Came in for a engine light,and smelled a hint of gas..I received a call from Chicks letting me know…read moreI needed a fuel pressure sensor along with a plug n wires,so do to I was on a budget I wanted to know if I could just hold off on the leak cause it wasn't a major leak (no visible gas),he stated if I didn't get it done my engine light would come back on.So I asked what was my damage (meaning the total he stated $1070 with my AAA $70 off)Gave me my total and told me It was to late in the evening so i want be able to pick up my vehicle till the next day.Received a call the next day letting me know the gas tank straps was rusted n couldn't be used so i would need straps but no labor cost just to pay for the part cause the tank is already down,and the straps were $65,a couple of hours later I got the call my truck was done.When it was time to pay,he tacked on a extra $500 for some shop fees,and diag price..Couldn't understand why the price jumped so far up from what he stated on the phone?We ended up going back n forth arguing over the price, once I left and called to price parts he up charged me on the cost of the parts at least a extra $300 and once I got to the car wash,my engine light came back on.
