The food is so good and the servings are huge. The server was kind and service was pretty quick. We sat outside and it was a cute little vibe

This is a hole in the wall restaurant. The parking is there but not good. Looks like it is mainly for college students walking or scooter to get there. The restaurant has all sorts of decorations for photos. It's interesting for the kids. I ordered a pineapple chicken with rice. It tasted good. The lamb noodle was too salty and the 2 pieces of meat with bone are really fatty. What sucks is the service related things... the waitress is not attentive at all ( I have really low standards going to Hkese restaurants). The table is sticky. The restroom clogs.

If you are craving a lamb or beef skewer check this place out! It's my go to! Not usually too busy when I go, great service, a sorta hole in the wall. I swear that lamb skewer!!! Try it and come back to my post!

Dragon Flame is definitely a feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look there's something to see - - more than one Chinese dragon, stuffed food pillows, lights projected onto the fan, anime characters on the wall, and more. There is a greenery lined patio with seating and its own dragon, a bar with seating, (I'm not sure if they serve any alcohol, but there is an ice cream machine) and a dining room lined with banquette seating, and a regular table. There's some clutter in the corners and behind the bar, and two little pet bowls on the floor - - when we've been here before the owner has come with his two little shih tzu dogs who are allowed to hang out in the dining room. It's is a unique and fun atmosphere. They have menus that look like doors to a Chinese Palace, but it really is just to show you what the most popular dishes are. To see the full menu you scan the QR code, then order on your phone. The order automatically goes to the kitchen and someone will bring you your food. If you like cumin, this is your place! Each time we've come I've noticed there is a lot of cumin. My son really likes it. I wasn't very hungry, so this time we shared one order of cumin chicken, one order of beef skewers, and one egg roll which we cut in half. These are shareable size portions, so we had a lot left to take home after two of us ate. We didn't have dessert, but I do know that people come here specifically for that. They have ice cream that looks like real fried chicken legs, and little molded milk cakes that look like bears and other animals. The parking here is a nightmare. There is a very small parking lot in front, and a small parking lot in back, but some of the spaces and back are designated for the other businesses in this time strip. There's really no other parking because the street is off limits and it is surrounded by apartment buildings. We have actually had to leave and eat someplace else before because of the parking situation. Also, with the dog bowls on the floor, I would presume that, like we saw when we were there last time, little dogs come through and hang out in the restaurant. It doesn't bother me so much, but I think my husband's head would explode if there were dogs roaming free inside a restaurant dining room he was eating at. If this bothers you you, this may not be the place for you.

Chaotic in the absolute best way! Decor was Alice in Asian wonderland, how to order took a minute to understand, and I'm still not sure if they serve wine (I do know they serve beer!) But even writing this review a few days later, I'm contemplating going there again...maybe tonight...maybe right now The food was top tier delicious and large enough to share! Between the 4 of us we got 2 entrees and a bowl of the dumplings AND had some leftovers (which are absolutely fab the next day.) I'll be back for the desserts which I can't wait to try!! Parking is around back so don't get discouraged if you pull up! But also worth a short walk if you have to!

Cool concept and decorations inside! Food took a little bit but I didn't mind too much. Service was good ! Different flavors than what I'm used to personally but overall not too bad. Would come back to try the desserts.

Everything came out quickly ordered through the QR code. With the location being near tempe, the food caters to the asian palette and college students late night meals. They are open till 2 am. The food was ok. the lamb skewers were good and the hot pot was filling. I wasn't a fan of the popcorn chicken in my hot pot. The soggy breading was a turn off. For $39.99 I felt it was over priced. Although I was so excited to try their fried chicken looking ice cream. When it came out I realized it never thawed out after biting into it. It was so hard I could've cracked a tooth. The outdoor ambience gave me a feeling like I was eating out at a night market. The service was subpar knowing there was only one waitress. This place is a one place hitter in my books but for being open so late.. I bet u for those late night munchies this place would attract them all. The desserts are one of a kind, so for those viral types of desserts customers may be reluctant to experience the unique ice cream creations.

One night it was kinda late, and we looked for places and called them to see if they were open till 2. They said they were and last order was about 1 am. Had one of my friend go in a little earlier and placed the order. We had all the food by the time the rest of us reached. The owner was really nice, he came and had a nice conversation with us , the food was great. Really loved the lamb noodles and skewers, the meat was really tender and a perfect blend of the meat and fat. Flavors and spice was well balanced. The portions for the food in general were large, and were very priced. We also didn't know but you can bring your own alcohol. I think it's a really nice place for a late night meal.

This is a legit hole in the wall kinda spot. Met up with some friends here and sat outside. The dumplings were my absolute favorite. Such a great flavor, definitely top tier. The seafood dumplings were good. Really excellent food and large portions. A good dive spot to hit up.

Didn't get a chance to eat the food because we had already eaten. We came here specifically for the animal shaped ice cream. They were so cute! The flavors were limited to coconut, but I love a good coconut dessert. They were less ice cream and more of a creamy jello like consistency though. I don't discriminate against desserts, so I was ok with it. They even came in nicely packaged boxes with bows. We brought one home for my daughter and when she had forgotten about it days later, I got to indulge once again. Ya snooze, ya lose. Can't wait to go back and try the food. It all looks amazing.

The menu was v packed with so many options!! Small intimate place. I tried the canned tea and it was too sweet for me. Maybe because I thought it would be unsweetened and wouldn't have to shake.. Food was good would be worth checking out with bigger party to share food. Very filling. I would possibly return during the colder months

I was slightly underwhelmed when we visited this place. The service was not really there because we had to order off of a QR code and that's how they processed the order. We were given bottled water but that was it. We were not really asked how the food was or if we needed anything. The food was good except for the lamp noodle soup- it didn't have flavor in the broth it was bland- but the rice was good! Good flavor and lots of meat in the rice dish. The best part were the desserts! I got a dog cake for my birthday and the dragons breath which was pretty fun to breath the smoke out. Overall, it was an okay place. Would I return? Maybe for the desserts.

Delicious fresh food with great service. My friend took me to this place and I really enjoyed it. We had the lemon chicken, ramen, fresh dumplings and dessert. What I love about the food is the natural flavors and I did not feel bloated afterwards. The place is small so it gets full fast but it is so worth it.

Dragon Flame is a very tasty place to eat. It is close to the ASU campus and is reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal and the experience.

Order at the cashier, grab a number, and food will be served to you. Needless to say, I ordered the 4. Shanghai pork mini soup dumplings which were $10.25 for 6 dumplings. I would've loved less dough, more soup, overall bigger portion size (larger dumplings or more of them). Otherwise, the soup itself was tasty. We also ordered the 14. Chongqing Fried Spicy Chicken $13.95, which was a platter of boneless chicken and peppers. I was very impressed with the crisp exterior but soft/juicy interior of the chicken. I'm not usually a spice person, but I was left feeling tingly but not in pain and not numb. Overall I found Heng's Kitchen to be disproportionately pricey given the taste and portion sizes. I'm pretty critical and discerning about my XLB, and this place did not totally satisfy my craving, although I was pleasantly surprised about the chicken. Note: rice is not included with any dish and is $1 extra. Free room-temperature self-serve water available.
