Top notch customer service. Was a pleasure to work with Phil Albert and the other guys at Classic. They were able to find the specific car I wanted and bring it in from another dealer which I really appreciated. Highly recommended place. Thanks again. read more

I just bought my first Mazda at Classic Mazda in Mentor and couldn't be happier. Sarah Holland went above and beyond helping me find the right car for me. I absolutely love her and would highly recommend you come see her if you are in the market for a vehicle. I love my CX50 Hybrid! Thank you so much Sarah Holland and Classic Mazda! read more

And this is the response to your review response.... There was one code that was on the screen that is in the picture and it was only for the hybrid system, The check engine is triggered by the hybrid system And your service department wanted to charge the diagnose that So what you are saying as a response to my review is a lie like everything else you do at that dealership and your service department said it's not related and they have to charge for the diagnostic fee So obviously everything you say is a lie like I said before from top to bottom You would not bring the car in unless I pay for the diagnostic fee and your reviews on Google show that you charge for unnecessary services and your company makes clients leave reviews for brand new cars which of course have no issues yet Deception from leadership to scam service managers They charge 175 diagnostic fee for hybrid system malfunction which comes on all the time and triggers check engine light. read more

BeWare!. This dealership charges significantly more for parts, so always double-check prices online--especially for things like tires. I went in for a free oil change and was told I needed two air filters. They cost less than $25 online, but I was charged over $62. Installing them during an oil change is simple, yet they billed me more than $62 for labor for a total of $134. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Experience was top notch inform start to finish. Appreciated the help they provided throughout the process. Bryan Walker was an outstanding sales rep. I'd highly recommend him and Classic Mazda. read more

I went to look at cars with my best friend and we met with Jesus. He was great to talk to, really had a great energy to him. Loved chatting with him. My wife & I have now purchased I believe 13 Mazda's from Classic. Every single one was consecutive except one and mostly two car deals. They always treat us great both with the sale and then especially after with servicing. Our salesman this time was Bryan Walker and being my wife's CX-5 he couldn't have been more polite & patient with her explaining all the new features and programming everything for her. Bravo to the Sales Manager & the Finance Manager as well. Go buy a car or truck at Classic now! Remember, Buy Classic!! read more

Jesus Olvera and pre-owned Sales Mgr Brandon were easy to work with. Jesus was patient and great at offering options. Best car buying experience I've had in a long time. read more

Literally came on foot to this dealership. I guess today was not the day for cars sales or something. One gentleman looked me dead in the eye and put his head down; acted like he had a call on his phone. While the other gentleman just walked away. I guess I should have walked up with a four-piece suit on and a sign that says, "I have money and want to buy a car" before I am approached or considered worthy to be customer. read more

Had a great experience with Classic Mazda of Mentor OH. Tim Gamble our "Product Specialist" was right on top of things. We are not from OH but Tim made the purchase very easy and with little time spent at the dealership to finish the deal and pick up my car. Tim was very knowledgeable and personable. We were able to complete almost everything on-line so that when we arrived we spent minimal time at the dealership and were on our way back to Michigan. Also got a better deal on the vehicle than any Mazda dealership could offer in the Metro Detroit area. Was a bit of a drive but well worth the effort! Thanks Tim and the team at Classic Mazda of Mentor Ohio !! read more

I worked with David at Classic Mazda. I ended up not getting the car, found something newer with less miles, sorry brother. But he was easily the best car buying experience I had in 2 months of car shopping. Responsive. Easy to communicate with. On my side. Friendly. Reasonable on price. So pleasantly, friendly, professional and someone that I would gladly give my money to. Can't recommend enough!!!!!! read more

They were short staffed of a Friday going into the holiday weekend and the sales team and management were very attentive and aware that I was going to have to wait to finish my deal for a couple hours. Good conversations were had and we had a "we're in this together" mentality. When the deal was done I was pleased and FINALLY have a Miata to have some fun with. I've always had great experiences at all the Classic dealerships. Charlie at Mazda is a gentleman and a scholar and will be running a dealership one day. Good times. read more

This dealership's customer service is terrible I paid $4000 for some front end work that was the skill of a backyard mechanic. They overcharged me not only that I left the dealership and almost died because my tire came off causing me to get injured and damaging my car. After the accident that was there fault they had my car a month didn't apologize, give me a loaner car or anything. Instead they gave me my car back on empty fixed the body work and have me my car back running worse than before. All the money I spent with them its ridiculous they way I was treated total lack of empathy. I don't recommend Classic Mazda all they mechanics are not well trained and negligent. I literally thankful GOD blessed me with my life I just got off the freeway minutes before the incident. read more

they had a 17-year-old detail a $22,000 plus car and put finite scratches all over it. Don't come here for a new car if you value your money. classic Mazda, offered to buff it out, but I could not imagine what they would do with a buffer if they scratched it with a fucking microfiber. Extremely poor service, and I felt rushed the whole time. Brand new car with little tiny scratches all over the paint and plastic. I should've just had them get me a new car but they rushed me with all of it and I was in desperate need of a vehicle so I didn't really have an option. worst experience buying a new car go some place else read more

Saturday purchased a car from Kevin at Classic Mazda. What a great buying experience. He knew more about the car than me, that's a first for most dealerships. Kevin's a casual, no pressure guy. I'm sure he could please a more formal client but I'm not one. They were very fair with my trade in, no pressure on any additional warranties. The business office was very upfront and answered all questions I had. I highly recommend going to Classic Mazda and ask for Kevin. read more

What a pleasan car buying experience! My sales advisor, Phil, was as helpful as can be, and he worked hard to not only earn my trust, but to work the best deal possible for me. The sales manager got the deal done with far less than perfect credit and made it so I was able to drive a car that I will enjoy owning home that evening. I'm likely going to be a long time customer, and will always give them the first opportunity to earn my business again. read more

Mike and staff were very friendly and helpful! Buying a car is as much fun as going to the dentist, but Mentor Mazda made the experience as painless as possible. They were friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Highly recommend! read more

I just went for my first oil change since the horrible incident at Classic. It turns out that they stripped the oil plug so you could not remove the oil. The new place that I took my car had to drill out the plug and replace the whole thing. Seriously?!? Stay away from this dealership! read more

Overall Impression: Classic Mazda is a Class Act. Our Story: Arranged to test drive a used CX-5 with 3k miles on it that was from the dealer's loaner program. On our way there, the salesman Lee Velazquez called to say the person who test drove it before us bought the car. But there was a similar car available to test drive if we wanted. We kept our appt. and test drove the similar car. Liked it but wanted a package that it didn't have. Lee arranged to pull a car that met our specs out of the loaner program and sell it to us for same price of the car we were interested in initially. No bait and switch. Instead, Lee went above and beyond to get us the car we wanted for the price we expected. Through the whole process, Lee kept in touch via text and email so were able to get all the financing information and documents in their hands before we came to pickup the car. Everyone at the dealership was wearing full masks (not bandanas) and following COVID protocols. Very professional. Quick Tip: Dealer financing can take a while. So you may want to make your pick up appt. 2-3 hours before you want to get home. But considering how much time Lee saved us by getting our paperwork in order ahead of time, at Classic Mazda, it's worth the wait. read more

We purchased a new 2023 Mazda CX5 from Classic Mazda and I have to say the experience was actually very pleasant. I did some research on their website then made an appointment with Daniel Pavilonis. He was very informativ, he has a great knowledge of the cars and the sales process. He was a pleasure to deal with. I believe we got a great product at a great price. I whole heartedly recommend Classic Mazda and Daniel Paviloni. read more

I liked my sales person but I would have otherwise rated this dealership a 0. I came in with a co-signer and am now getting all the rejections with just me on the app. They did this knowing I would get some horrible interest rate. Anyway, I'm refinancing with a credit union for 4.3 when they financed me at 12%!! Shady as ever!! I would return the car if I could. read more

Had an amazing experience with Lee Velazquez (sales person). He is very knowledgeable about the different vehicles. He was so patient with me and worked with me to the very end. I was so indecisive about which car I wanted, but Lee smiled and was so kind through the whole experience.... (two days I went back and fourth)! Thank you so much Lee! It wasn't only Lee, Brian Walker was amazing. I talked with him first on the phone, but he was with a customer when I arrived, the first time. He was so nice came up greeted me and made sure everything was going great with Lee... both days. Bob was very helpful and so was the financial gentleman. I will definitely be going back here, just hoping this group of gentlemen will be there too. read more

I went to help my brother buy a car. We get everything settled, except they needed one document that he didn't have, but could get in the mail in roughly two weeks. We were told we could down a deposit and they would hold the car. Not even a week goes by and they tell us they can't hold it AND had been showing the car to other the whole time. Unreliable, phony, selfish and untrustworthy. DO NOT recommend. read more

Easy people to deal with. This is my third car from Classic Mazda. Wouldn't keep going back if I didn't like them.

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish shopping here. I have been in and out of what feels like a million dealerships, and Classic Mazda was seamless. This experience was from the people, primarily James Joseph, whom I would suggest you work with. He explained Mazda both in technicalities, and through the experience of the car. He heard what I was looking for, and showed me ALL of my options in the inventory. He was patient and kind! He facilitated a clear negotiation process. Got us in to fill out the paperwork, and made sure the vehicle was in pristine shape before we brought it home. James made a painful process a pleasureable one. read more

From start to finish my buying experience was unlike any other before. Every single person I got to work with and even just passed walking by was so friendly. Lee Velazquez was great to work with. He knows the Mazda vehicles, and is easy to work with. My wife and I returned 3 times to test drive and ask questions - we never felt pressure to purchase! I have been loyal Toyota and Subaru owners for decades - it was interesting to see how vehicle quality, price and ease of doing business all came together at Classic Mazda - I'm a happy customer! read more
