Insanely priced. My $300 Ray Bans lens broke while in the case within a month of purchaseread more

Let me start this with I was in Cabo San Lucas at the mall on the Marina when I purchased my Parada…read moresunglasses. Not at the Sunrise Location.... I will however never purchase anything from Sunglass Hut anywhere. While in Cabo two weeks ago, I was with friends who wanted to go into the Luxury mall and get some new sunglasses. Sounded like fun, so I went in with them and purchased a pair of Ray Bans and a pair of Parada sunglasses. I had the sales clerk wrap up the Parada glasses and I wore the Ray Bans while I was in Cabo. I am now home and I decided to wear my Parada glasses. Low an behold, the left lens is scratched. Ugh, I called the store in Fairfield who carries Parada and a very rude girl told me to call the 800 number. I was on hold for 40 minutes and hung up..... I went on line to the chat assistance and the woman that responded told me: "Kristina R: I am very sorry that happened, however, scratches are not covered under warranty. If the glasses were scratched when you purchased them, the store would be responsible for replacement." Kinda hard to do when I bought them in CABO SAN LUCAS MEXICO and I live in Sacramento California! I called the store in Mexico, well my Spanish is vacation quality and their English is just about as good. Needless to say I now have an expensive pair of sunglasses with a scratched lens. I would have expected a little more assistance especially since I bought them out of the country regarding the scratch. I did not know they sold the display pieces and would have also thought when the sales person wiped and cleaned the glasses she would have said something about the scratch or got me a different pair that was not scratched. With all this in mind, I will NEVER purchase anything from Sunglass Hut and urge the reader to purchase with extreme caution as they do not stand behind their product and the consumer. I was told I can purchase a lens and have it replaced. Um why would I pay more to fix something I didn't do? No thank you, I am done with your business.

The store was clean & organized with accessible mirrors. We were shown their large touch screen program to help us narrow down some good options for our faces. Then it was off to the walls to try on pairs. We inquired about deals & were told they had a Friday to Sunday weekend BOGO 50% off deal, but not on all brands. While we were there, we saw a sign for BOGO $60 off, but then learned that it also wasn't on all brands. Better signage is definitely needed to help customers to even know promotions exist & understand the details. I recommend that customers proactively ask a salesperson about specifics. There is a large & varied selection. We had the freedom to try on styles without the salesperson being overbearing. We ended up with 2 nice pairs of shades.

This one has staff that are not only uneducated in their warranties, but also incredibly disrespectful and rude to their customer base. The selection is much smaller and comparison to what you're getting in the mall, and frankly, they don't uphold the same warranties that the manufacturer will hold. So either get them from the manufacturer or get them from a different reputable source.

The receptionist could care less being there, the doctor didn't listen when I kept saying everything was blurry on my bi- focal (i don't have any issues seeing up close) and even suggested to me I shouldn't use my phone as much because it's just me not adjusting to her prescription. I have a job that requires use of a cell phone, text messages, and emails. That response was a very out-of-touch response. During the exam, she kept asking me which slide was clearer but nothing was changing in the machine. When I commented I can't tell the difference, she got agitated with me and just kept repeating, slide 1 or 2. i have had exams in the past, and something always clicks in the machine so it's clear difference between slides but nothing was happening with this machine. I finally did my best to answer but I think I ended up undermining myself. I was then fitted with a contact lens, given a couple of samples but then told, save the last one for the doctor. So I could wear them 3 days to see if they worked. It gave me a terrible headache and only figured out the adjustment period is actually three weeks (AI taught me that, not the doctor). I paid $150 in contact exam, fitting, and whatever else fees and none of that was discussed with me ahead of time. When I called back to ask questions I was brushed off being told the doctor will explain that to you next time. I don't usually take time to write reviews because I don't honestly think these companies care. I am just so tired Of having to over-advocate for myself every time I go to a doctor because their boredom/arrogance keeps getting in the way.
