As a first time buyer, I had no idea what car to get and was open to anything and everything. I went to several dealerships - nothing felt right, and I was getting bombarded with calls from salesmen every single day which started to get very frustrating. The last place I stopped was Mazda. The only thing I knew about them was that I really liked how they looked. Before walking into the dealership, my parents and I walked around the lot to check things out. Bryan then met us outside and was so incredibly helpful. I think we may have wasted Bryan's whole day looking around and test driving different cars - we learned so much from him! He even taught my dad a trick on the car he's had for 3 years that no one explained to him at his dealer! As soon as I finished my test drive, I knew I would end up with a Mazda. Bryan knew that as a first time buyer, I needed a lot of time to think about this decision, and he did not pester me with dozens of calls - I was very appreciative of his patience with me. A few weeks later, I went back to the dealership to discuss pricing. Bryan and Sales Manager Tony were incredibly helpful during this process as well and made sure to thoroughly explain everything so that understood where every penny of my money was going. Tony also gave me a great deal that I couldn't turn down. They didn't have the color and model that I wanted on the lot, so I left anxious for my new car to come in. Tony let me know that this may take a few days. I was thrilled when I got a call from Bryan the NEXT DAY letting me know that my car was there and ready for me to take home! When I went to finalize the deal and pick up my car, Bryan went through all of the information on my car and I left feeling very confident with all of the features and where to look up any information that I may need in the future. Finance Manager Bob then went through paperwork and finalized pricing with us. He also was very thorough in explaining everything to me and making sure that I understood each document that I was signing. They then gave me the keys and I was on my way with my brand new 2014 Mazda 3! I am incredibly impressed by not only my new car, but with my whole buying experience at Classic Mazda. I can't thank them enough! read more

I had the best car-buying experience at Classic Mazda in Mentor. I had my sights set on trading in my current Mazda CX-5 for a newer (pre-owned) CX-9 which was a significant financial upgrade. I did not think that it would be possible given the cost of the vehicle and what I was going to be able to pay for a new vehicle but with the support of Savannah and Nate (the manager) with whom we worked, I now am driving my dream car and could not be happier. The car was in immaculate condition for a certified pre-owned vehicle. Working with both Nate and Savannah was very straight forward and seamless. Savannah took the time to text with me weeks before I even came in to get a better understanding of what I was looking for and, by the time I came in, I left 4 hours later with my NEW (new to me and really looking new) car! I could not recommend working with both of them enough. Curtis in financing was great as well and gave me some time to think about what I wanted warranty wise and worked with me on pricing. Overall, 10 out of 10 stars for Classic Mazda in Mentor... I might drive all the way out there from the west side for service to be honest! read more

I just bought my first car through this dealership and I have to say the entire experience from start to finish was WONDERFUL. Very quick and easy but thorough. I was looking for a 2010+ Mazda3 hatchback and didn't find anything in my price range in my home state of Michigan, but this dealership had EXACTLY what I was looking for and right under my budget. Rafael Leon was the salesperson who assisted me throughout the process mostly through phone since I was several hours away from the vehicle. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure I had everything taken care of to purchase my car, including emailing me additional photos that he took himself. Tony helped me sign all of the financial paperwork and took his time to explain every document to me to make sure I understood it all. The building was clean and comfortable and we were offered refreshments as they finished up. Honestly I would come back any of the Classic dealerships in Mentor before looking in my own state when I am ready to purchase my next car. This was the kind of extraordinary customer service you WANT to rave about. Highly recommended. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Jon Black. My initial intent was just to get an idea of what I wanted to purchase in the upcoming months. But after spending time with Jon I left with a 2025 Mazda CX-5. He was very professional, patient and kind. I felt relaxed and not pressured to purchase a vehicle. He had a lot of knowledge about the vehicle and the company. He answered all of my questions and was very polite. While we took a test drive (he was kind enough to do the driving, per my request) we discussed all the features. After I purchased the vehicle, and even though I had already owned 4 other Mazdas, he walked me through all of the features again to make sure I was comfortable with everything. He went above and beyond as a salesman! I would recommend him to anyone that wanted to purchase a Mazda. This was the last car I planned to purchase, but if I decide to purchase another Mazda sometime in the distant future, Jon is the person I would look for to help me! read more

I went to Classic Mazda to test drive and check out pricing on the highly rated Mazda 3. When I walked into the dealership I was instantly greeted by the Sales a Manager Tony, and helped out by Brian. We were able to go on a thorough test drive which was able to show all the features of the car. Brian was very knowledgeable about the car and was very kind and personable through the entire process. Back at the dealership talking numbers, I was given an opportunity to end my lease a month early on my previous vehicle and was given an offer for a lease on the Mazda 3 that was tough to pass up. Brian and the Finance Manager Bob went through the paperwork quickly but still thorough enough for me to understand what was going on, which was nice. Brian helped me the entire way from start to finish, even turning in my previous vehicle to the dealership. It was a great experience. read more

I am not one to write reviews due to lack of time, but I had to make time to share what a great it was to go and buy from Classic Mazda. Aubrey Anderson was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, courteous and knowledgeable! And although we went shopping with our toddler, Aubrey was happy to provide some entertainment for her, so my husband and I could get all the information we needed about the car. Tony was also such a nice sale person. He was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. We can't express what a NICE and awesome experience it was to buy a car. There was no pressure, no misinformation nor bad gut feelings. Both my husband and I were surprised at how great a car dealership can be. Other dealership should learn from Mazda Classic. We will continue to buy from them in the future! Great job Aubrey and Tony!!! read more

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Bryan Mendez at Mazda Mentor for the second time, and once again, he went above and beyond. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care made the leasing process for my CX-5 truly enjoyable. Bryan patiently addressed all my questions and concerns, ensuring I felt confident every step of the way. His attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service made me feel like a valued member of the Mazda family. Additionally, the entire team contributed to making my experience memorable. Their collaborative effort and dedication to excellence reaffirmed my trust in the dealership and deepened my love for the Mazda brand. I'm grateful for their outstanding service and eagerly look forward to returning to this friendly, remarkable dealership again and again! read more

I am and always will be so very grateful to Bryan Mendez for being such a great sales advisor, and my entire experience with this dealership was great. From my first time meeting him a month ago to the close of the deal today, Bryan was always very helpful, professional, and nice. I knew he was THE ONE for me to deal with when I was ready to get another car. And, I'm so happy I did. I was interested in three different vehicles at the dealership, and Bryan discussed each one thoroughly by going over all of the safety features and other features of each one. When I asked him if I could test drive each one, he gladly said "yes." At other dealerships, the sales advisors wouldn't even let me test drive a car. It was such a positive experience for me at Classic, and I highly recommend this dealership :) read more

First off I want to say Phil was and is a awesome sales rep. He applied no pressure to me purchasing a car. I went to other dealers today and the second I pulled in multiple reps were already at my car asking what I was looking for, told them nothing and drove away. Pulled to classic Mazda who was next in line and I walked around and then sure enough Phil was already coming in for the speech. Turns out he only asked if I needed help or if I wanted to be left alone. After he asked that my guard was down. Test drive 2 cars, he explained a little about each. Long story short, I am now a proud owner of. 2014 Mazda 6. He helped me out found what I was looking for in a car. I really recommend this place. The finance people and the manager were very nice and willing to help. Overall great experience. read more

If you're looking for a new car and don't know where to begin, start here. Once you've been to Class Mazda in Mentor, it's highly unlikely you'll go anywhere else. Ask for Jon B.: he's very knowledgable and flexible, and will do whatever it takes to get you the best vehicle in your price range. He also goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the vehicle and are completely satisfied with your purchase before driving it off the lot. An important side note for someone with a busy schedule: Jon is very responsive to emails and is extremely flexible if you have something come up and have to reschedule. I highly recommend this dealership not only for its incredible vehicles, but for the kind and professional staff that let you take your time and don't pressure you into buying a vehicle. read more

I purchased my second Mazda this past weekend and my first from Classic Mazda of Mentor. The entire sales staff was very accommodating. I was actually surprised to realize the first gentleman that I had the pleasure of meeting and test driving with was Mike Southworth the General Manager. Both he and my other salesman Nate Osicki worked with me and my wife to get a price on the CX-5 that was within our budget. There were no high pressure sales tactics used here, like I have felt at other dealerships when they really won't let you leave without a deal. I came in on Friday, left, and came back with my wife on Saturday for another look. I have nothing but great things to say about Classic Mazda and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great car at a good price. read more

James Joseph at classic Mazda went above and beyond to make my buying process spectacular. He even stayed an 1 1/2 hours after they closed to finish my sale and to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I was very concerned about a picture of my grandfather that had fallen behind the dash of my car that I was trading in. James made sure he got that picture out personally for me which meant the world to me! Although I was there later then their business hours not one person made me feel rushed. James even took the time to connect my phone to my new car and make sure I knew how to work everything. I will absolutely be coming back to this dealership any time I need a new vehicle. I can not say enough how wonderful James Joseph and the staff at Classic Mazda are! Thank you again!! read more

I cringe at just the thought of going through the car-buying process. So when we began our search for a new car, we began the search online so we'd have an idea of what we were walking into. Happy to say that Classic Mazda did not disappoint! Bryan Walker was amazing (and so patient!) to work with as was the whole team (Tony S., Anthony F.). Bryan was so accommodating and helpful with what we were looking for and Anthony was great with getting the paperwork signed so we could get out the door and enjoy our new car. The entire process was very smooth and painless. We brought the car back yesterday for an additional treatment and the staff was just as wonderful. After not having the best experience with a past Classic service department, I would highly recommend Mazda. read more

Aubrey and Bob were amazing to work with on purchasing a 2015 Mazda 6. I was able to communicate with Aubrey via email, since I live about 45 minutes away from the dealership and we were able to work out the best deal within a few days. When it came time so sign the paperwork, everything was ready to go by the time I arrived so I was out the door in a matter of no time! I never felt pressured during this process and Aubrey really listened to what I wanted and was a pleasure to work with. Bob, in financing, was also wonderful to work with. He took his time and made sure we completely understood what we were getting. I have already recommended Classic to my family members and I would most definitely return in the future! read more

I called about a car I'd seen on the net , and made an appointment for 10:00 am the next day. I wasn't sure if a deal could be made that day because of issues ( mine , not James' ) but he walked me thru the process and by 2:00 pm I had my new ride parked in my drive. The finance manager ( Eric Ash...? , I've forgotten his last name ,sorry. ) was also extremely helpful , ( he found a loan with better terms , WOW, saved me some real dough! ) So between those two , great car, great deal , (James even " coded" my phone into the car for "hands -free " usage , thanks for that, man! ) . Should the subject of a "go-to" dealer come up , I'll most definitely recommend James Joseph et al and ....AND Classic Mazda read more

I have been with Classic Mazda over ten years. My two adult sons have come aboard too. Altogether we have bought or leased nine cars. I have been leasing since 1996. I started with Camrys or Accords, but have found the last three iterations of the Mazda 6 to be more satisfying in performance, in quality, and in value. The lease rates have always been lower than a comparable Camry or Accord. More importantly, my relationship with the salesmen has always been cordial - no high pressure ever. I just leased my new 6, working with a new( for me) salesman, Brian Walker, who was professional and accommodating. He made the process easy. read more

This was the easiest experience I have ever had buying a new car. Our sales person was very knowledgeable of the product, friendly and personable. The sales manger was just as friendly and wanted to know what she could do to get our business. We were never held hostage, just willing to work with us. We had two totally different cars and dealerships in mind but because they worked with us, treated us fair and were friendly, also very clean dealership we went with the Mazda 6 gt car and classic Mazda dealership. I am so happy we did. I love my Mazda, love driving it. I would deal with them again and recommend. Kim H painesville oh read more

I have been driving a Mazda for close to 20 years. Everyone I have ever worked with at Classic Mazda has been professional and considerate to what I need and am looking for in a vehicle; a very 'family feel' at Classic Mazda! This past weekend I got another car, and for several months leading up to my new car I have been working with Jon (whom I've worked with before). As always, very professional and willing to work with me on what I need. Very knowledgeable and helpful on Mazda cars, and very thorough in the process! I would recommend Jon and Classic Mazda to anyone looking for a new vehicle! They are great!! read more
