After receiving no return phone calls following a visit to the Cleveland dealership, I decided to take my business elsewhere with Classic Lexus being the closest to me. On May 4th 2024 I went to this dealership to purchase a Lexus TX 350. It was explained to me by the sales rep, Brandon Fox that they had none in stock but that I could order the vehicle with the specs of my choosing. I placed an order and made a $1000 deposit. I was informed that it would approximately take a month for the vehicle to arrive. I received no phone calls from this dealership to provide any updates and on June 14, 2024 I called to check on the status. The person who answered informed me that my sales rep no longer worked there and passed me onto another sales rep, Ray. He said that I should have been notified of the recall and that the vehicle I ordered was sitting in a quality control check point. I had not received a phone call from anyone informing me of a recall. He stated that they expect the vehicle to arrive in approximately 30 days. He told me he would talk to his manager and call me back. I received no phone calls from Ray. On July 18, 2024 I called to ask for a status update since I had not received any calls. I was told it was Rays day off and that I could leave a voicemail. So I left a voicemail. On July 23, 2024 at 11:08 AM I still had not received a call so I followed up and asked for Ray. I was hung up on by the operator, so I called back. I was informed that he was with a customer and that he would call me back. I received a call back from Ray at 11:36 AM that day. He said my car was still stuck in the shipment port. He said they hope to hear something in August regarding an update. I received no phone calls from anyone at Classic Lexus. On December 5th, 2024 at 5:15PM I called to check on the status of my vehicle. I was able to speak with Ray and he told me he is going to get in touch with the inventory manager. He also said he would look into putting a hitch added on the vehicle for me and would get back to me on this. As you can guess, I never heard back from Ray nor anyone else at Classic Lexus. On December 30th, 2024 I called and asked for Ray. He was with a customer so I asked to speak with a manager. I was transferred to Manny, who informed me he was not a manager and that the call must have been sent to his desk by mistake. He said he would talk to a manager and he also informed me that he sees my car was shipped from Indiana and was sitting in Lordstown. He told me he would have a manager call me back. On December 31st, Dylan, a manager called me back and he left me a voicemail. In this voicemail he stated that he would call me back on Monday, January 6th, 2025. I returned his call at 3:19PM that same day, December 31st. He was with a customer so I left a voicemail and said yes, could he please call me back on Monday January 6th 2025. And again, I received no return call. Last night I was watching TV and saw a commercial for the Lexus TX 350. While I have been extremely calm and patient during this whole process, it became clear to me that one needs to beg to purchase a vehicle from Lexus. I am so extremely disappointed in Lexus. I have been a Toyota owner for years and was excited to make this upgrade. I am so let down by this purchasing experience. I have had to put new tires on my existing car and have gone so far just shy of a year trying to just have someone return my calls when they say they will. Or even someone to call me and say "While we don't have an update for you, we did want to touch base and let you know we are still waiting." Or anything like that. Instead, I have to call and call and call and hope someone will call me back. Classic Lexus has had my deposit of $1000 since May 4, 2024 and has not once called me back without me calling and calling. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Normally a fantastic business to be a part of. Brought my car here for 60k+ miles worth of services and never had an issue. However, the last two times I went I had less than desirable experiences. This last service I dropped my Lexus off at 8AM for an oil change, tire rotation, and normal inspection. I never received a call on when my vehicle would be done. When I called the next day they told me it wouldn't be done until 4PM (which is when the service department was closing). I picked up my vehicle from the front desk and the tires were not rotated and the normal inspection was not completed. Additionally, non of my fluids were topped off like normal. I didn't receive any of the normal paperwork telling me my fluid levels, brake and tire life, or current alignment. The only upside is they comped my 36 hour oil change. Probably will never go back here. They must be losing all of their quality employees. read more

We live 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA and due to the coronavirus were reluctant to travel to Ohio. After expressing this concern to Jason the next morning he said not a problem, I can bring the car to you this afternoon and he did. The car was everything that Jason presented it to be, if not more. He also wiped the interior down due to the virus concerns. All documents were pre-prepared and signed a without issue. Jason proved to be extremely profession, knowledgeable and courteous. I visited Classic Lexus when shopping for a new car. Everything about the experience was great. The entire Classic Auto Group is a great operation. I bought my previous car at Classic Toyota and have been working with their service department for years to give all scheduled services to my car. Everything that is great about Classic Auto Group is just ramped up to top-tier at Classic Lexus. The entire sales experience was about as good as it can get. Our sales rep, Michael Zack, was very patient and professional, taking the necessary time to learn about what we were seeking, and what our concerns/anxieties were. Buying a premium-priced car is a process that is complex (and very anxiety-inducing, for me), but the sales team was very patient and reassuring. Both the Lexus corporate and Classic Lexus website are resources for learning about all of the different aspects of the cars and the options that are available. Mike shared resources from Consumer Reports about the cars specs and reliability. We never felt rushed or pressured at any time in the sales process. Classic Lexus has a beautiful showroom and facility. It seems that Lexus owners expect a top-flight experience in customer service, and this dealership delivers. This review pertains to the excellent quality of service I received from the service department. I received a letter in the mail stating there was a recall on a certain part of my Lexus vehicle and I needed to get that fixed before the DMV would allow me to renew my registration. I live in Erie, PA currently and the closest Lexus dealership is this one in Willoughby, OH. While it was difficult to make the drive over (78 miles or so), I'm extremely glad I want to this dealership. Mark Maskol gave me the royal treatment. Even though I was only going there to get a recall item and an extended warranty issue fixed, which means no business for the dealership really, I was treated exceptionally well. I was given a loaner vehicle the entire time my car was in the shop and I even had a loaner vehicle towed out to me when I was experiencing some additional, unrelated problems, just so Classic Lexus could make sure that the care was safe to drive. It was found out that the issues I was experience after repairs were made to the vehicle were unrelated, but they still didn't charge me anything. Mark was there every step of the way, going above and beyond to meet my needs. He was always available and understanding. The only complaint I have would be about their misleading statement, "At classic Lexus we strive for 100% satisfaction..." In truth, they achieve 110%. Do not hesitate to make this dealership and service provider your top choice. I give them my unreserved recommendation. read more

I bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from Classic in November 2018 and in January 2019 the heat started blowing cold. I bought the drive train warranty but of course told it was not covered. Classic could cared less that they sold me a defective $27,000 Jeep and basically told me it wasn't their problem. I understand it's not a Lexus nor a new vehicle, but it was still sold on their lot and I was made false promises. The issue even got escalated to GM Matt Dietz who did absolutely nothing.
