I purchased a new truck and after much deliberation I decided to get a spray in bed liner. Naturally I did quite a bit of research and while I preferred to get one from the factory I found a much better solution in d&s automotive. I learned quite a bit about spraying bedliners there are pros and cons and certainly have its share of detractors. But Anthony at DNS did a good job of educating me and certainly the price point was within the budget of what I wanted to spend. The two main spray in bedliners I was considering were rhino and Line-X. Well generally they do the same thing what I found was rhino lining which is sold and serviced by d&s is simply one product. No difference in color thickness or options or add-ins. Line-X which I'm certain has its fans gives you the option to add in ultraviolet protection certain thicknesses they can even tint the lining so if you're a fancy fellow that wanted a red line x sprayed in you could do that. But it also added in to the price as well. Generally DNS sprays in your rhino lining and mine cost me out the door $580 with tax. This is my first pickup truck and I don't like stuff sliding around in the back of the truck and this textured surface will certainly limit that. The quality of the work that they did was surprisingly good. There was no overspray or thin spots and I couldn't find anything to get upset about not that I was looking to get upset but they did a really good job and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

D & S received my…read morevehicle the morning of 10/29 and did not assess and submit a supplemental until 11/11 which the insurance approved immediately. D&S kept me in the loop and provided thorough information about the repairs needed and how the technicians would achieve this process in a timely manner. Once the assessment was complete, I was informed if parts came timely repairs would be done the first week of December at the top of the week and I'd be able to pick up my vehicle then. Harley did a wonderful job of communicating each step with me providing a timeline of when my vehicle would be ready. I was then informed it would take more time to put my vehicle back together than previously anticipated so my vehicle would be ready by 12/05 rather than the top of the week. Harley let me know the team was unable to complete putting my vehicle back together by EOD and my vehicle would be ready by 12/08 at the earliest and 12/09 at the latest along with approval from the insurance company of a second and final supplement for the labor to put my vehicle back together that the team did not originally anticipate. Calibrations and clean up weren't complete until 12/09. Harley then informed me the service writer was unable to finish sending the information to the insurance company by EOD 12/09. 12/10 the information / final supplement was sent over to the insurance company to review. I was finally able to pick up my vehicle 12/12 after I called the insurance company several times to expedite their review of the supplement money needed for the extra labor costs of putting my vehicle back together which D&S did not anticipate during their initial review. D&S finished calibrations and cleanup 12/09 but would not release it until they received the supplement from the insurance for the extra labor costs. The body work looks and feels amazing, you cannot tell my rear bumper was replaced. Only downsides, the technician my mom and I spoke to was unable to tell us if the vehicle had a full paint job. Once I went to my vehicle I was unable to access it as the technician forgot to take it out of service mode. I went back into the shop to find someone to take this out of service mode. My panel under my hood of car was not put back, however I popped this back on myself. I appreciate Harley's customer service and updates. The repair team unfortunately left me feeling unnerved about all the 'unexpected' extra work necessary after their review.

    Called this shop to inform them that I had two missed calls from this number. Bob then states he…read moredidn't call me, and is curt and dismissive about it. Well hey great for you Bob, but this number is calling me and you should look in to that because if I'm getting these calls, who knows who else is getting them. Rather than listening to me for helpful feedback, he says "look I'm not going to spend my time fixing this." And hangs up. I get it, maybe you're having a horrible day, but you should never treat any client or caller in this manner especially when they're letting you know of a potential problem that could lead to bigger issues from people like me who have no idea why they're getting multiple calls from your business. Shouldn't you want to fix that instead of dealing with a bigger headache and aggravating people in the process? Horrible customer service, horrible business acumen and an outright miserable person as the first contact for the business. If this is how they handle their operations, I'd steer clear unless you want to risk being treated like you're not worth their time. Posting the screenshot of the missed calls from your business and reporting your phone operations to the BBB. Thanks for your help, Bob. Now carry on with your miserable life.

They were more interested in…read more"making the insurance company pay" rather than explaining why their estimate was just about $10,000 more than my insurance, State Farm, would pay (6K vs 16K). I told them I needed to move my car across the street and they let me but they refused to give back all the parts that they took off my car, many of which were good parts. I never got my parts back because I wasn't going to pay the $3,456.10 they wanted for their estimate. Honestly, what they are doing should be illegal.

Brought a BMW X5 here for a simple repair to a front bumper, and the shop proceeded to send supplement after supplement, which the insurance adjuster did not agree with, pushing the initial $5000 repair to $13,000. We would attempt to get updates, and they would take days to reply. We asked them to cancel the repair and they claimed we would owe $4800 in storage fees to get the car back. It took days for them to even produce that number, how could they say we owe them for that time? At one point, a person answering the phone said "we only charge the storage fees because insurance will pay it, maybe they'll help you because you're a customer". I don't think she even understood that is fraud. We went there to find that the car had been disassembled far beyond the accident area, and the parts carelessly thrown inside as though the shop had decided on their own they were going to make our vehicle a total loss. Initially, the front desk agent was so defensive about the situation she went as far as to say "we don't have to help you at all" . Only after demanding we speak to the owner, were we able to get someone to seemingly take responsibility and release the car to us without charges. We were promised the destroyed panels would be replaced, but we have yet to hear from them a month later. Absolutely do not go here.
