The space itself is cute and inviting, and it immediately put me at ease. Dr. Snow uses all the latest equipment, and my exam was very thorough. She is knowledgeable, kind, and caring--truly one of the best doctors I've been to. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Very disappointing experience getting new glasses. The first time the glasses arrived, they didn't have the photochromic lenses I had requested. The staff insisted that I hadn't asked for photochromic, but I had. Their mistake, but was told it was mine. The original glasses were returned with the case that they came with, but when the replacements arrived, was told that I couldn't get a case and was just offered a slipcase. Why? Dr O'Neill was great, but not at all impressed by the office staff. The whole experience has left a bad taste. read more

It was her first time to this office and I must say that Dr. Snow is a very warm, compassionate, organized, smart, cheerful, and caring professional. I like the doctors at Roseville Optometry but the office staff is far from being professional. If you call and leave a message, you will never hear from them. If you request a response from them, email or text, you will never hear from them. When I give them my insurance (a very common carrier), they could not tell me what type of coverage I have; they told me to call and find out myself. I never had an office treat me as a customer in that way, Costco looked up my insurance coverage in 5 minutes!! Maybe it is that I have Medicare and they just don't want to deal with it?? I cannot handle the incompetence, at least call, or text, or email, communication is everything. I will seek another provider. Nice Doctors, questionable staff. read more

Wow. I have never had this happen to me before! I walked in asking for an appointment to get my new set of frames (which are the same ones i have so easy thing) and then purchase a new pair of sunglasses with new frames. The lady at the front asked if I had time to simply do it today, I said sure. As I was browsing for frames for my sunglasses I heard another front desk lady complaining that she "now [has] a walk in for 2 pairs of glasses". Don't know if she knew i could hear her not but I just shrugged it off because everyone has those days, work can be hard. After a few minutes, I was the only patron in the office.Then, the SAME lady walked over to the frames section (a few feet from me) and starts talking to another employee with her back to me. The employee asks how the front desk lady is doing and the front desk lady responds with "well, I was doing good until about 2 minutes ago, now I have a walk in for 2 pairs of glasses". CLEARLY she was talking about me. I was willing to let it go the first time but really? A second time? and you were only a few feet away from me? I just don't really understand. I work in customer service. The customers are the ones who pay your check. If you feel so swamped to the point where you need to constantly complain about patients right in front of them, maybe this isn't the career for you? What makes it even more upsetting is the fact that I specifically asked for an appointment but YOUR staff suggested a walk-in. This incident made me feel very unwelcome after a few years of coming to this office. So if you're looking to come to this place beware! You might get the glasses you want, but not without the employees talking bad about you... RIGHT NEXT TO YOU! read more

Recently moved to Roseville and my cousin found this gem. The location is not easily seen, but the plaza is! Parking is near Chicago Fire / the United Artist Movie theaters & there is usually lots of spaces available. Yelp & Google Maps took me to the correct place. Decoration is definitely modern and the women who work there are great / welcoming. From assisting me with my paperwork, to a professional exam & my favorite part - choosing a new frame! The selection was similar to other optometrists I've been to, so no complaints on their selection. If the glasses are in-house, they are fairly quick as well. I was given a 7 day timeframe and received an email for pick-up within 3-5 days. Not bad at all! I plan to make this place my primary optometrist. Thanks Dr. & staff :)! read more

But i was very surprised that the Receptionist told me . I probably wouldn't be able to get appointment in where in Roseville. I then replied! They cost me the ability to drive, walk-in stores, or want to go anywhere for 2 years! I now have $700 glasses (I bought nice frames, upgraded features, etc.) sitting in a drawer. I went for a yearly exam in early 2020. The Dr. was great. The staff was great, at the first visit, and my glasses came in quickly. It went downhill from there! I quickly realized my lenses were not transitioning quickly and I was having a lot of trouble seeing well and could not drive my car due to not being able to see anything clearly within about 15 feet of my car. I would get dizzy if I tried to walk and look up at anything at the same time. I called and they said I needed to order the next level of transitions and acted like I was at fault. I explained I was not offered any upgrade options on any of the features I ordered for my glasses and had to be forceful as it was to get the high-end scratch resistance, blue light filter, etc. They reordered the lenses and told me the problem with not seeing would get better I just needed to give the lenses time. I went back a few more times to ask for help and tried to explain that it didn't seem right the way I was seeing and all they did was bend the frames a little more. With each visit, they became more condescending to me and were very clear that it was my fault I could not see well. I left feeling very defeated and feeling that something must be wrong with me. I was never able to drive my car because I could only see cars clearly for maybe 15-20 feet in front of me. I could not turn my head to the side to look at cars next to me, my side mirrors, or let alone any signs on the side of the road without everything being very blurry and I would dizzy. For two years my hubby had to drive me everywhere and even then as he drove, I had to keep my head down and could not look out the windows! When going into a store, I would have to put my head down, walk a few feet, put my head back up to make sure I wasn't running into anybody or anything, move my glasses around until I could somewhat read the product in front of me or to try to read signs. If I walked with my head up I would get very dizzy and almost nauseous! With things opening up a bit more and a desire to drive my car, I called them and explained everything to the woman who answered and asked for an appointment. There was not one ounce of empathy or even concern that I had gotten glasses from there and was still having a serious struggle. She was condescending and told me that it was because I had trifocals and that was the problem. I mentioned that maybe that should have been looked at as a possible problem before when I was coming back with problems, she said nothing. Again, no concern at all. I made an appointment at another eye Dr. and the experience there was amazing!! The staff was empathetic and concerned that I was having so much trouble and got me an appointment right away. The Dr. viewed my prescription and did an eye exam. He was so concerned about the difference in what the test showed and my prescription that he insisted we take the time and do the exam again. Turns out my lenses were way stronger than they ever should have been and told me I needed to stop wearing them! When I got home from the exam I got out an older pair of glasses and wore them until my new glasses came in. My life changed as soon as the new glasses were on my face!! I feel bad for the staff as I was crying and excited at the same time! I could see everything immediately. I was able to drive and my hubby took me out to Target and I could walk in there with my head held up and no dizziness. read more

I've never picked up glasses and had them handed to me in a paper bag. When I asked for a case, I was told they don't provide a case unless you purchase their frames. When I asked to have the glasses fitted to my head, they seemed put out and said they would "try". This isn't the customer service I'm used to. The office isn't set up efficiently. They have to go to the back for everything. There is a lot of back and forth. Would I go back?-- I don't think so. I wanted to like them but after three visits there, my initial impression remains the same. optometrist was fine -- nothing out of the ordinary from other optometrists I have seen. I had such a nice experience here last month! Everyone I spoke to was so nice and professional. They take very careful measures to make everyone comfortable during the covid times even now. They have a beautiful selection of frames and the office is immaculate- beautiful and so so clean! Only reason for dropping one star was because of a rebate error that was made when I purchased contacts recently- it only applied to a larger quantity of contacts so I was misinformed but I know mistakes happen. The office is conveniently located in the medical offices near the UA Theater in Roseville. There is plenty of parking and the office is easy to find. When you enter, there is plenty of seating and the staff always greets me with a friendly smile and checks me in. The optometrist is super nice and informative. Afterwards, when it comes to picking out glasses/sunglasses, the office staff always lets me know how much my insurance covers right at the beginning so that I know what price range I can look at. This optometry is one of the few that carries luxury brands (i.e. Gucci, Burberry, Ray Bans...etc.) that also accept VSP insurance. You can also order frames not in stock but that can be found online. I came quite late on Wednesday to pick up my eyeglasses but the office staff went extensively over the closing hour at 6 pm to help tweaking the nose pieces to fit my face. My husband was looking for an optometrist since we moved from the bay area. I did a quick Yelp search to find this place. I loved that they were open on Saturdays since we work 8-5 during the week, which made it nice and convenient. The appointment was quick and we were out in less than an hour. There was a wide range of frames to choose from in the lobby, so we were able to pinpoint a good style for him quickly. The optometrist was also thorough when explaining the cost breakdown for the add-ons to the lenses as well as going over the options for colors of the transition lenses. I've been coming to this place for years! When they moved, I moved with them. When I moved, I still travel the distance to come here. All the doctors are great! The staff is so professional and nice! It's very relaxing the minute you walk-in with the water fountain. They always provide great service and I love their selection of frames. Not a lot of sunglasses frames to chose from, but there all really nice styles. I even paid for my exam one year because I had no insurance. The cost of the exam was reasonable and well worth the trip. I don't like dealing with their parking lot because the spaces are small and it's hard to see a car coming when pulling out. I already witnessed one accident in the parking lot. My suggestion would be parking closer to the theater. The spaces are wider, and it's not so precarious pulling out of your space. read more

I am new to the area and was not hopeful that I would find an optometrist quickly. Dr. Nguyen was referred to me by a co-worker and I was able to make an appointment that fit my very tight schedule. My visit went well and I was especially impressed by three things. Firstly, Dr. Nguyen administered one of the most thorough and comprehensive eye exams I have ever received. She asked questions, checked specific items, and verified past findings - it was incredible. Secondly, the reception, assistant, and support staff were each knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and super helpful - they are indeed a well-oiled, cohesive team. Thirdly, I was seen early. I had left early to insure parking (a habit born of years of San Francisco living) so, I arrived early. They took me in immediately - I couldn't have been more astonished and pleased. Overall I must say this is by far the most positive Optometry visit I've experienced. I ordered my glasses and contacts and they dealt with my insurance coverage completely. The space is neat and tidy and they are very efficient in the eye exam process.
