Very dishonest and misleading dealership. Their listing for a 2014 Honda CR-V stated that the…read morevehicle had new brakes all around and excellent tires. In addition, during a phone call with Michael Megresh, the owner, he told me the tires were new all around. I live about an hour away, so I did not want to drive there until I had financing arranged through a third party. I relied on the statements in their listing and on what I was told over the phone. Those statements, which are still on their website, were completely false and, in my opinion, borderline fraudulent. Because I was seriously interested in the vehicle, I paid $195 to have a well-respected independent pre-purchase inspection company inspect the car. The inspection found that the brake pads were only about 50%. The tires were mismatched, with three of one kind and one different tire. The tread depth was only 4/32nds. One tire had a gash in the sidewall, and another tire was badly worn on the outside edge. One of the most important things to me was finding a vehicle with good tires and good brakes so I would not immediately have to spend money on maintenance. I assumed the description they posted on every site where they listed the car was truthful. It was not. It could not have been more misleading. When I called the salesperson I had been dealing with, he said he had given the matter to his boss. That is when I called Mr. Megresh. I have never been treated so rudely as a customer. He told me my inspection company was lying to me and did not know what they were doing. What possible motive would an independent inspection company have to give me false information? Despite the inspection results, he still insisted the tires were excellent and the brakes were new. Then he had the nerve to offer only $200 off the price of the vehicle. The only reason I paid for the inspection was because I relied on their representations that the vehicle had new brakes and excellent, or supposedly new, tires. Both of those statements were false. All I asked for was reimbursement of my $195 inspection fee because their misleading listing caused me to spend that money. Whatever you do, stay away from this dealership. In my opinion, they made false and fraudulent statements in their listing and over the phone, treated me rudely when confronted with the inspection results, and refused to take responsibility. They will tell you anything to sell a car. Be very careful.

Where do I even begin? This dealership is incredibly dishonest. They took my deposit and assured me…read morethat the van was in excellent condition and completely rust-free. I flew from Chicago to Cleveland just to buy this car, and when I asked about its condition, they claimed it was in great shape, with 'no rust'--even the website description said so. But what I found on arrival was appalling. The van was filthy, covered in visible rust, with rocker panels poorly patched up with cracked, uneven Bondo. I lifted the plastic cover of the engine, and it was full of rat droppings, crumbled foam, and other debris. The engine started squealing within minutes due to a loose pulley, and there was a loose heat shield lying in the engine bay, ready to be sucked into the belt. Every single engine bolt looked it it would break off if you tried removing it. Then I looked underneath, and it was the most rusted-out vehicle I've ever seen. Junkyard parts still had the salvage codes marked on them, and the rear suspension was so rusted that bolts had fused with brackets. Everything attached to the frame looked like a flaky croissant - delaminating, crumbling steel. As a metal fabricator, I immediately recognized signs of frame damage and a terrible repair job, hidden with a quick spray of fresh paint over the welds. None of this was reported on the Carfax, which should have at least flagged it as a salvage title. FRAME DAMAGE IS SERIOUS! It didn't end there. The rocker panels had stress cracks that made the van look like it would literally fold in half if driven. When I confronted the dealer, he refused to give me a full refund of my deposit. So, after spending over $1,000 on flights and travel for this wasted trip, I had to walk away, out well over a thousand dollars including the deposit. They wanted more than $8,500 for a van that looked like it had been left in a river for a decade. You couldn't get $ 1,500 if you were to trade it in! Do not trust this dealership - they're dishonest and their vehicles are dangerous.

He took a loan from the credit union for the rest. We informed them that he was 18 and we really wanted to make sure he got something reliable that he wouldn't be dumping money into right away and Dave told us he just had it in the shop mechanic replaced a few things and engine ran great only thing needed would be back tires everything else was great. So we took his word for that. 4 days into owning this car it lost complete power while our son was driving it and brakes quit working and luckily he was able to veer off the road before he went head on into a main road. We had it towed and Dave had mechanic look at it said he was puzzled but replaced a crack shaft sensor and charged us a 100 bucks and said they did this out of "goodwill" because we bought the car "as is". Dave said he isn't even telling Chuck he did this because he wouldn't allow it. Well 2 days later same problem so my husband looks under the hood and the battery terminals were completely loose which leads us to believe did they even look under the hood or just take us for 100 bucks. Fast forward 5 days. The engine completely BLOWS UP. We call Dave and Chuck say sorry nothing we can do you bought as is. Now reading through this company reviews this is not the first time they have done this to people. And they will comment on this " you signed as is" "you didn't purchase the extended warranty" - he did purchase an extended warranty 2 days after the purchase of buying the car because their warranty didn't cover nearly as much as we like we have a company we use and we like a lot but you can't use it until you hit 30 days of purchasing it. Also when you buy as is especially on something that is 7000 dollars you are hoping to get more than 15 days out of it!!! And those 15 days not having issues!!! So save yourself the comments Dave and Chuck. I am not sure how you guys can live with yourselves knowing you basically stole from a poor 18 year old kid starting out in life but hey more power to ya I guess.

Purchased the vehicle took it to my mechanic because the check engine light came on again. Catalytic converter!! $1,300.00 and haven't had it more than 2 days. Not to mention leak in my transmission line$700.00, lower ball joints $400.00, rear suspension and rear washer fluid line $1,300.00. I will say the ball joints were covered. That's it. Called to the shop before I got the work done for the converter he gave me a check for$200.00 what good that will do. Only thing I can say good is one the truck runs awsome with the ball joints done, converter, and transmission lines. Still have washer lines and rear suspension left. The dealer was friendly ( might as well be). Oh yeah 4-5 lights out. Thanks Action Motors

I knew what was wrong with the GPS as the people at Mentor Kia told me what was wrong, so when I made an appointment to have it repaired there, I told them the problem and said there might be an issue with the warranty company. They charged me $130 for a diagnosis on a problem THEY told me had and then called the warranty company who refused to honor the warranty. I feel I was ripped off for $130. The service advisor said her people do not work for free (which I certainly agree with), but the amount for a 5-minute look at a problem they had already diagnosed was unreasonable. They also knew there might be a problem with the warranty company, yet they did not verify the status before ripping me off for $130. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth about this dealership which had always been great in the past. What makes me madder is that not only did the service advisor refuse to bend on the fee once I realized what was happening is that I contacted the General Manager who did not even bother to respond to my complaints.
