My favorite Chinese food place!!! I order from here at least twice a month... The potstickers and crab puffs are awesome and I really enjoy the pork chow mein and sweet and sour chicken! I'm never disappointed with their food! read more

Crab Puffs are to die for I'm trying to Chow Mein House special in a few. We'll see if I like that. the only thing that bothered me is when I went to go heat up their teriyaki chicken from the day before the sauce is like burning hot but still looks like clumps of blubber and it's disgusting. I don't think I'll order your teriyaki chicken again. read more

This is my all time favorite Chinese place in Tempe and really Phoenix at that. They are very consistent and the food is always fresh. I don't feel like I get a container full of grease with this place. I can't say enough about this place. The drivers and staff are always friendly as well. Small place to eat in at but its great for small parties. I usually order for delivery tho and if I was ever out of their delivery zone I would likely drive to pick-up just to ensure I get good food. read more

Was gross dry and food taste like it came out of a instant food container and they just added meat. Blah meat was so dry it just fell apart never eating here again. If u have dry food at lest pack soy sauce in the bag. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars at all. I ordered beef with broccoli but they told me that I ordered Mongolian beef when I know what exactly I wanted. I also ordered Kung pao chicken but was only given 3 pieces of chicken and the rest were all vegetables. When I called the place again to give my complaint, they told me that I didn't order beef with broccoli and that the lunch specials were small so that's why they only gave me 3 pieces of chicken. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any reason. This place is so bad, I had to heat up old spaghetti because I didn't finish their food. I give this place 0 stars, not even 1. read more

I really wish someone on Yelp would have written about Chopstick Express's gluten free items. They are in fact not gluten free at all, and the food is of an overall low quality. Just avoid. read more

This is actually really terrible from top to bottom. Worst orange chicken I've ever had in my life. The fried rice has no flavor at all, hardly any egg and not one carrot. You do actually get a lot portion wise but I truly couldn't eat half of it because I thought it was that bad. read more

Chopstix Express is a family run business, ken and karen have been friends of our family going on about 15 years the food is delicious!!! but most of all all it is very hard to find people that care about their customers nowadays like they do I am a small business owner to and would recommend then any time for lunch or dinner the cool thing is they deliver!!! read more

Love ordering from here, the food is great and the service has never disappointed. The tofu is the best I've tried in fast food.

Yum!! The orange chicken was super delicious as were the pot stickers.

I ordered Sweet Sour Chicken, the portion is unbelievably small, chicken is dry. Asian Cafe is a much better deal as far as value and flavor. read more

I really liked the Las Vegas roll! The House Lo Mein was also very tasty! I recommend this place.

Have ate here a few times the only thing worth ordering is the pot stickers ! Food is made haphazardly with low quality ingredients and it's poorly prepared!! After tonight's order I will never order from them again the items were just thrown in the bag several items spilled and the pepper beef was awful ! Never going back read more

My usual place doesn't deliver so I decided to try their food. After waiting one hour, I received mixed vegetables in a scorched, burnt tasting sauce. The soup was old. It tasted off and the ingredients were mushy. Even the green onion. The white rice was fine and their honey wings are good, but I won't be ordering here again. Next time I'll make the drive to my normal place. read more

They delivery fast and their food is quite good. The portion are a lot ! If you get the combo, you wont even finish it. read more

Worst Chinese food ever The fried rice was not fried rice just regular rice with some sauce no egg or onions and the Eggroll was a Spring roll even though they lied when i called and said was a small Eggroll The teriyaki chicken was awful it was baked chicken in a mystery sauce The Pepper steak had black steak pieces and was bland and chewy Forget this place Order from China Jade Wish i would have read more

Super awesome experience! I called at 8:50 to see what time they closed because I wanted to place an order for delivery. The gentleman who answered the phone was clear, friendly & professional. I had no idea what I really wanted to order and when I told him it was me and 3 teenagers he had the perfect solution. The family meal was perfect on my budget and I still have some for breakfast. The delivery guy was awesome too! Right on schedule like they said and the food was hot... Not just warm. I'll definitely order from here again read more

Fast delivery service!! The best crab wontons I have ever had. I love everything I get from here.

You definitely can tell the fake reviews from the real ones for this dung heap restaurant. We ordered the family meal special, 3 item combo for $24. Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, and chicken chow mein. Free sides of 4 egg roll, 4 crab puff, lg fried rice, and lg white rice for orange chicken. The good: crab puffs and chicken chow mein. Everything else was an unmitigated FAIL. Orange chicken and sweet and sour pork almost undistinguishable from each other. Sauce was already poured on the sweet and sour. Basically both were fat and gristle wrapped up in soggy playdough like coating. The egg rolls were okay on the outside but inside the ingredients were indiscernible mush. read more

We ordered food for delivery and the service was fast. BUT the food was HORRIBLE. The orange chicken looked like it would dissolve in your mouth and not the yummy way. I order the beef and broccoli and I honestly didn't like the look of it. It was soupy and had a horrible smell. Although the smell I decided to try it and maybe it would taste good unfortunately it tasted as bad as it smelled, maybe even worse. The fried rice wasn't what I expected, was tasteless had no veggies and was burnt. As much advertising they try to do I will NOT go here again. Try a new chef and better way of making the egg rolls and crab puffs. I also didn't want to give any stars but had to give at least one. read more

My husband & I tried the pepper steak along with sweet & sour chicken. They both were disgusting!!! The steak & the chicken were both dry & tough to chew. The chicken had a funny smell to it & the fried rice had no flavor. We will never go hear again!!!! read more

We had the Kung Pao chicken and General Tso's combo's delivered to work. $20 down the drain. It was so bad we couldn't eat it. We thru it away. The crab puff was good but the egg roll and chicken and rice, NO! We will never order there again. read more

Never been on site. Being from back east I have a pretty high standard for Wor Wonton Soup. They have the best I've found locally despite the wontons being fall-apart over cooked. Usually get Wor Wonton and Lg Spicy rice which for one person means possibly two meals read more

Placed an order online, and it took over an hour to arrive. We called the restaurant to check on our order, and they just hung up on us the first time. The driver couldn't find our apartment, so we had to go down to the office and wait on him. When we opened up the food, it was cold, and didn't contain the correct order. It was also missing the vegetable chow mein we'd ordered. We called back, and explained that we'd gotten the wrong order, and were missing items, and they tried saying that the orange chicken we'd received was, in fact, the kung pao pork that we had ordered. Not true. They're two completely different dishes. They did offer to bring the chow mein, which arrived about 40 minutes after we'd finished eating what was probably someone else's order. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They got the order wrong and when called about it they just argued. We paid for $30 worth of food and most of it ended up being just plain old rice! The food is bland tiny portions. If you were like me....really hungry for some good, well made Chinese food.....do yourself a favor and find a different restaurant! read more

First time trying chopstick express. It's always hard finding a good Chinese food place that uses quality meats (lean, not fatty or gristly) and fresh tasting. But Chopstick Express definitely delivered. We ordered the Orange chicken, Mongolian beef and chicken chow mein. All was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly as well. Helpful hint: there are only a few small tables for inside dining. It's best to order take-out or have it delivered. I definitely will be going back! read more

I ordered delivery from Chopstick Express. I liked their chow mein a lot. Much less oily than other places and good flavor. The other dishes were okay, but maybe I wouldn't order them again. It took a little longer than expected (about 45 min to one hour), but they did tell me that when I made the order. The food was decent, but the takeout boxes were leaky and there were no napkins. The steam from the food turned the paper boxes into kind of a mush, so I had to transfer the food into bowls with ninja-like speed and dexterity (kind of defeats the purpose of getting delivery, doesn't it? To not have to do as many dishes?) Also, they didn't give me any chopsticks! What the heck! It's in their name! Good thing along with those ninja skills, I've also got chopsticks up my sleeves. Hai-ya! read more

Only order from here if you are having bowel movement troubles. Ordered from here twice, violently ill both times.

it wasn't at all good or even remotely satisfying. Even the Chinese place i go to while im baked is better. the im a poor college student and i look like it for christ sake my apartment is in like down town tempe, and i gave him a twenty and a five and i asked for the change except for the three dollar tip (because it took them an hour for the food to get there) and i had to tell the guy how much that would be and then when he notice that the tip was three dollars he gave me this weird look, like I had wronged him. christ, him and I had a tug-of-war for the remainder of the money i gave him. on top of that it was over priced. i bought two large rices and 2 spring rolls and cost like 17 dollars. the food was bad too. as late night i mean baked the fuck out of your head. read more

They are quick and convenient for local delivery. Standard fare for Chinese take out. The food is good not amazing. But they are friendly and fast. read more

Best tofu I've ever had. No competition. Hope this place stays in business forever. Try the orange tofu and the veggie chow mein. I dream about it. read more

Tried chopstick express with my girl last night. First impression was very small take out place, but the girl worked at the counter was very friendly and helpful, so we decided to give it a try. Turns out the food was surprising good, ordered shrimp fried rice, they use very big shrimp (unlike the baby shrimp used in other place i used to eat at). And pork lo mein, which its not greasy and they use BBQ pork, like the one place i had in california. Besides the place is way too small, overall its very good.... read more

It is very hard for me to rate place, compared to similar carry out Asian food in Arizona. This place would be the best just because of the orange tofu. But one item cannot really do the trick. Server is usually slow, or non existent for some periods of time. I recall coming here several times a week, due to convenience to my work place. I would standing there 15 mins waiting, for the rude ASU football line back to ask me " what do you want" in the rudest tone. Not the tone you would expect after waiting a long time for service, but I was always hungry, and just wanted to get in and out. I always would order on the phone, the same thing. But sometimes I would get different containers. A large would be a med, and med would be a small. Some days I had left overs, others I was still pretty hungry. Besides the orange tofu, there is not much on the menu that is good. I have tried others, but have yet to like anything else. And to be honest, 8 bucks for fried tofu with a cheap orange sauce is not a great value. Compared to other US cities, this place ranks very low in my book. Overpriced tofu, and crummy customer service. I just hate places that make me want to leave the second I walk in. read more

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered delivery and would have sent it back if I was in the "restaurant". This place is terrible!

Yucky food! Greasy breaded chicken that was not delicious. Fried rice was bland and icky! Only good thing were the spring rolls.

Thought we'd give it a try but kind of regretting it now... The orange chicken was really dry, the broccoli and beef didn't taste very good, the fried rice tasted as if it was drenched in soy sauce... Will not do again. read more

Super fast delivery and they are generous with the portions. Have ordered delivery from them probably over a dozen times over the last 3 years. Sometimes the food is far more flavorful than others, although I imagine that depends on whoever the cook is. Our previous order was pretty bland tasting (rare) - but today we requested extra spicy for everything, and boy-oh-boy, did we get it! lol read more

First of all, when you walk in the place is a underwhelming. It's not dirty, just they haven't done much with the building yet it seems. And it's very small. I don't ever order soda from the soda fountain however, because that thing looks 20 years old. The service is not bad. Our biggest problem with CE so far has been that they charge $2 extra if you want chow mien instead of their flavorless fried rice. But it seems like that's how it is all over AZ which is very messed up. Anyway, the reason I keep coming back to this place is purely for their Mu Shu Vegetables. It's mouthwatering delicious. When you get your combo, it comes with the aforementioned flavorless fried rice (And that's all it is, rice. No veggies or meat in it), crab puffs which are pretty good, a spring roll which is not good at all, and two HUGE things that look like burritos filled with the mush shu veggies. The side if plum sauce could be a lot bigger. I used the whole dinky container on one mu shu. But I was afraid to ask for more because I figured they would charge me extra for that too. If that mu shu wasn't so good I probably would not come here anymore. read more

The orange chicken lunch rice bowl was very delicious and so were the egg rolls. I will defiantly be coming back.

Delivery was 20 minutes sooner than expected. Food was medicore. Nothing to write home about. Better than Big Wa
