They were nice enough to assist me and go get the pairs that I wanted to try on. They were kind and courteous, and for that I give them a positive review. I didn't actually do business with them however, after reading some of the reviews here I chose to give a four star instead of five. I would say that treating all customers with kindness and courtesy, and validating their concerns while assisting them with great customer service will always be a five star review. It does matter when people feel like they have not been serviced correctly as you could see in the negative review rating. Sadly, some businesses overlook this, and treat it as a job rather than a passion.

I will however never purchase anything from Sunglass Hut anywhere. While in Cabo two weeks ago, I was with friends who wanted to go into the Luxury mall and get some new sunglasses. Sounded like fun, so I went in with them and purchased a pair of Ray Bans and a pair of Parada sunglasses. I had the sales clerk wrap up the Parada glasses and I wore the Ray Bans while I was in Cabo. I am now home and I decided to wear my Parada glasses. Low an behold, the left lens is scratched. Ugh, I called the store in Fairfield who carries Parada and a very rude girl told me to call the 800 number. I was on hold for 40 minutes and hung up..... I went on line to the chat assistance and the woman that responded told me: "Kristina R: I am very sorry that happened, however, scratches are not covered under warranty. If the glasses were scratched when you purchased them, the store would be responsible for replacement." Kinda hard to do when I bought them in CABO SAN LUCAS MEXICO and I live in Sacramento California! I called the store in Mexico, well my Spanish is vacation quality and their English is just about as good. Needless to say I now have an expensive pair of sunglasses with a scratched lens. I would have expected a little more assistance especially since I bought them out of the country regarding the scratch. I did not know they sold the display pieces and would have also thought when the sales person wiped and cleaned the glasses she would have said something about the scratch or got me a different pair that was not scratched. With all this in mind, I will NEVER purchase anything from Sunglass Hut and urge the reader to purchase with extreme caution as they do not stand behind their product and the consumer. I was told I can purchase a lens and have it replaced. Um why would I pay more to fix something I didn't do? No thank you, I am done with your business.

I went back twice to have the glasses adjusted and each time I was greeted with the kindest employees from the front desk to Lynn who was the last employee to assist me in adjusting my glasses. Lynn was extremely professional, kind and non-judgmental. She was so patient with me and her attitude really stood out. To have someone so kind meant a great deal, especially when I was so insecure about the glasses fitting right. Her adjustments did the trick and I am one happy customer. While we were there, we saw a sign for BOGO $60 off, but then learned that it also wasn't on all brands. Better signage is definitely needed to help customers to even know promotions exist & understand the details. I recommend that customers proactively ask a salesperson about specifics. There is a large & varied selection. We had the freedom to try on styles without the salesperson being overbearing. We ended up with 2 nice pairs of shades.

I've been coming here for at least 5 years, and normally it's been great--but my last two visits? Not so much. I ordered Rx sunglasses and didn't get the original lenses. Was told they don't do that, which confused me because I've been getting the original lenses along side my Rx lenses for the previous 3 sunglass orders. Most recently, when I went to pick up my glasses, they couldn't find the case. I got handed a generic one that didn't even fit properly. Ask for another one, and they tried to hand me a soft sided case. And a lens wipe? Nope. "We don't do that anymore," I was told. The office used to give you a bag, a small bottle of lens cleaner, and a fresh lens wipe-felt like a little gift each time. Not sure if it's tariffs or what, but something's changed.
