My family was pretty happy here. Until warranty was needed. I thought we all had a full 2 year warranty on all our glasses, as that's what was explained to us. Well just over a year later I wanted to get my sun glasses warrantied for a scratch on one of the lenses. I was told I did not have scratch protection. I did not sign anything declining protection in the beginning. They were not willing to talk about any reasoning, just that I would have to pay. Couldn't explain why on THIS pair only, I didn't have the warranty protection for what is needed. So I left. My family, friends, neighbors & coworkers will not be coming here. I will spend the money to start from scratch somewhere else out of spite to not buy new lenses here that should have been under warranty. read more

I've been here a couple of times for eye exams and it was fine- convenient location and hours and Dr. Brooks was nice. However, the reason I'm not going back is that once you schedule an appointment here you will literally be harassed nonstop by email and text message to schedule your annual appointments. Even after opting out of the texts multiple times I am still receiving nonstop messages. And if you have an upcoming appointment you will receive way too many notifications about your appointment, it was ridiculous. Even the person who checked in before me at my last appointment said the same thing. I really hope they change the system they are using for this because it is ridiculous. read more

No complaints here! Very happy with the service I got here. Very nice selection of eye wear for men. I got a pair of Oakley bifocal shades and a couple of Hugo Boss glasses. Dr. Brooks was very attentive and inquisitive to my prior health conditions. The eye exam was very thorough and performed with ease. Dr. Brooks even contacted after the appointment to make me aware of a health condition. The optician was very helpful as well. She knew exactly what my health plan covered and helped picking out eyewear an easy process. She outlined all of the expenses for each pair of glasses under consideration, which made the final decision that much easier. I'm very happy with Dr. Brooks. I have been going for a year now. I just finished by 2nd annual eye check. I was impressed with what good records she kept. In my 2nd year check-up we were able to see what, if, there had been any changes in my eye site. She took the time to explain everything she was doing during the exam. They had a good supply of frames but there was no high pressure to have to purchase a frame now. Usually I go to an optometrist by referral of my doctor, but instead I was referred by my health plan; I was apprehensive that this would be more of a selling environment, rather then a medical exam. Wrong, me! Dr. brooks was relaxed, a consummate professional, thorough, and a good listener about my eye problem concerns. She knew exactly what to do for me, there was no pressure, and she took the time needed to get my problem resolved. Thanks to Yelp, I found Dr. Geri Brooks. My husband and I previously went to another optometrist in our area, but we're disappointed with the service. Dr. Brooks spotted my developing cataracts and I am now having that under observation. The prescription glasses she fitted for me and my husband were spot on! Recently, I went back to have distance sunglasses made for driving. The optician who attended to me suggested that I get polarized lenses for sharper vision. When I received the driving sunglasses, I found that the vision was waaaay too sharp. The optician again checked the prescription, etc and suggested that I try it out for a while and bring it back if it was uncomfortable. I tried them out, but after driving for about 15 minutes with them, I had to stop because I felt like throwing up. Back to Precision and after more discussion and measurements, the optician zeroed in on the polarized lens. We agreed that she would replace them with regular lenses. Yesterday, I went back to try on my un-polarized glasses. They are much better! Dr. Brooks personally attended to me. Thank goodness, because I asked if I could the cost of the polarized lenses deducted from my payment and she gladly returned the amount to my credit card! I love that they are open until 7pm on Mondays. The ladies like Debbie make appointment-setting so stress-free. Plus, everyone is truly patient-oriented. Their prices are very reasonable. I am a mother of 2 patients that I brought in last week for an eye exam and to purchase glasses. I choose your location because on the VSP website it said that you specialize in smaller children. My 14 year old has been wearing glasses for many years so I wasn't so worried about her. But this is my 4 year olds first visit and we found out she needed glasses. We are double covered and I was hoping that since we are covered that there would be minimal out of pocket costs. My teenager picked out a fairly expensive pair of glasses and another inexpensive pair. It really felt like the woman helping us was trying to push me to pay both co-pays to get the glasses. I wanted to use the secondary coverage to cover an upgraded lens on the one pair but was told I had to pay 38 extra for that. I feel like I was forced to by the upgrade, she was even going to make me sign the back of the paper that I did not want to upgrade them, as if I was a bad parent for not wanting the covered lens. So I ended up using both coverages to cover the one pair. My 4 year old ended up needing glasses and I wanted to go for the converse because they were replaceable for $15 but the sales people talked me out of it and my daughter picked out a pair of glasses with a strap. I very specifically asked if the strap was included in the frame cost. I was only going to use one insurance so that in case they were broken or lost we could get another pair. Once again she said I could not use the second coverage for the first pair of glasses even though the upgraded lens was covered. I agreed to pay $69 for the "extras. After I left I decided to use both coverages and not have any out of pocket costs. I called and let them know that is what I wanted to do. But they then said I could use the secondary coverage only and just pay 35 instead of the quoted $69. I was happy that I was able to get the glasses and still have the other coverage. Then I got a call back about a $15 strap charge. I told the person on the phone that I was told it was included and instead of working with me she said I had to pay it. I have been to many different optometry offices and yours is by far the least helpful and the most expensive. I will pick up my daughters glasses and never come back there. I just wanted you to know about the service I received and maybe the next "customer" can be treated better. read more

My experience with Precision Optometry was wonderful. I do have to mention that I had to wait a little longer than I would have liked. My appointment was late in the day though so I wasn't too surprised they were running a little behind. The wait was SO worth it though. I've been to a number of different optometrist and Dr. Brooks is the first to pay attention to me when I responded to the "which is better, one or two?" part of the exam. When I said one option was fine with the left but not the right she immediately caught on and continued to make sure the vision corrections for both eyes were addressed. Other doctors ignored this after telling them from the start that I had different focus issues in each eye. So nice! She took her time, explained everything she did, was gentle and thorough. She went over my options regarding contacts, making everything clear so I could make an informed decision about them. She spent time with me over lens options, not making me feel rush even though I was probably the last patient of the day, and asked several times if I had any more questions. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm terrible with names and have already forgotten the name of the lady who helped me pick frames. She was great. I wish I could remember her name to give her the kudos she deserves. I haven't gotten the new glasses yet but I am confident they will be far better than previous pairs. The service here is the worst ever! They messed up on my glasses and they blame on the fact that I didn't bring in my old glasses from the previous optometrist. The doctor decided to take out the astigmatism on my glasses and didn't even note on my profile that I have an astigmatism and now they blame the patient for not bringing in the previous glasses. What is the exam good for if they can't even perform the exam correctly!!! read more

Great first visit. I saw Dr. Nieu who is new to Precision Optometry. Dr. Nieu was very thorough and caring. I learned a lot from this visit and feel I'll be able to take care of some dry eye issues better now. Teresa was most helpful when I was picking out my new glasses. A little over a week later I was able to go back and pick up my new glasses. The fitting was quick and easy. I highly recommend Precision Optometry. I would have liked to of seen at least one night a week when they were open past 5 PM so it would've been a little easier to pick up glasses. read more

Best office I have been to. I have KAISER and I was frustrated I could never get an appt and when I got when I got an appointment I was never told I had to have a separate spot for glass and contacts. I was a bit upset. I happen to see the office for eye dr. By my house. I decided to just have my eyes checked again by the dr and right then and there eye glasses were ordered and contacts. I stumbled across this place by accident. I have been calling around trying to find a place my insurance would cover since they were no help in providing me a list of places that I could choose from. All the eye places prior to this one had no clue what I was talking about and were not help at all. Feeling hopeless I decided to call this place anyway and finally someone was able to help me here. My search was over, they accept the eye insurance I have! I got an appointment within two hours of calling! I had my three kids with me, since I didn't have much time to plan for a sitter. They were very accommodating. They had toys for them to play with and kept an eye on them while I took my exam. I felt like the exam was the most thorough eye exam I had ever had before. I've been doing this for over 10 years so I know a good eye exam when I have one. And I promise this place is well deserving of their 5 star rating! Can't wait to return and bring my whole family here for their eye care as well. UPDATE: Another huge bonus for me was the doctor noticed something I had tried to have my daughter seen for when she was two but was told I was a paranoid first time mom. I noticed she would go a little cross eye when she watched tv which raised some concern for me. The eye doctor I had examine her at the time didn't seem to think it was an issue and made me feel crazy for thinking it was. Fast forward 7 years, this doctor asked me if I ever noticed her eyes going cross eyed when trying to focus. I told her this story and she assured me that I was 100% right. My daughters eye muscles were weak and she probably should have been wearing glasses all of these years to strengthen them! I can not recommend this place enough!!!! read more

I'm kind of a Yelp geek. When I'm looking for a new "something", Yelp is typically what I turn to. I don't use them as the be all, end all, but I definitely read and take into consideration all of the reviews. So, when I needed to choose a new Optometrist I turned to my pals at Yelp, and they didn't disappoint. I made a request for an appt thru their website. I like when docs are using new technology. I was seen that same day as they'd had a cancellation. Dr Brooks was great, very personable and kind. Her staff Margo and Penny are equally as nice. I'll definitely be back!! This place is terrible. I started out with them and Dr Brooks. When I first saw her, I told her that I had a serious problem with dry eyes, and that I previously used a contact that was very aqueous. She told me that she didn't have an option that was similar to my old contacts. She proceeded to stick me in a contact that was very dry and hurt my eyes. She then put me on a plan that was called Lens Ferry. The first problem is when I changed my Credit Card information, I called the office and the girl who answered the phone proceeded to tell me that she couldn't change the information and that I had to call Lens Ferry myself (which has terrible client services) and never got a call back. So I go back for my yearly exam and order new contacts that are $20 more but are the type of contact that I need. I go through the exam and get the contacts to try out and as I am getting billed, I tell them that I am using Lens Ferry. I call back today to order the rest of my contacts and I am told that they no longer do Lens Ferry which is something that I should have been informed of by the office when they cancelled the service. I have to wear daily contact lenses that are $700 for a years supply. They rip you off here. DO NOT GO HERE. There are many other better optometrists. read more
