    Fried rice
    Jen H.

Customer service was good but food was pretty bad. I don't ever leave negative reviews but it's not ok to serve this terrible of quality to your customers. I ordered the $22 orange chicken bundle for takeout. It came with fried rice, a drink and an egg roll the size of my pinky (not being dramatic). Portions were a good size other than that but the egg roll was the only decent tasting item. The orange chicken was cold and soggy as if it'd been sitting for a while. The chicken pieces were tough and tiny and the batter completely fell off when you take a bite. The picture below is just the batter that fell off the chicken. The fried rice came in a dirty takeout box (pictured) and tasted like burnt oil.

Food was delish! We had it delivered. All was warm and taste just right! We will order again!

I ordered from the establishment and online it showed that the chicken fried rice was a different price than when I got there now, it really was no big deal because it was only a few dollars more and I was the only customer in the place but there was a new lady that I've never seen before so I was pointing out to her that the price online said this she became very upset and began to yell out at me and tell me about the online price that I saw. The fact that she became very indignant and raised her voice at me, cut me off guard. I reminded her I'm a grown woman and I don't know who you think you're yelling at it became escalated for at least 5min or more. I'm very disappointed in how I was treated she even had the nerve to follow me outside to look at my car plates now I could've taken this different ways as maybe you're following me to try and attack me after I already paid $47.00 and left the establishment for more confrontation, which is what she wanted . I had never had an issue here. I've been going here for at least four years, but this treatment is totally unacceptable. Her following to me to my car and continuing the argument over two dollars is not acceptable and it was crazy to me or my family and I don't think I'll be going back! The elderly couple that worked there were always kind and I even had a relationship with the older woman where we were often talk. I'm still in disbelief. This is the new lady, I took her pic while I was leaving and before she rush out side!

Amazing food and sweet people! Support this gem--Panda Garden deserves more love! Ordered take out, sesame chicken, orange chicken, and moo goo gai pan--everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The interior has been recently remodeled and looks great. Friendly staff and great service.

The restaurant is very welcoming, and so are the hosts. We ordered seafood dumpling soup, and hot and sour soup. It was delicious :)! For entrees we got Beef Lo Mein and Kung Pao Chicken accompanied with white rice. So so good and tasty! Service was very fast, and prices are fair! 100% recommended amazing, authentic Chinese food!!

Service was non existent. Food was cold and old. Reheated in really dirty cooking oil. Water tasted like soap. Tea extremely weak.

Has anybody had the xiao long bao from here? Is it good and worth the money?

Honestly I have not. Though I was not aware they had Xiao Long Bao.. I love that though so it would be good to try at least for me.

I was at the window looking at the taped on paper menu and a guy tapped me and asked me if I was in line.... I said yeah, (I mean it was obvious since I was at the window) and I kid you not... he goes Well you better get in line. And sure enough, he shoved his way in front of me to order. So bizarre cuz there was only 1 other guy behind him. I guess he had no manners and needed to be first! Just a super off the wall crowd piled up all around waiting on their food. Another car pulled up to park with his music blasting so loud that the bass was vibrating his car, the sidewalk. It was all terrible. I only stayed because it had such good reviews and another lady told me it was awesome. It's basically a hole in the wall but actually it's a window in the wall. It's a brick bldg w a small window that you talk and order thru. The staff was nice to me and clarified whether I wanted fries w my jalapeño's wings, which I did not, so she saved me $4 bucks. I ordered the #5, all chicken but it had so much breading and very little chicken. Some of the chicken was really stiff like either grissel or just dried out. The number 5 is orange chicken and sweet n sour chicken. With lo mein noodles and friend rice. $22.99.... if you just get 1 entree, it's $20...so might as well try 2 choices. I've got a super bad stomachache from eating about 6 pieces of chicken and 2 spoons of rice. I also got the jalapeño's wings due to the reviews. They are actually excellent and greasy jalapeño's flavor and chicken cooked well. 2 stars for wings but -2 for the heavily breaded other chicken entrees w barely any chicken. At home, I pulled all the breading off and it's really pathetic that it's 7/8 breading and 1/8 chicken. I didn't see any non fried / breaded chicken and it didn't seem like a good idea to order pork or shrimp from here. I'm sorry I didn't see the review recommendation for hot spicy chicken and I didn't see it on the menu. But it's a full big page menu. I basically wanted to choose from combo so I could get rice and noodles. I will agree that it's big portions of all of it. I'm basically going to eat the rice and noodles w my own chicken cutlet for work lunches. And I'll give the chicken out of the breading to the stray cats. I waited 50 minutes for my order, which was fine with me cuz I'm aware it's popular. But dang, it's a wild place.

It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.
