I was having trouble with the way my glasses were sitting on my face so I went into LensCrafters in the Palladio just to ask a few questions. I told them my concerns and helped me without any hesitation. I did not even get my eye exam there, or buy my glasses from them. They all were so so friendly! My glasses are comfortable to wear after they adjusted them. The main person that helped me was Becky, she was fantastic! But everyone there were so kind. They do not honor their product!! 16 months ago I spent almost $500 which was what my insurance did not cover on a pair of progressive eye glasses (aka bifocals) that cost a total of $1650. This was back in December 2016. 6 months later I noticed several spots in the lenses. It turned out the coating was coming undone. I took the glasses back and they replaced the lenses as they were still under warranty and they recognized this is a factory issue. In February of 2018 I went back the second time with the same issue. Again, the coating was coming apart. This time the warranty expired and I was told there was nothing they could do for me. In my opinion this is just very bad customer service. If it happened to me it will happen to someone else. Good luck if you decide to use them. read more

I showed the staff my email confirmation I received only days ago, they checked the system, and there I was, in their calendar, 3pm-4pm. I've never been stood up by an optometrist before. read more

EXPENSIVE if you dont have insurance :( but the cost of seeing was worth it! they have the best technology there. they were also very helpful and patient with me while I was debating between pairs of glasses. they have such a wide selection and the fact that they were able to have my glasses done the same day was just beyond me. im finally able to see the world the way it really is now, after all these year of adjusting with my blurry vision and dangerously driving on the roads squinting it wasnt very safe.. so i am glad i came here when i did. thank you so much for my new specs! i love tiffanys and im happy you guys carry it :) read more

Worst glasses experience ever. My wife and I found frames that we both loved, the staff was warm and friendly, and I loved the optometrist there. Unfortunately, the lenses, obviously the most important part, were awful. My left eye was crystal clear and I was seeing double out of the right. Sure, sometimes there's a problem with the manufacturing and you get a defect. It's the first time in 8 years of wearing glasses it's happened and there's a first for everything so I go back and they re-examine me and change the prescription accordingly. I'm seeing better than ever on the doctor's chair. I'm told it will be 60-90 minutes. I bring my wife's glasses home and the lenses are twice the thickness of her current glasses from Warby Parker and they made her dizzy. Needless to say, she wasn't about to have coke bottle glasses. Their justification was that they are plastic and thicker than if she got polycarbonate lenses. Her current glasses are plastic as well and don't have that issue. 2.5 hours go by and I finally call because I hadn't heard anything. They were ready so I go and try them on. The right eye is worse than before. This was my fourth trip in 2 days driving 20 miles each way and they suggested I see another of their doctors. Keep in mind I was seeing perfectly with the prescription on the machine. I said no thank you and got a refund. We will not be back nor will we ever recommend them. The people were wonderful, unfortunately for whatever reason, they couldn't make my right lens correctly. read more

As I live in Cameron Park I was pleased when this branch opened recently, so I don't have to drive all the way to Sunrise any more. I've really had only 2 experiences with the folks there but they were so positive that I thought I should post about them. Neither was exceptional in terms of what happened; the first was just an annual checkup and contact lens renewal and the second which was just yesterday involved a simple (but vital) repair to broken frames. I just thought it worth saying that the staff has been very helpful and courteous on both occasions and the results have been completely satisfactory, the repair job being completed in about 30 minutes which was really great. read more

Bought two pair of progressive glasses costing several hundred dollars. Glasses gave me blurry vision and headaches. Thought I was given a bad prescription from the doctor. At my next doctor appointment the doctor checked the glasses. Glasses were fabricated incorrectly; focal point of the glasses was in the corner tip of the lenses. Completely clustered up fabrication that LC refused to fix when I brought the glasses back. $800+ on wasted glasses due to Lens Crafters in Folsom, CA. read more

I have to say that between the visit to the optometrist (Dr. Park), the service I received from Anthony (the head of the actual lab), and the courteous nature of the service staff, this was the easiest and most positive experience that I've ever had getting my eyes checked and getting a couple of pairs of glass and contacts. Dr. Park was very professional and courteous. She instilled in me the feeling that she really knows what she's doing and I have confirmed those feelings with nice, crisp vision due to her prescriptions. And I want to say that I have never received service from an eye-care provider like I received from Anthony and I've been wearing glasses for 30 years. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of eye glasses and lenses and since I have a stronger prescription than is probably average, I was told that I would have to wait 7 to 10 days to get my new glasses due to them having to order lenses. I accepted that and was later surprised to find that Anthony took the initiative to locate the lenses locally after I left so that I could be in new glasses the next day. Kudos to you Anthony for going the extra mile when you didn't have to. read more

Customer service is awful here. Came in and stood there and stood there and stood there to get ignored for a good 15min. Stared at staff and not one of the 5 I saw looked over to say hello or acknowledge me in any way. Seriously terrible. While it is a nice office inside everything else sucks. The older lady helping me was just not with it, it's like she didn't know how to perform her job. Got a pricey pair of sunglasses and she didn't even know how to input it correctly in the computer and even worse didn't even know how to throughly clean them. She was very slow moving and the process took a ridiculous amount of time. The glasses were sent back 5 times to get cleaned. Geez is it that hard?!? I wouldn't come back here again, even now my glasses are loose fitting and I am disappointed, I plan on bringing them into another location to get some help with them. Appointment was at 3pm. Showed up early at 2:30pm to fill out forms and look around for frames. I waited patiently, 3:30pm come I wasn't yet seen for my exam. Told the Asian lady to go ahead and cancel my appointment. She then want to tell me and say she'll take me in right now for the exam. No thanks! Took my service to galleria lens crafter. I'd give them zero stars if I could. The first time I went in was right after they opened, the staff then was very helpful, found the sunglass frames I wanted at a sunglass hut and ordered them for me and filled the prescription. I also wanted a pair of Ray Ban aviators, but they didn't carry the size I needed, the manager at the time said she would honor the 40% discount on the lens if I found a pair (anywhere). I found a pair and went back in to have my prescription put in, the manager I spoke to was no longer there, instead I got some ole hag who jumped to say NO! That they wouldn't honor the sale which is currently going on. She said that offer had to be in notes under my account, which it wasn't. My husband was with me and could vouch for the offer when it was made to me. Let's face it even at the sale price they are over priced for the lens, they just mark up the frames and the lens when it's on a so called sale and they are still making money, lots of it. After the customer NO service I received I told the bitch "I'll take my business elsewhere". I was just appalled at her nasty attitude, she should be fired! She works retail, if you get off treating people like that then go work for the government where that type of shitty I hate the world attitude is acceptable. They won't be making any more money off of me. Costco offers much better pricing on prescription glasses even if you bring in your own frames it's still cheaper then rip off Lenscrafters. They just don't do Ray Ban frames for some reason, bummer. read more

Just had a great experience. Yesterday arrived for a 2:40PM appointment a little early. Was able to complete paperwork pronto, did exams, picked out glasses [2 pair] no problems. Everyone was pleasant, courteous and timely. Dr. ELLEN PARK was wonderful. She was extremely thorough and pleasant. Office people SAL and SAMI were also extremely helpful and pleasant, helping me get two great pair of glasses. Get this I was able to pick up the glasses at 6PM. Thanks SAMI. First used LensCrafters in maybe 2000 and they were good. Switched to Stanton thinking maybe get a better price. Big mistake. Visit yesterday makes me LensCrafters customer ALWAYS. Please look at your options for eye glasses. Sale options are not valid if you have insurance - even when insurance is minimal. Prices here are astronomical!!!! Standard vision options are poor, causing the need for expensive upgrades. I am done with this Corporation. It's not worth the supposed convenience. Don't put up with these practices! I went to another local option and got such good service, paid less than half what Lens Crafters was going to charge and feel I got much more quality!!! Even though I have to wait for my glasses. My 3 kids and I walked in and there was about 4 or 5 employees. Only one person made eye contact and said hi. The rest pretended like we were invisible. We walked towards the kids glasses because that's what we were looking for. After about 15 min of having my 6 year old try on glasses, I asked if someone could help us. A young female reluctantly helped and made it very clear she would rather stay put in her chair. We asked about transferring my daughters prescription and how we do that. We have only used Costco for her and she has been in glasses since she was 1, so trying a new place was new for me and I wasn't sure how it worked. The girl (I don't know her name because she never even introduced herself or gave a card, red flag #1) asked if we had the actual paper prescription with us.......ummmm, I wouldn't be asking how to transfer the prescription if I had the paper!?!?!?! She told me to get the paper or have Costco fax it to them tomorrow and then she could help me....I kindly asked if she could get my order started since my 6 year old daughter had already tried on and picked out glasses and I could have the doctor or Costco fax them tomorrow the rx. She pretty much said no until another worker told her she could do it. She was not happy she actually had to work. So another 15 min of her asking me personal info for my insurance goes by and the system doesn't verify me and said she needed to call. She then has the nerve to ask if I was sure I had insurance. That's when I decided I'm done with this place. You have to be kidding me...."are you sure you have insurance?" Wow, just wow. I told her I will stick with Costco since they have all my info and walked out. What a waste of almost an hour. Good luck LensCrafters!
