James Joseph made my daughter's first car buying experience absolutely wonderful. He did such a good job making sure that he spoke directly to her since she was the main decision maker. James is knowledge, professional and helpful. He worked out a great deal for us along with Nick Crea. They came up with an amazing finance deal along with a great price for the car. They were both very easy to work with! We also appreciate James coming in on his day off. He accommodated our schedule while he sacrificed his day off. James was very thorough when he went over the car which was very helpful too. I can't thank James and Nick enough for being so great through my daughter's first car buying experience. Thank you very much James and Nick! I strongly recommend the dealership and James and Nick for you next car buying experience! read more

I loathe the whole car buying experience. Actually, it stresses me out. However, this time was different. From the moment we met Phil until the moment we drove off the lot, I felt at ease about my decision to purchase a 2014 Mazda 2. I had done my research on this car already, but was impressed with how Phil continued to provide me with information that I needed to know about my car. Even during the test drive he seemed genuinely excited about how the car performs. The best part of this experience was that I was treated like a person and not just another "sale". There were no uncomfortable tactics or painful demands during the negotiating process. At the end of the day, I left feeling like I purchased the car and warranty that I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. Thank you Phil for an exceptional car buying experience! read more

Classic Mazda made my buying experience incredibly smooth. I was a little nervous, as I live 3 hours from the dealership. Most of our conversations were over the phone/online, so I did not see my vehicle until the day I bought it. I arrived at Classic and the car was exactly what they claimed it to be. Very satisfied. read more

Last week we bought a new Mazda 3 from Classic Mazda of Mentor Ohio. It had to be our best experience ever buying a car, new or used. Nate Osicki, the Sales Manager, assigned Bryan Walker to work with us. Bryan was excellent (5-stars all around). He was thoroughly familiar with the available stock of cars, each their features and related them to our preferences. Bryan was relaxed and approachable. He explained every aspect of the vehicles we were interested in seeing and the purchase process. He clearly answered all of our questions. The negotiation was warm and gracious. Classic took care of every detail, even contacting our insurance provider to transfer coverage to our new car. In the end, we were very pleased with our experience and Classic earned a loyal customer. read more

Salesperson Phil was a good listener and very helpful in helping me to make a decision to lease a car. Everything from paperwork down to having the car all cleaned and ready for pick up the next day including an introduction to the Service manager was done professionally. Classic Cars Dealers have a great reputation regardless of the car maker they represent. I feel good about my lease and look forward to enjoying my Mazda Cx-5. Thanks Phil. M.Turkel read more

Lee Velasquez, Brian, and Bob did an outstanding job for me! I am thrilled with the outstanding service they provided. This was my third car from them and they just keep getting better. Highly recommended! read more

I had an amazing experience shopping with Jeff's help! He is extremely knowledgeable on every feature of these cars and worked very hard to tend to multiple customers when his appointments overlapped. I brought my new car home yesterday and I have already recommended making an appointment with him to a few of my friends!! Jeff and Kevin really helped to make the process go smoothly, I left very satisfied with my experience at Mazda. read more

I almost hate to give 5 stars because I fear looking like a paid shill. But, basically, these guys were really great. There was no hard sell and no big pressure (though plenty of well laid out options). I had done my homework - and you better too - prior to ringing them and then coming in to see them. We were interested in the Mazda CX5 and they were (are, as of Oct 18th, 2013 anyway!) offering a great lease deal and, as I couldn't find anything to match that elsewhere and as it was an AWD auto with top reviews, I was definitely interested. We took it for a test drive and then sat down to negotiate with Phil, our salesperson. (He's a great guy and good to deal with, by the way.) Anyway, I have to admit that I was *initially* somewhat underwhelmed by the feel of the car (this is rapidly changing, however), basically because it was not as smooth a drive as the Chevy Equinox I usually drive. But, after doing a few price adjustments for us, and upon my learning that the car comes with some nice extras, like Gap Insurance and Wear & Tear included, I thought, why the hell not? It's a great deal and, who was I trying to kid, I came there to buy anyway! So, we did the deal - meeting the most excellent Bob, in finance, in the process - all of which took probably about 2 hours. My wife then hopped back into her Equinox and we formed a convoy that moved out across the Cleveland night and back to our supposedly sleepy suburb. All in all, I'd say I was very happy with Classic Mazda. The key selling points for me about Classic Mazda (beyond obviously the car and the price, which is a given) were, they were personable, relaxed and informative and, in particular, they didn't try to engage in any cheesy and off-putting pressure tactics (which would have backfired, had they tried!) It felt like a car dealership for grownups, rather than for showoffs and loudmouths. And that, I can assure you, is more than enough to keep me coming back! Highly recommended indeed. I just bought a 2020 Mazda 3 from Classic Mazda and was extremely happy with my purchase. My salesman was Patrick Lauriano and he did an excellent job helping me with the purchase of my car. Patrick was very sincere, and I never felt like I was in a "high pressure rushed into the sale" situation. This is the 3rd car I've purchased with the Classic group, and I could honestly say I've always had very good experiences. read more

I just signed a lease for a 2018 Mazda CX-5 AWD Grand Touring. This is the third time I've worked with Bryan Walker (he is so awesome). He is truly customer-centric and works to ensure you have a positive shopping experience. I worked with Evan to sign the paperwork and while I can appreciate professional persistence, I never felt pressure to add on to my lease. He explained the options and when I declined he moved on to printing the paperwork. Oh how I wish all transactions could be this easy. Don't hesitate, go to Classic Mazda in Mentor today! read more

Ethan was my salesman and it was a great experience. No pressure at all, and when they didn't have the car I was looking for they found it. Not only that, but he even followed me home so I could write my check out and drive my car home the day it arrived from Michigan! Everyone from Classic Mazda was fantastic from the sales manager who didn't try to overprice my new Mazda3 to the finance manager who didn't try to sell me on any unneeded extra packages. I will definitely buy again from Classic Mazda. read more

Like most people, buying a new car ranks pretty low on things I look forward to doing, right below a trip to the dentist and right above a funeral. I stopped at Classic Mazda after visiting three other dealerships including a Mazda dealership in Bedford. By the time I made my way through the doors at Classic Mazda I was already sick of the entire car buying experience and I was ready to just run my Jeep through the winter and look again in the Spring. I was then greeted by my salesman, Gary Wassel and I could already see the Classic difference. To say Gary went above and beyond the call of duty would be an understatement. First off, there were papers I needed to get signed and due to a family situation I had to go to Pennsylvania to make that happen, 4 hours away. Because of work I couldn't get there for a few weeks and Gary was more than happy to drive there for me to get everything I needed to be signed, signed. He. Drove. To. Pennsylvania. For me! I mean he literally spend an entire day driving to help me make this process easier. Gary was knowledgeable on every level, And when it came to Mazdas there wasn't a question I had that he didn't have the answer to. He explained in detail the differences between the models, the ins and outs of the electronics in each model and he worked with me to find a vehicle that made sense for my lifestyle. He wasn't trying to push me into what would make him the most money or upsell me any packages that weren't going to be useful for me, he just looked out for my best interests and I appreciated it. Mike, who is a manager was also very nice, laid back and helpful. He never hesitated when I asked him to take a vehicle over night and drive it for a full day before I made up my mind. Thanks to Gary I got the car I want, got what I wanted for my trade in, and got it for a price that was much better then the other guys. I had an amazing experience and I can't give these guys a higher recommendation. The next time I'm in the market for a car I'm only stopping at one place, Classic Mazda. read more

I got my car here about 3 years ago because they gave me the best quote via email. However, it went downhill from there since it was a rude and abrupt transaction, just so they could fulfill their yearly quota - which wasn't a big deal to me since I practically stole the car. However, coming back to the dealership to get my car fixed a few times was what really made me decide to never use this dealership again. It was a constant sales pitch which tends to get tiresome and again, all transactions were impersonal. They do a fine job mechanically, but personally, I always left feeling cheated out of my money somehow. read more

I worked with Cameron Mascella in the Mazda sales department on my new vehicle purchase and received excellent service every step of the way. Having thoroughly researched the vehicle I wanted to purchase (strengths, weaknesses, options etc.) Cameron was well prepared to field any questions, assuage any worries, and demonstrate the many capabilities of the vehicle. His work in conjunction with the sales department manager lead to a straightforward deal in which I could feel confident I was receiving what I wanted at a fair price. There are a literal half dozen Mazda dealerships closer to me than Classic, but customer reviews like these are what lead me there and I can now vouch for myself. read more

I've bought 2 cars from Classic Mazda in the past 3 years. I have nothing but great things to say about their Sales Department. Both of my vehicles were purchased from Phil Albert. The experience was simply fantastic; so good we brought two cars and we only went in for a look around. The salesman and manager were very professional with getting the exact model (color, options etc.) for very close to the price I requested. Through the years I have purchased over thirty cars and this Classic Mazda dealership definitely ranks in my top three. These guys don't try to hard sell or price gouge you like so many others do. When you leave their showroom you feel happy and excited about your new car purchase, the way you're supposed to feel! Too many times after negotiating you get the feeling that you've been conned, but not at Classic Mazda. I consider this a first rate and fair outfit and recommend Classic Mazda wholeheartedly. D. I have bought a car from Phil Albert before and he really understood my needs and my situation. I went back again after my lease was up and I firmly believe that he gave me the best price that he could. This is a review of the Classic Mazda service department. I have a Mazda CX9 and was having trouble with the headlight going on and off so I assumed it was an issue with the wire. I made an appointment to have it looked at. When I got there I was made to sign a sheet that I agreed to pay a minimal $100 "diagnostic" fee even though I already knew what was wrong! I asked if this fee would be applied to the repair and they said no. Approximately one HOUR after my scheduled appointment they finally pulled my car back and popped the hood. I gave them 5 minutes and then walked back to ask what they found. They said ,"we've been looking for you," Which was a lie because I was standing right inside the waiting room door. They told me it was the socket and wire part that would need changed but that they needed to order it in and quoted me an ADDITIONAL $200+! I went home and called autozone who had the part in stock for $8 and my husband changed it in 15 minutes. Seems to me these people are WAY overcharging. BEWARE! read more

I have never bought a new car before, and just did last night at this dealership. I felt no pressure to lease or buy, and was given lots of care, attention and choices as I weighed my options and looked at numbers. I was given all the information and space I needed to make the right decision for me, and was very impressed by the manager's kindness and patience, as well as the package he offered. I left with a great deal, a car that is beautiful and drives well, and an experience that was smooth, respectful and pleasant. Car buying is expensive and therefore frightening, and this manager and his team seem to understand that, and to give customers the care and time that they deserve--with no pressure to do something that is not right personally or financially. I am grateful that my first new car purchase was this humane! read more

My husband and I bought a Mazda today from Phil Albert. He was such a big help. My husband and I had not had the experience of buying a car since 2004. Phil was totally reliable and helpful. After all our questions were answered, he even went out to the car with us and helped us to set up our phone and explained everything to us about the car by having us do it.
