My benefits had already been used for the year, but they were incredibly generous in finding ways to get me discounts, placing calls to the lab, and reviewing my insurance to make the whole experience FAR more affordable and faster than I could have imagined. I went from expecting to pay several hundred dollars to have my glasses redone, to paying a fraction of that and having them done quickly. What really stood out to me was that he remembered me, remembered the glasses I had picked out, and even knew the details of my insurance plan. That level of attention and customer care is rare these days. He personally helped me find the right pair of glasses and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The staff, from the time I arrived to choosing a new frame, to seeing the ophthalmologist were all friendly and professional and Dr Maboudi was wonderful. The office is on the second level inside a Sutter Medical building. There weren't a lot of patients that day, it was pleasantly quiet. I had to repeatedly ask questions on my own and eventually had to go to the front desk for help. Another staff member tried to assist me, but I felt this should have been handled by the optician. I even requested a different optician, but none were available, so I was sent back to Michelle, which made the interaction uncomfortable. After my visit, I completed a survey and requested follow-up. The office manager did call me, but no resolution was offered. Two months later, my glasses became scratched. When I contacted the office, I was told I had declined a warranty. However, this was never explained to me during my visit, and I did not sign or receive any documentation showing that I declined it. Overall, I felt unsupported throughout the entire process and that important information was not communicated to me. I would not return to this location.

I was becoming irritated by the lack of customer service/empathy and when I called to make my annual appointment, and I was the fifth person in line, I just hung up and made a decision to find somewhere new. I found Roseville Vision Center and went for my appnt last week. It was quiet. There was not a sea of people waiting and the employees were kind and helpful. The doctor I saw was amazing as well. He took quite a while with me and explained many issues I was having that no one previously brought to my attention. He corrected my prescription for my contacts and gave me some other helpful hints about issues I was having. Roseville Vision Center was night and day from where I had been going. I would recommend them to anyone.
