Iced Vietnamese coffee
Gary G.

First it might be best to walk, take light rail or ride share app to get there due to difficult parking. I was very fortunate to find a spot right in front. You order at the counter then take a seat and the friendly staff brings the food to you. I ordered vegetable pho and ca phê sửa da which was very good and of generous size. The pho broth lacked richness and possibly salt but the vegetables were fresh so overall I enjoyed it and give it 4 stars. 5 stars for the iced Vietnamese coffee. The decor is nice and the environment is clean and tidy. This restaurant is locally owned.

Came here after a night of drinking with friends and it definitely hit the spot! They are open late and food came out very quickly! The cashier was warm and friendly. Since this place is near a university, it was open late and quite popular. The broth was decent and they even accommodated extra noodles for my husband. It is a little on the pricey end but that is to be expected.

Pho with Beef Jasmine Milk Tea with boba 3 Piece Spring Rolls (shrimp)

The pho and shrimp spring rolls are extremely good, definitely my favorite place to get Pho. The only thing I don't like abt this area (and it isn't their fault) is the parking but expect it to be like that anywhere near Mill Ave. I do really enjoy this spot tho! The ambiance is chill and the service is very good

Went to this cute place while visiting my daughter at ASU. Convenient location with lots of parking in the back. We ordered the vegetable pho and boy was it good. Vegetables came on the side with a spoon chopsticks and plenty of napkins. The broth was a perfect combination of savory and salty. Everything was fresh. The decor was modern with a huge TV on the wall showing still shots of exotic locations around the world. There was table side service and our plates were cleared promptly. When in the mood for pho don't pass this place up.

Parking can be difficult here. We parked on the street with metered parking. Food itself was okay, nothing extraordinary in my opinion. Compared to other pho establishments I thought the broth was alright, somewhat sweet. Will say it's next to ASU and open late so that's great.

Fresh Alley Vermicelli Noodle with Korean BBQ ribs on the bottom, Spring Rolls up top and Ube to the right of them

My lovely girlfriend and I decided to DoorDash some dinner last week on 10.30.25 and I told her to browse through my saved stores on it and let her pick someplace out. This was what she wound up picking and I'm glad she did! I've been here before, once with a buddy of mine, and though I can't say much about the inside of the place as I don't remember too much about it, it was a nice serviceable, chill little spot in downtown Tempe and I'm sure it's a great spot for college students to go and lounge/eat at. The DoorDash we got consisted of Pho fresh noodle soup for my girlfriend with a side of the beef spring rolls, and vermicelli noodles with Korean BBQ ribs for me with a side of egg rolls and an ube drink. The ube drink was absolutely delicious and was probably my favorite part of the meal, with the Korean BBQ ribs being my second favorite part. I believe in ube supremacy, that shit is a holy elixir. The taste of the Korean barbecue wings was exquisite as well, and the noodles were pretty solid but nothing too crazy. I will say it gave me 0 stomach issues after eating so that is an absolute win in my book. My girlfriend loved the fresh noodle soup, and the egg rolls were delicious and their sweet and sour sauce was amazingly tasty! I put my noodles in a bowl with some of her broth and it definitely elevated them in terms of taste, their broth is served like a warm hug from a loved one, it is very refreshing and smooth. Overall we like this place and we will more than likely DoorDash it again in the future or maybe we will stop in next time we're in Tempe, we'll see. Solid spot that I'd recommend to anyone living nearby or any ASU student

Beef Pho

Fastest wait time ever, delicious Pho and boba! I come here all the time. The tables and decorations are cute too

Pho shrimp

I ordered the food by DoorDash, and it was very tasty. I got the shrimp fresh rolls, shrimp pho, and starry lychee. The fresh rolls were ok but not the best I've had. They were smaller than usual and difficult to chew, but the peanut sauce was nicely flavored and thin enough to dip or pour. I liked the zingy flavor of the peanut sauce. The pho was a nice generous portion with lots of extra sauces that i requested. The shrimp was plentiful and fresh, but some of the salad ingredients could have been more fresh. The starry lychee was delicious!

2 Piece VEGGIES Spring Rolls

It's busy after 8pm because all other Pho restaurants close and it is open until midnight. The Pho is good with good size portions. They have small sides though. If you order a side of vegetables it's not worth it. Good place to eat in or take out. Lots of other items on there menu too. Parking can be a problem there. Next to ASU so if you're walking it's a great location.

VEGGIES Spring Rolls

Cute little restaurant close to my daughter's apartment complex. My husband' and I ordered drinks and they were on point. Customer service was awesome. But, I do have to agree with some previous comments on here about the meat. It did taste a little off. At least in the Pho we had it with. Though, I do have to say the shrimp veggies spring rolls were great!. Being honest, If you're in to Pho and you've had your share of GOOD Pho before you'll be disappointed here.

Overpriced for what you get. Portions are small, flavor's mid, and there are way better (and cheaper) Viet spots just down the street.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience at Saigon Jade. I'm still trying to figure out…read morewhat we paid for here. My aunt was served a bowl that was dirty on the outside (yes... the bowl, not just the table -- see the photo I attached). Not exactly appetizing... and she didn't eat it at all, it was completely untouched. We told the staff immediately, and instead of, I don't know.. like maybe apologizing or replacing it like a normal restaurant?.. They basically said it was our fault and still charged us for the untouched dish. So just to confirm: you can serve dirty dishes and still get paid? That is a interesting business model, I've never seen anything like it! Then they hit us with a 20% service fee, which is honestly kind of iconic considering the service was: * ignoring customers * denying what we clearly told them * and charging us anyway Like... thank you for the experience I guess??? And to top it off, after I actually ate there, I had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea. So NOT only do you pay for food you don't eat, you might also leave with a free health issue! LOVE THAT!!! As someone who is Vietnamese, this was just embarrassing. You expect better standards, better hospitality, and at the very least... clean bowls??? Overall, if you enjoy paying for untouched food, being gaslit, and risking your stomach, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd look for somewhere else to eat.

The first time I had it, I actually couldn't stop thinking about it because I was genuinely surprised with how good it was. I also noticed that they are very consistent with the taste of the broth. Usually when I get pho, the broth doesn't always taste the same but here at Saigon it does. The broth is very rich and savory. I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2. I also recommend the egg rolls, they're packed with flavor and honestly it's just a good appetizer to have before your pho. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious. Every time I've gone there's never any wait. The service has also been great, I've had maybe 1 time where it wasn't as great but it was still good. The food always comes out fresh and very hot. Overall, I love this restaurant so much and I will continue coming back!

The food was delicious, we loved the papaya salad so much, there were so many flavors of spicy and tangy, and the papaya itself was very refreshing. We had the Pad kee mao and Panang curry which were also delicious. For the chicken pad kee mao we requested it to be gluten free and they gave us the same rice noodles as the Pad Thai and a slightly different sauce which was so darn good! The chicken was very tender. When the Panang curry said it came with beef, I didn't know what to think but after a single bite I was a huge fan! So many flavors hit you at once and the beef was so incredible, it was falling part.
