I'm sorry about everyone's negative experience here, however my experience was a positive one. I came in basically to try on several pairs that I had researched because I was ordering my glasses with a prescription from another business. They were nice enough to assist me and go get the pairs that I wanted to try on. They were kind and courteous, and for that I give them a positive review. I didn't actually do business with them however, after reading some of the reviews here I chose to give a four star instead of five. I would say that treating all customers with kindness and courtesy, and validating their concerns while assisting them with great customer service will always be a five star review. It does matter when people feel like they have not been serviced correctly as you could see in the negative review rating. Zero stars. They wouldn't take a return on sunglasses that were NEVER worn. Instead they said there was a small scratch and couldn't take it back because of that. Again, they were NEVER worn. It was all still sealed up from when we made the purchase not even a few days ago. They are the ones who opened it. The manager is a shady business man. My wife brought a pair of $200 Oakley's here. The salesperson was very helpful. There were so many to choose from. Also explained the warranty and said could exchange if wasn't the right pair. She wore it 3 times and decided wasn't the right one for the. The frame was shorter than her other one. When love right or left she would be blocked by the frame. One reason she made the purchase was because he said could exchange. When we went to exchange the Mgr said we couldn't because there's a scratch. He showed it to me but I couldn't see any. He brought a flashlight and said,"there ". It looked like a tiny bit of hair/dust. We will never buy from Sunglasses Hut again and tell our acquaintances about our sad experience. They answered my questions, didn't bother me, and were professional with other customers and me) CON: - before coming to this store, I saw previous Yelp reviews mentioning being double charged for one transaction because the employee swiped their credit card twice. - while I was here, there were 2 other customers before me. In both transactions, the employee indicated that the machine didn't read their card. With customer (a couple) #1, the employee swiped their cards twice. Customer #2 (a lady) allowed the employee to swipe two different cards. VERDICT: It is very unlikely for two customers today and then Yelp reviews being charged twice having faulty credit cards. I've come to a conclusion. Either: - The credit card machine is faulty - The employee is being deceptive I brought cash with me knowing the above information, so I was fine. But, I wouldn't want anyone to be double charged for one pair of sunglasses. If I could I'd give a huge zero- for the manager, customer service and all! I bought a Ray ban online and supposed to pick it up. It wasn't as I expected so I cancelled it from the MANAGER at the front and purchased another one. I asked for the confirmation and she said I'd get it by the end of the day. Nope- I got nothing. After 9 business day today, she still has no answer. COVID is delaying my refund according to her! Not to forget few calls in between and I was said to wait 3 , then 5 and now lord knows how many more business days. When I asked for at least to send me a email or a picture of cancelled confirmation via her work email- she said she can't and feels uncomfortable. I wonder what she uses her work email for! Sunglass hut charged me 2x. I went to the store I bought them from to try to fix the problem. The manager told me, we don't take care of that you need to call our customer service. I called the phone number I was given and they said the store should help you with that. I called the store. They told me to dispute it with my bank. I am beyond mad. So now I have to wait 10 days while my bank is investigating. I think they have horrible customer service. I returned my glasses to the closest sunglass hut and the manager asked why are you returning these glasses? I told him and he told me I was mistaken and the 2x charge would come off. Best service ever! Right when I opened the door the store smell so good; so fruity. I was greeted by Alex and he was very nice and able to show me where the Gucci section was. Later he said if I needed help I can ask him or Bryan which was kind. Bryan was thoughtful of reaching the sunglass for me, loved that! I've been billed twice for one pair of glasses! Looking over the reviews here I noticed that I'm not the only one. They tried to tell me that their checkout system lost power, but didn't charge me. It clearly did. I can't believe they are scamming people like this. The manager told us to come back if the charge went through, and now he's saying he can't do anything about it. The customer service number isn't helpful because they just disconnect you after routing you to the wrong location. I'm going to file a complaint with BBB! read more

My boyfriend and I came in to get a pair of sun glasses each and were immediately greater by Andrew with a big smile. My boyfriend has had trouble finding sunglasses that fit so Andrew took the time to show him numerous pairs that he thought would work and it was a success. He also helped me find the right pair and got us all checked out. I was blown away by Andrew's wonderful customer service and positive attitude even when there were many customers in the store at once and he was the only worker. Went in today looking to purchase some Ray Bans and the young lady that was working tonight's shift was pretty much being no help. I asked if she was able to know if there a was a way to find out if a specific color of Round Ray Bans came in a different width. She kept pointing me to the "shop smart" device. I reiterated if she could look up the Round style in blue lenses came in a different width, she then said i can't help if you do not know which blue. I knew the type of attitude she was giving me as I work retail as well, so it was no surprise she just didn't want to help. I have been many time time in Sunglass Hut in Vacaville outlet and the service is really good but the one in Folsom completely the opposite. Recently I went to check some glasses and there was this lady named Jacky who was really mean and whenever you want to try a pair she is standing next to me waiting to take the glasses back and when my son wanted to try a pair she was telling him don't touch those they are not for playing, so I just gave her the glasses and told her forget it. I would have given this place 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for my second visit. My first visit was great. But when I went home I changed my mind and want to exchange the pair I had for another pair I tried on. This time I went with my kids who are below the age of 5. They were calm for the first few minutes. I tried to make it a quick exchange. If you have kids you know how hard it can be to juggle them and keep them entertained. One of the staff, I cannot remember her name, but she was a blonde Caucasian lady, ended up taking the hand of one of my kids and said to stop touching things. I wish I said something but I was so mortified that I didn't. It's already hard as a mom to find time for yourself and enjoy some shopping. Sometimes you don't have the option but to take your kids with you. I don't think she understood that and how a kid isn't going to just stay still and watch their mom. It's one thing to ask me ask me as the adult to talk to my kids (which I did!) but to put your hands on my kid is another thing! read more

WOW. I usually never go to these kinds of places. I've never specifically shopped for designer sunglasses before, and this was a perfect first experience for me. My fiancé is in the military, and was looking for a very specific kind of sun glasses that would be okay to where out on the flight line. We found some Oakley's on sale for a great price, they were in absolute perfect condition. We then decided to get a case to go with it. Unfortunately the case that we wanted was unmarked. Upon checkout, we asked if there were any type of military discount. The lady kindly told us that they didn't have anything like that. We asked for a price check on the glasses case, and they came up to 25 dollars. We had them take it off of the bill, and when we did, the lady working next to her, leaned over and entered a discount. We got the case for just $5!! We were very grateful. Although they didn't offer any type of military discount, they still gave us a VERY generous discount. Stopped in to have my sunglasses nose piece fixed. The sales lady was very unpleasant. Her first words were "we don't do that, call the company". I replied, I purchased these here and the person prior to you fixed them for me. She then replied, "well, we don't, not sure how you got them fixed previously". She huffed and puffed and was very perturbed that I interrupted her. (I was in around 10:30am on Tuesday 1/8/19. I believe her name was Elon) on a side note, she should have asked if I had interest in a new pair. I believe the glasses I own were about $300 at time of purchase. My wife and I have purchased many pairs of high end sunglaasses at Suglass Hut, including Revo Maui Jim and Serengetti. Imagine my response when we stopped by the store in the Folsom Outlet Mall this last weekend to buy my wife another pair of sunglasses. While we were browsing, we requested they replace a screw in her current pair that fell out...they refused, saying they were too busy....they weren't too busy to sell us a pair though.....
