. We got the egg white sandwich with the honey bagel and one egg cheese and sausage on a jalapeno bagel and it was delicious, keep doing what you're doing guys and the service is amazing. They also offer outside seating as well that is shaded so it's perfect.

The best place to get your bagels! less than 5min away from mt.sac. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I got a chicken club bagel (forgot to take a picture xD) and an avocado bagel with cream cheese and lox. They provide quality recommendation on which bagels go well with each ingredients. My first time here the owner had also given me a complementary ice coffee! Overall, a wonderful experience coming here for breakfast! I recommend the garlic bagel and the ice hazelnut coffee!

Nice quaint spot near MtSac. Got me the Godfather which is pastrami and provolone. Looks small but OMFG this thing is packed with flavor. Can't speak to the service though for my wife ordered while I ran an errand next door. Priced right, good oj, chill vibe on a Sunday morning. If you dont want to drive to Beverly Hills for their pastrami bagel and spend 70 bucks come here instead. Easier on the wallet and you taste buds will thank you.

So good per usual! The staff are so helpful and the indoor/outdoor seating is a great place to chill while eating! Love the bagels here & they will always be my go to!

** ONE STAR FOR MY EXPERIENCE NOT THEIR BAGELS!!! ** So I used to come to Clearwater for bagels when I lived closer. The bagels were amazing and there were always a ton of people in line for them. Today I decided to drive out to pick up a dozen for family. I tried calling the day before to see if they do pre-orders because I needed them early Saturday morning but no one picked up. So I get here today, Saturday morning, almost 39 minutes early. I wait and they don't open until about 8:10. While waiting I notice signs everywhere stating that they don't sell loose/bagels, which I'm totally confused by. When I finally get inside I'm told that the only way I can buy more than one bagel is if I purchase a $5 side of cream cheese FOR EACH BAGEL. I was so dumbfounded by this, I asked, "So if I buy 6 bagels I need to buy each one it's own cream cheese for $5- which would be $30 just for the cream cheese?" And the cashier confirmed that was correct. A dozen is $21, so if I didn't pre-order it world be $81 for a dozen bagels and a dozen individual cream cheeses that I'm required to purchase Nevada I didn't pre-order. I understand that they do this so they apparently don't sell out early, but making people pay $5 for cream cheese for each bagel? Really, really disappointed- especially as a customer who used to love them and honestly did not know about this policy before I woke up almost two hours early and drive over to Walnut to get here before they opened.

Ask the Community - Clearwater Bagel

Please I love you guys but when do you actually open you have so many conflicting times?

Hi Aaron! We’re open Wednesday through Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. 😊

Are you open on Mother's Day 5/14?

Is this business still open? I keep on getting a recording asking to enter my phone number.

They are open I was there last week their phone line was down at the time they always post live updates on their instagram I think that's the best to get a hold of them at the moment

Do they sell the bagel sandwiches in the morning when it opens or is it just breakfast bagels?

They have a good selection of bagel sandwiches eg. blt, vegan bagel, lox and bagel , Chicken salad tuna salad sandwiches and my favorite is the Korean bulgogi beef , as far as I know breakfast is serve all day

Do they do phone orders so you don't have to wait?

I just called them before I go in that way the lady will tell me which bagel they still have left and the waiting part it depends on how busy they are because they are only letting one customer to go tin at a time so hope that answer your questions

Are any of their bagels vegan friendly? I used to love coming here around my high school/SAC days.

Yes they have veggie and vegan sandwiches and if I'm not mistaken all of their bagel is vegan expect for the egg bagel

Do they take apple pay android pay?

If you meant apple pay they do, but not sure abt android pay

Do you sell cream cheese in large tubs?

Yes they do

How many have you ever tried Clearwater bagels? Do you agree with me it's awesome?

Hands down !!!!!

The restaurant is in an unusual space, for sure. There are a few automotive shops and you might not be sure you are in the right place, but the signage for the restaurant is bright and inviting. There is not a lot of parking right in front of the door but there is plenty in a strip off to the right. We got there around 11:30am and there were several people enjoying their meals. The service was pleasant and very quick. They took good care of us. There is a great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Everything is available for as long as they are open (2:30pm). I ordered the breakfast croissant. The eggs were delicious. I enjoyed the hot sandwich. The turkey slices were cold and it was still very good. I would not want them cooked, but maybe put on the grill a tiny bit to take the chill off. I will probably order that every time. Loved it. The fruit was very fresh and ripe with a nice selection of pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe and honeydew. The other orders of breakfast items, sandwich and fries were spot on. We all enjoyed this place for what we were looking for. The owners have done well with this small space. The only thing that seemed a little odd, other than the location, is that the bathroom opens into the dining space. That didn't seem well thought out, but maybe the plumbing only allowed for that configuration. Don't let anything keep you from stopping in. The food was just as pictured and delicious, and the prices are fair.

We ordered the honey cornbread, hanger steak, brisket pasta, and hojicha fig latte. The honey cornbread was good, but a little too sweet for my liking. The hanger steak came with chimichurri, fries, and eggs. The steak itself was okay, but the chimichurri definitely saved it and added a lot more flavor. The fries were a bit too salty for me and also felt slightly undercooked. The brisket pasta was delicious, but definitely on the heavier side. It was tomato-based, although I couldn't really taste much of the tomato because the spice from the chili took over most of the flavor. The hojicha fig latte was good and tasted like a pretty standard hojicha latte. I couldn't really taste the fig at all, although fig does have a much more delicate flavor profile. Service was alright. We tried to flag down the servers a few times, but most of them seemed to be hanging around by the DJ booth and weren't really paying attention to the dining area in general. Overall, the food was definitely unique and there were some things I enjoyed, but I'm not sure if I'd personally come back.
