Oh how happy we were to finally find a Chinese takeout spot that reminded us of home. If you miss Chinese food from the east coast, try it out! The restaurant is a whole in the wall kind of spot, definitely what we are used to. The pork fried rice was delicious. Flavorful and fluffy, so good I could eat it as an entire meal. We had the chicken with broccoli, the brown sauce was spot on. Broccoli was crunchy, just how I like it. The vegetable lo mein was good, had lots of vegetables and plenty of noodles. Love the baby corn and water chestnuts as an added crunch. At first the boneless spareribs threw us off, they had a little more sauce than we expected. We're from suburban Cleveland and suburban Philadelphia, and we instantly became loyal customers to this place. We love it because the service and food are fast, accurate, and consistent. My favorite is the Pork Fried Rice--it's so good that I sometimes order only it, but I always order it. RECOMMENDED: Egg Rolls, Bone-in BBQ Spareribs, Wonton Egg Drop Soup, Pork Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, Chicken w. Wow this place really is the best chinese takeout i've come across. I ordered the general tso chicken special and it came with SO MUCH chicken. I barely ate half the box, I feel like this is a great sharing size for a couple people. It's marked as spicy on their menu but it's definitely not. I also ordered the cheese wontons. They were huge and filled with lots of filling. Also could not finish all 8 of them. Seems like this place is only open to takeout orders. I ordered at the store and waited less than 7 minutes for them to come out with my food. I would definitely consider ordering and picking up your food instead of using doordash as their prices are higher with these services. It's delicious here. Portions size is good. I WISH they sold French fries here .. i love fries with my Chinese food since i was little i don't know why but I just do. lol we are a big family so our order is always about $100. Food is always hot and fresh and if there's any mess ups they are super quick to fix it. Only downside is the delivery they used to deliver themselves and my food will always get delivered to my door, now they go thru third party's and my food is always left somewhere else, i always have to be looking for my food at neighbors, that's insane as i mention delivery is third party's so they really don't care where they drop off your food. Just one word, delicious! I ordered the General Tso's chicken (I know I know), and the Szechuan wontons. General Tso's chicken: The batter on the chicken was light, and crunchy, and the chicken itself was white meat. I really liked that the sauce wasn't overly sweet. In fact, it was nice and peppery. The rice that it came with the entree was fresh and fluffy. Szechuan Wontons: They were fried wontons filled with pork (I think), doused in a smoky, spicy, savory sauce. We really enjoyed this dish. The only thing I would change (and you can do this at home) is to serve it with a sprinkle of cilantro and chopped green onions on the top, maybe a drizzle of toasted sesame oil. The gentleman I spoke with said that it's not his fault that the door dasher picked up the wrong order and per him, they check all the orders. I informed him that if they were checking the orders then how was my entire $65.00 order picked up especially since I have a very Unique name? He said complaint to Door dash, I said I am talking to you as the restaurant you should check to ensure the correct order is being picked up, he was not pleasant or apologetic at all. There are a lot of things I love about this place. The lo mein is some of the best I have ever been able to find in AZ. Flavors are on point in almost everything I've gotten, but some of the things will sometimes be greasy and I never know when that will be. But, I'm a die hard moo shu Pork fan and here the dish itself is tasty, but they serve it with corn tortillas instead of pancakes. I tried a second time since moving to Tempe and both times have been corn tortillas. I just figured the first time was a one off. But no, corn tortillas. I'm sorry, but that does not go. Maybe if it it were a flour tortilla, but CORN. It just falls apart and is dry and makes me wish I ordered tacos instead. If you're a moo shu fan. The staff is so friendly and I have never had my food delivered so quickly and on an accurate basis like China Jade does!! I can't decide if I like this place more than hunan express or not.. Comes in good portions for a good price, also the containers are convenient, sometimes I use them as Tupperware! I obviously use them for lunch to work the next day. I love their egg drop soup, &lemon chicken but the shrimp in lobster sauce with fried rice or shrimp mein fun are my favorites. I always call for pick up and they usually say 10 or 15 mins & a lot of the time I'll come a couple mins earlier &my food is always ready waiting on the side for me. I've never had an issue with them. I eat there atleast twice a month &the food has been really hot &tastes good and they're always generous w the amount of food! Update: I've had vegetable mein fun(noodles are very thin &sooo good.) the vegetable soup and seafood soup are good but the seafood soup is just vegetable soup w seafood in it so I would recommend just getting the seafood soup incase u can't decide. The lo main noodles were also greasy. Over cooked and no flavor. The only thing decent was the egg roll. The fried rice with Ckn was also greasy, zero flavor. I'm so disappointed. The customer service at this location is both awkward and unusual to go along with some not so good vibes. It was a to go order to. They seem to cater to a certain crowd. Ordered their beef lo mein with steamed rice. Rice was horrible. The beef lo mein has no flavor. For some reason they sprayed perfume into the to go bag? WTF? If I could give zero stars, I would. We order from china jade 1-2 times a week. We ordered food and we were missing an order so we called them. The restaurant owner immediately got defensive and was extremely rude. Their food is amazing, but their customer service is sh*t. If I say I'm missing an order and you say "I added your food to the bag" and we receive it without said food, please double check.
