    Horrible.

I'm so sorry .. but this is actually the worst meal I've ever had in Phoenix. Do not come. Look at the photos from what I got vs their menu, pathetic.

Just based on the chong qing noodles, this isn't really authentic Chinese food. The flavor wasn't bad, but it just wasn't legit. It was pretty salty and oily, and it just felt like a soup with a bunch of random stuff in it. No big chunks of meat or anything, and the noodle texture wasn't like hand-pulled noodles. Service was good, though, and the space was large and interesting. It's open pretty late, so it's a good enough spot to eat at if it's late at night and you need a legit meal.

The food is so good and the servings are huge. The server was kind and service was pretty quick. We sat outside and it was a cute little vibe

I really love the look of their menu , it's so cool and fun to look at . The food is good overall. It may not be the best Chinese restaurant I've tried, but it's definitely not bad at all. I especially enjoyed the beef skewers ,they're my favorite dish here. The orange chicken is tasty too. The desserts were just okay, they look fun and cute, but the flavors were a bit simple for my taste. The staff are very nice, friendly, and quick, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is a little old, but it's still clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a nice place to try , I always enjoy exploring new spots and gaining new experiences

This is a hole in the wall restaurant. The parking is there but not good. Looks like it is mainly for college students walking or scooter to get there. The restaurant has all sorts of decorations for photos. It's interesting for the kids. I ordered a pineapple chicken with rice. It tasted good. The lamb noodle was too salty and the 2 pieces of meat with bone are really fatty. What sucks is the service related things... the waitress is not attentive at all ( I have really low standards going to Hkese restaurants). The table is sticky. The restroom clogs.

If you are craving a lamb or beef skewer check this place out! It's my go to! Not usually too busy when I go, great service, a sorta hole in the wall. I swear that lamb skewer!!! Try it and come back to my post!

Dragon Flame is definitely a feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look there's something to see - - more than one Chinese dragon, stuffed food pillows, lights projected onto the fan, anime characters on the wall, and more. There is a greenery lined patio with seating and its own dragon, a bar with seating, (I'm not sure if they serve any alcohol, but there is an ice cream machine) and a dining room lined with banquette seating, and a regular table. There's some clutter in the corners and behind the bar, and two little pet bowls on the floor - - when we've been here before the owner has come with his two little shih tzu dogs who are allowed to hang out in the dining room. It's is a unique and fun atmosphere. They have menus that look like doors to a Chinese Palace, but it really is just to show you what the most popular dishes are. To see the full menu you scan the QR code, then order on your phone. The order automatically goes to the kitchen and someone will bring you your food. If you like cumin, this is your place! Each time we've come I've noticed there is a lot of cumin. My son really likes it. I wasn't very hungry, so this time we shared one order of cumin chicken, one order of beef skewers, and one egg roll which we cut in half. These are shareable size portions, so we had a lot left to take home after two of us ate. We didn't have dessert, but I do know that people come here specifically for that. They have ice cream that looks like real fried chicken legs, and little molded milk cakes that look like bears and other animals. The parking here is a nightmare. There is a very small parking lot in front, and a small parking lot in back, but some of the spaces and back are designated for the other businesses in this time strip. There's really no other parking because the street is off limits and it is surrounded by apartment buildings. We have actually had to leave and eat someplace else before because of the parking situation. Also, with the dog bowls on the floor, I would presume that, like we saw when we were there last time, little dogs come through and hang out in the restaurant. It doesn't bother me so much, but I think my husband's head would explode if there were dogs roaming free inside a restaurant dining room he was eating at. If this bothers you you, this may not be the place for you.

Chaotic in the absolute best way! Decor was Alice in Asian wonderland, how to order took a minute to understand, and I'm still not sure if they serve wine (I do know they serve beer!) But even writing this review a few days later, I'm contemplating going there again...maybe tonight...maybe right now The food was top tier delicious and large enough to share! Between the 4 of us we got 2 entrees and a bowl of the dumplings AND had some leftovers (which are absolutely fab the next day.) I'll be back for the desserts which I can't wait to try!! Parking is around back so don't get discouraged if you pull up! But also worth a short walk if you have to!

Cool concept and decorations inside! Food took a little bit but I didn't mind too much. Service was good ! Different flavors than what I'm used to personally but overall not too bad. Would come back to try the desserts.

Everything came out quickly ordered through the QR code. With the location being near tempe, the food caters to the asian palette and college students late night meals. They are open till 2 am. The food was ok. the lamb skewers were good and the hot pot was filling. I wasn't a fan of the popcorn chicken in my hot pot. The soggy breading was a turn off. For $39.99 I felt it was over priced. Although I was so excited to try their fried chicken looking ice cream. When it came out I realized it never thawed out after biting into it. It was so hard I could've cracked a tooth. The outdoor ambience gave me a feeling like I was eating out at a night market. The service was subpar knowing there was only one waitress. This place is a one place hitter in my books but for being open so late.. I bet u for those late night munchies this place would attract them all. The desserts are one of a kind, so for those viral types of desserts customers may be reluctant to experience the unique ice cream creations.

One night it was kinda late, and we looked for places and called them to see if they were open till 2. They said they were and last order was about 1 am. Had one of my friend go in a little earlier and placed the order. We had all the food by the time the rest of us reached. The owner was really nice, he came and had a nice conversation with us , the food was great. Really loved the lamb noodles and skewers, the meat was really tender and a perfect blend of the meat and fat. Flavors and spice was well balanced. The portions for the food in general were large, and were very priced. We also didn't know but you can bring your own alcohol. I think it's a really nice place for a late night meal.

This is a legit hole in the wall kinda spot. Met up with some friends here and sat outside. The dumplings were my absolute favorite. Such a great flavor, definitely top tier. The seafood dumplings were good. Really excellent food and large portions. A good dive spot to hit up.

Didn't get a chance to eat the food because we had already eaten. We came here specifically for the animal shaped ice cream. They were so cute! The flavors were limited to coconut, but I love a good coconut dessert. They were less ice cream and more of a creamy jello like consistency though. I don't discriminate against desserts, so I was ok with it. They even came in nicely packaged boxes with bows. We brought one home for my daughter and when she had forgotten about it days later, I got to indulge once again. Ya snooze, ya lose. Can't wait to go back and try the food. It all looks amazing.

They also have outdoor seating with fans and mist to cool you off. I took my order back to the hotel. Let me tell you, the food is phenomenal. That brisket was so moist and perfectly seasoned...gosh it was so good! The pulled pork was fantastic as well. The potato salad was great and definitely made on-site, not from a bag. The beans were really good too. I was really impressed with their offerings and will definitely go back on my next trip to Arizona.

Both come with 2 sides and I enjoyed all their options. The beans have chunks of meat and a bit of spice, the slaw & potato salad are lighter than your usual mayonnaise laden standard. The brisket & pork ribs were melt in your mouth tender! No knife required. The chopped brisket was moist and perfectly sauced, served on a delicious potato bun. The staff were all very friendly. This is definitely not a place to sit at if you don't have to. Very small inside and not much to look at. Now, weather permitting sitting outside and admiring their smoker might be a good option. People come here for the meats: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, BUT!!! Have you had this GREEN CHILE BURRITO?! I beg you to try it if you have not... most people don't know they even have it, but luckily, for my coworker and I, Director of Operations Matt, walked up to us as we dined in last Wednesday and let us sample the Green Chile. As most of you know, I can't hang when it comes to spicy foods, but this chile is THE EXCEPTION (even though it's only "mildly" spicy). We each ordered the 2 meat plate, but we were so appreciative of the sample he gave us, otherwise we would never have known about it. We ended up ordering 2 burritos for our lunch the very next day!! You can also add cheese to it! I went in again for the 3rd day in a row on Friday, since I'm not sure when I'll work in that area again (I was 10 min away all last week)!! I asked my boss if I could work there on Mondays and Fridays, that's how good this burrito is!! They also have a MEAN Pecan Pie. It's called Bekke's Smoked Pecan Pie and it too, is a must try item! Matt told us it's a secret recipe from one of their employees and the crusts are hand pressed daily. Using a machine is just NOT the same, and I believe it! Since I am not sure when I'll make my way back there, I also bought another pie on Friday. So far, I've only had 1 slice because I need to ration accordingly! Prior to my 3 visits last week, I went to this location last July, when a friend was visiting from out of town. The place is clean and welcoming, and they have the best customer service! On Thursday and Friday when I ordered online and picked up, my orders were ready before the estimated pick up time! Mark was at the pick up window both times and he rocks!! I had forgotten to ask for the Banana Pudding I ordered on Wednesday when we dined in. I called as I drove home, realizing I left without it. Amanda was super friendly when she answered the phone and assured me I would have it when I came the next day. Mark delivered and had it in my bag the next day when I picked up our burritos. Service with a smile is what you'll get here! You cannot go wrong no matter what you order here! The meats are absolutely perfect and the flavor profile on everything is mind-blowing! Do yourself a favor and ask for the Green Chile anything next time you're here. Tell them I sent you! Don't sleep on the Banana Pudding or Bekke's Smoked Pecan Pie, either. Something about that smoking process makes the pie stand out from every other pecan pie you've ever tasted, trust me. It's also NOT super sweet like you're probably used to. If you call in, you can't place an order by phone, so do it online and you'll get a text with an estimated time of pick up. You can skip the line inside, too. Just walk up to the pick up window and you're good to go when you ring the little doorbell. There is plenty of parking outside and they even have a large patio space should you choose to dine outside. Thank you, Matt, Mark, Amanda and the rest of the crew at Little Miss BBS Sunnyslope for such a pleasant experience every single time!! I will be back for sure! Oh, but skip the cornbread. This was my only thing on this order I would not order again; it taste like ordinary box cornbread.

Tonight we ordered ribs, pulled pork sandwich with baked beans, potatoes salad and a piece of cornbread. I had to try the bread since I haven't had a good piece of cornbread in a couple years.it did not disappoint, taste just like mine when I fix it. If you don't like sweet bread, you might wanna pass it up. My ribs were a little more tough than last couple times but still delicious and easy to chew right off the bone. Beans and potatoes salad is good but will admit , the potatoe salad is not my favorite. However this is my go to in the area for bbq so far.

As a vegetarian, I was happy to see plenty of sides to choose from, and they did not disappoint. The mac and cheese and potato salad were both solid (7/10), while the rice and beans stood out at an 8/10--smoky, flavorful, and really satisfying. I can only imagine how well everything would pair with their meats. The fries (on the house!) were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. And the BBQ chipotle spicy sauce? Easily the highlight--rich BBQ flavor with a great kick of heat. Service was excellent--ask for Tom--and the ambiance was casual but lively. It was busy for a Friday evening, which says a lot for a spot that feels a bit hidden, yet is right in a prime Tempe location. Definitely worth checking out!

I ordered the burnt brisket ends (for which I had to pay an extra $2). I have had these at other barbq places and they are always extremely tender and delicious. These were not. THEY WERE TOUGH! I couldn't eat most of the pieces. I also ordered the rib tips. Also tough and no flavor. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO GO, FIND ANOTHER BAR-b-Q place. Not worth your time or money.
