Nice place in the Folsom Palladio. Great service, beautiful choices of frames... designer or value. Staff very helpful ( Heather) Parking sucks especially for handicapped read more

This was the worse eye exam by far EVER! Basically I was given my eye prescription by the tech. Ophthalmologist did nothing. I sat forever waiting for the second half of my exam and it was literally 5 mins. I did no exam. I was asked questions , the ophthalmologist handed me a card to read and said ok . No other testing . He showed me a picture of my retina that the tech took . He told me I had to get my glasses from Lens crafters because no other eyeglass place would know what to give me ?!?!? I wasted $123.95! Good new the line will be shorter because I will never go back nor will I buy any glasses from lens crafters . read more

I had scheduled an appointment with the ophthalmologist 6 months prior to my Friday morning appointment. I had received an email from LensCrafters confirming my appointment two days prior. I took off work to make my 10:00 am appointment. Upon arriving on time I was greeted by a tall blond woman with glasses. I told her I was there for my appointment. She stated to me that there was no ophthalmologist working that day. I told her that I had an appointment. She responded in a very snarky manner with the exact same words that she had previously stated that there was no ophthalmologist on site. I clarified that I had an appointment. She stated that I was left a message the day prior to cancel the appointment. I told her that I had not received a call or message canceling the appointment and ask why I did not receive an email cancelling the appointment if I had received an email confirming it. She again in a very snarky manner repeated that I had received a message. I produced my phone and asked what number the call had come from. I then showed all my incoming calls proving I had not received a message and asked why an email had not been sent. She then stated that I SHOULD have received a message and she had been gone for 2 days and didn't know what happened. I reminded her she stated that I DID receive a message. Then she tried to place a Jedi mind trick on me and insist that she had always stated that she had said I SHOULD have received a message. Bottom line: 1) the ophthalmologist blew off my appointment 2) I never received a cancellation notice despite receiving a confirmation 2 days prior 3) upon arrival the tall blond woman was snaky, impatient and interrupted me I would not recommend this place if you want professionalism and good customer service. read more

I did just have a follow up phone call with them and spoke with heather. She was incredibly helpful this time and was able to let me know what the delay was and that they are still working on finding contact lenses that will fit my prescription. I am incredibly appreciative for this and see it is a sign of them seeing feedback, and taking action to rectify. This is something you don't often see in businesses. read more

First time and last time...well, I can't call myself a customer because I never got the eye exam or the glasses. I had an appointment this evening for 4:40pm, I even got off of work early to accommodate. They sent me at least 4 messages to confirm my appointment, even a call threatening to give my spot away if I didn't immediately return their call even though I had confirmed through text twice. I arrived there for my appointment early and waited and waited until 40 minutes had gone by the actual appointment time. I asked one of the staff if they charge if you leave, because my wife works nights and she was waiting for me to come home so I could watch our kid. They said no and then told me there were still 2 more people ahead of me. I had already waited 40 minutes beyond the appointment time, then I would be waiting on 2 more people first???? They close at 600pm meaning that I wouldn't receive any help with the frames that I had selected. I left and I will never bother to come back. What a first impression for a first time customer and patient. I left work early for this appointment and you completely wasted my time. I am looking at other reviews (something that I should have done before I made the appointment) and I am surprised you have any customers at all. Disgusted. Folsom area people do not let them waste your time!!!! read more

Micro-agressors, and I'm exhausted! I've been using Lenscrafters for at least 10 years. Big capitalism wasn't my first choice but my employer offered much better insurance within the network they're in. I find that they offer a pretty average selection of high-end frames. Some years I feel just okay with my selections and others I feel fabulous. If you find frames from a brand they carry, they'll order them for you if they aren't in their stock already. This year I'd feel more fabulous if the frames I'd selected weren't so heavy and my lenses weren't as thick. They've been problematic. The eye doctor at Arden managed to correct me to 20/20. Chef's kiss. This is why I didn't want to delay getting my prescription filled. Still within my 30-day return period, I've decided to shop other locations and ended up here at my least favorite location again in Folsom. This location inflicts micro-aggressions towards the customers of their choice. I've still not found the right frames & have been searching diligently, so I have plenty of research data to prove that at no other location are you asked to prove your reason for being there by providing your personally identifiable info (PII) soon after you're greeted by the sales associate. "Can I just get your number to pull up your file?" I would not have subjected myself to this if I didn't feel it necessary, but I genuinely may have needed to use my return warranty. The associate provided me with a useful adjustment, but there is no way, and I mean NO WAY that you will convince me that them asking me my PII is a customer service practice extended to everyone. Arden doesn't do it (they've got issues too) and Roseville doesn't do it (they provided me an adjustment service with no PII AT ALL). I'll be testing Citrus Heights soon and may report back, but after 10+ years I haven't experienced this anywhere else. read more

I bought a $800 pair of prescription glasses last year. The lenses are awful! They always fog up and now the film on the lens is starting to come off. I recently visited the beach and now the lenses have salt water stains on them which do not want to come off. Overpriced and very low quality. First and last time I will buy anything from them. read more

The customer service we received from Violet was unmatched! She was kind and helpful with our situation, and fixed our glasses up with no problems. I can't wait to buy another pair from her again :) read more

Huge thanks to the Asian technician who quickly and expertly repaired my glasses. Excellent service!

Wow. I struggle where to begin. I have always been a patient of the optometrist here. I LOVED the now retired one. I LOVE his replacement. Last year I went to a competitor via Telehealth at a local location and the prescription was so wrong I never used it once. This optometrist at LensCrafters honestly picked up on my struggle to read a line. How many can you say do that? I don't until now. I am so pleased. I won't go elsewhere. They even compared programs to what would be cheapest for ME. Again I am so pleased. I could not recommend a better place. They're a true gem. read more

Did a quick "walk-in" to have my new glasses adjusted for a better fit. Received great support from Margot. She quickly helped me re-align then new glasses for a better fit! :-) read more

I had a great experience at LensCrafters in Folsom thanks to Joshua. He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and helped me pick out two pairs of glasses that I love. He made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Joshua if you visit! read more

This store is attractive and has a large selection of frames. I was assisted by Derek, who was very familiar with their inventory quickly brought me numerous pairs to try on based on the style that I showed him. LensCrafters uses an iPad to take digital measurements (that are incredibly more accurate than someone marking the glass with a felt-tip pen) for progressive lenses. The result is far superior to other places I used to get glasses from. When there was a glitch with my vision insurance, Derek kept trying for three days and was able to fulfill my order with ease. I highly recommend this store and LensCrafters in general. read more

Joshua and Jack were so helpful in assisting me in selecting the right frame. I asked for their opinions on color, size and shape. I'm thrilled with my glasses. They explained the options in lenses and I can see the best out of these. Both Joshua and Jack are professional, helpful and patient. Thank you both! read more

I had the best visit at this location- Josh was extremely helpful (even when I originally didn't even know what I wanted!) He was knowledgeable and helped me pick out glasses that fit my style perfectly. Can't say enough good things about the customer service here- made me feel comfortable the whole visit. read more

This LensCrafters store is a fantastic. I went into have some glasses fixed and Violets service was FIVE STARS. I was so surprised they did not charge me to fix my temple piece and tighten some of my glasses. Also the selection of frames and sunglasses is great and will definitely go back to have some readers made and get a new pair of sunglasses. All the people that work there were so kind too!! read more

Josh was beyond helpful in my search for frames. I enjoyed the selection and excellent customer service.

I went in for an eye exam with Dr. John Alto, and I had an amazing experience as a new client! (I wasn't really at the actual LensCrafters/store section.) Dr. Alto is very knowledgeable, personable, and gave recommendations. Maria was so sweet and took the time to figure out my insurance. Smooth experience, and I was able to get everything I needed done! read more

Great service. They helped me install lenses into a replacement frame I had purchased online. Thank You!

You'll know you're getting old when you need to visit this place annually! But it's a great place to have your eyes seen to. The price is a bit stiff, but with the insurance biting most of the cost, who am I to complain. Service is great! The staff will greet you and ask you if you need help. You may try to come as a walk-in, but better if you set an appointment beforehand. The staff are knowledgeable...and would explain the process of your eye examination every step of the way...including the video game of spot-the-dots! I jest... The doctor is pretty thorough! And she answers any or all questions you may have regarding your eyesight. My family has had a history of cataracts, and the doctor automatically checks me for that, among other things. Right now, I'm waiting on my new pair of glasses, so everyone is pretty! When I get my glasses, I don't know if that would still hold true... read more

Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend, the entire team were outstanding. Eye exam and glasses.

Made a prescription glasses purchase through Oakley.com and needed to get some adjustments done and they recommended LensCrafter. I stopped by and they took good care of my glasses and I was in and out of the store in about 10 minutes. Great to know that if I need anything else for my glasses I can stop here! read more

I received excellent customer service here at the store today. I brought in a pair of sunglasses that had a broken nose guard on them and they were very expensive so I was trying to get them fixed. I took them into Sunglass Hut as well as Costco and neither of them were able to help me but Costco recommended I try LensCrafters. I went there and they went out of their way to fix my sunglasses completely free of charge. They spent considerable time and effort fixing my glasses and went out of their way to help me. I received excellent customer service there today and I very much appreciate it. I will buy all my sunglasses there from now on read more

Don't buy glasses here, very poor quality!! found both sides of the lenses' coatings have begun peeling off only 4 months later. used only microfiber cloth to clean, the lenses were advertised as "scratch resistant" as well, what a fking joke. store refused to cover under warranty. will never buy any glasses from Lenscrafters ever again. read more

The earpiece fell off my old pair of glasses and the screw was stripped. The very friendly staff said they would take a look and see what they could. They got my glasses fixEd up like new! A real life saver. read more

Many Thanks to the entire team at LensCrafters Palladio! I am a retired optician so I know excellent professional eye care when I experience it. With a history of retinal detachment in one eye and retinal tears in the other (both successfully repaired years ago) along with cataract surgery and chronic dry eye, I very much the appreciate the skill, concern, and professionalism of Dr. Ellen Park. I came to this office in April of this year having recently relocated from the Bay Area. I needed an exam and prescription change as well as a new pair of trendy good looking frames. I got it all taken care of here. Just this past week I needed another exam as I was experiencing eye discomfort and fluctuating vision changes. Dr. Park wisely advised a dilated exam and retinal photos. She diagnosed my condition and advised me to use an OTC eye lubricant ointment at night and return for a recheck in 3 days to see the results. The lubricant was doing its job and my new lens prescription was finalized. I left my frames for (progressive ) lens replacement, had my reading glasses updated in an hour and saw some snazzy Polo Ralph Lauren sunglass frames that would be a great replacement for my worn out 10 year old Coach frames. I returned today to pick up my regular frames and my new sunglasses. I am over the moon happy with both my new improved lens prescription and how I look (and feel) in my new polarized sunglasses! read more

I was in dire need of glasses. I was treated so rudely by the man who works here. He's the only male I've seen here upon multiple visits. He was always helpful and courteous. But over the lockdown he treated me like dirt. I was desperate. He said he wouldn't fix my glasses for me unless I have a current eye exam. I had the lenses and wanted to buy the frames from there but he insisted OVER QUARANTINE that I had to get a new eye exam. I didn't feel the risk was worth it. So for that reason, I spent the entire quarantine using cheap readers because of this loser. I'm not sure what happened to him - he used to be professional. I will never forget how rudely he treated me during a great time of need. It's a shame because this was my store. I doubt I'll ever return to this shop of arrogant losers who act like they actually do something worthwhile for us, the customer. So far, you have not succeeded. read more

It's been a very long since I've received good quality service provided with a smile, and personalized care as Sue did here at Lens Crafters. I returned buying a 2nd pair! I understand the optometry business as I thrived working as an optometric assistant, and as a State Licensed ophthalmology surgical nurse. It"s a rewarding career, but a stressful industry and quality care & quality lens counts, both Sue and Lens Crafters made my experiences worthwhile and enjoyable! read more

It's been a tough year for businesses and it's endearing to see the staff be so diligent and keep the safety measures in place. Brandon was very helpful and ensured we got the best deal from our insurance. We got the glasses the same day (within 15 minutes of selecting them) which has never happened! I don't know why this place has such low reviews..I loved everything here , the collection, the deals and the staff. read more

Train Wreck! Went in for a routine eye exam. The optometrist was correct in recommending I see a specialist for an additional procedure. When my records were forwarded to the specialist, they were concerned about tests that had been done at this site. It appeared I could have a very serious medical condition. I had to be retested at my expense at the new office. Being tested on better equipment, with competent operators, it was shown that I had no serious medical condition. Thanks LensCrafters, I got to worry about that for six weeks! But wait there's more. The office repeatedly sent me wrong prescriptions for my contact lenses. It took three times and several weeks before they got the right paperwork to me. Each time, I was the one that caught the mistake. Finally they sent me a follow-up letter wanting to know why I hadn't gone to my referral. Really! I had seen them and told them in person where I was going. No confidence that they can test, track or manage anything. read more

Fixed my daughters glasses for free! Amazing customer service, we will most definitely be coming back here.

I was on my way to an appointment with eyeglass world when they called me and canceled my appointment , I had taken the day off and it's over an hour drive to get there I called LensCrafters and the girl who answered squeezed me in and I left with one pair of glasses and they shipped me the other pair every one there was super nice and very helpful from beginning to end read more

Lousy customer service. I have done biz with these guys before and its always uneven. This time we received a coupon and went to get a new pair of glasses. The people their ignored us and other customers who walked in. Management - Did you ever teach your people to at least acknowledge a customer and say "be with you in a few moments"? This crew of personnel did not even look up. Further, more than a few people experienced this and simply walked out as we did. LensCrafters, you charge premium prices for premium products, so therefore you should have premium service. Instead, these guys looked like they worked for TSA or recruited straight out of Walmart. If you want lousy service, want to be left alone, and pay high prices this is your place. The only unfortunate thing is they really do have some products that no one else has and pretty good quality items. Unfortunately, all zeroed out by a bad shopping experience. You will get better service at Costco - at least they don't ignore you there. read more

I had the most horrible experience. DO NOT ask for store pick up at this store. I had ordered sunglasses on Ray-Ban online and sent for a store pick up at Lenscrafters. The box was labeled well with my name and phone number. Yet, the folks here at Lenscrafters store just ripped opened the box and my pieces were left open on trays with whole lot of fingerprints and smudges. The store manager justified saying they mistook it to be their inventory. How does inventory to the store come with a customer's name and phone number on the box? If you cannot tell the diff, take yourselves off of the list on the Ray-Ban website for store pickup. Horrible customer service! read more

I bought bvlgari glasses with crystals about 1 1/2 years ago. The temple end fell off. they cost me about $550. My husband called the store and was told I should come in and they would see what they could do. I was greeted by a woman saying "are you sure you bought them here". I said of course I would not be here unless I bought the glasses here. She then proceeded to tell me they get only the full glasses not parts and there was nothing they could do to help. I asked her if she was telling me that nowhere in the world could there be another temple (this little tiny piece that goes over your ear). She shrugged. I then asked "are you telling me then than I should just throw these glasses away?". She stated to me - Sorry I can't help you. I'm sorry but that is about the worse customer service I've seen ever. I had heard bad things about this place but I really wanted these particular glasses. Will never go here again. read more

wow great customer service and friendly staff. I bought my prescription sunglasses here and they had them ready the next day. Not only that, because it is a national chain, it doesn't matter where I am in the country, if I have an issue with my glasses or contacts and I can go to any lenscrafters and they will have my information on file. Stopped by one day because my friend sat on my brand new sunglasses, and they fixed them on the spot in about 2 minutes, no charge, and with a smile. Plus its in a really nice shopping area. Normally my first choice would not be a chain, but these guys are great. read more

Unfortunately I have to break up with LensCrafters. I have always gone to there when I lost my glasses, and they always came through within the hour. However, recently while I was waiting for my glasses, I opened a box of napkins because I thought they were for customers to use. They were not. The woman who assisted me rudely questioned if I was buying them, and proceeded to charge me $12 along with my glasses. They couldn't let a mistake happen in a place that charges hundreds of dollars for one pair of glasses. LensCrafters got their $12, but they lost a $400 sale and a customer for life. read more
