Came in for a engine light,and smelled a hint of gas..I received a call from Chicks letting me know I needed a fuel pressure sensor along with a plug n wires,so do to I was on a budget I wanted to know if I could just hold off on the leak cause it wasn't a major leak (no visible gas),he stated if I didn't get it done my engine light would come back on.So I asked what was my damage (meaning the total he stated $1070 with my AAA $70 off)Gave me my total and told me It was to late in the evening so i want be able to pick up my vehicle till the next day.Received a call the next day letting me know the gas tank straps was rusted n couldn't be used so i would need straps but no labor cost just to pay for the part cause the tank is already down,and the straps were $65,a couple of hours later I got the call my truck was done.When it was time to pay,he tacked on a extra $500 for some shop fees,and diag price..Couldn't understand why the price jumped so far up from what he stated on the phone?We ended up going back n forth arguing over the price, once I left and called to price parts he up charged me on the cost of the parts at least a extra $300 and once I got to the car wash,my engine light came back on. read more

I got a flat tire on my way to work and had to drive in (50 miles) on a donut which is not a huge deal, but didn't want to make the trip multiple times. Called a couple of places and was told "we can try to get you in next week" -- called Chick's and they got me in the same day, even though they were already booked up for the day. Wow......I feel extremely dirty after being ripped of in every shape and form from this place. I took a recommendation to go there and the first two times, for an oil change, were expensive but uneventful. I did ask about getting my transmission fluid changed and they said the fluid alone would be over 250.00 because of the CVT transmission on the car. Turns out, from the Nissan dealer, that I was being lied to. They changed it for 149.00. Then I had a problem with the exhaust pipe I took to chicks. They charged, for 1 hour of work per the receipt, 94.60. Then I sat down with the receipt and saw the parts were almost double the cost then if buying them. For example, I needed an exahust pipe (not the muffler) repaired. They charged just for the pipe (number 68531) 173.49. The actual retail cost, not the discounted price they get, is 85.99. Furthermore they charged 21.95 to "check rotational noise in rear". What? There was no rotational noise in rear. THEN on the receipt they charged 25.00 dollars for SHOP SUPPLIES? Wtf? To top it off, I drove off and my entire car door, inside, and drivers seat were covered in heavy dirt from the repair thus I had to get it detailed. Took the receipt to the Nissan dealer and ultimately by going to the dealer I would have paid half of what I paid. Again, I feel extremely dirty and ripped off after going to Chicks and will never contemplate doing so again. read more

We moved here from Cincinnati area, and needing a trusting mechanic to work on our cars. We seen the reviews and thought we would give them a try. They are the BEST! Trustworthy! Fair pricing, and definitely great service! We have used them many times since 2015 and I can tell you they have not changed. My husband ended up on the side of the road and had to call a tow truck. Then proceed to rent a vehicle so he can go to work the next day.
