The workers in this location are very unhygienic. They cross contaminate & do not change gloves after wiping counter. At least in 2 different incidences the workers made my food right after wiping counter with the same gloves. Touch garbage & don't change gloves. Veg food & non veg food is touched with the same serving spoon. Veggie plate had pieces of meat in it. Overall I almost threw up twice after I ate their food. This Chipotle is super busy. I felt like I was being rushed while ordering my food and the food for my two kids. I ordered the Tacos. The person making it, forgot to add the beans and gave me chicken when I asked for the shredded beef. Plus the tables were dirty and it seem like there was no one in the dining room keeping the area clean. I would recommend going to the Chipotle on Route 17 in Ramsey. Did a pickup order of 9 lunches. Food was OK but they forgot a lunch. I called up to cancel the order and get a refund for that meal and was told that I had to use their online customer service. 3 times I went and made my request and I did not get any response. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A SCAM! They do not send an email acknowledging that they received my request. I doubt that the customer service 'Ask Pepper' goes anywhere. What can I say about this? Hmmm, I guess I can start about by saying, there is nothing Mexican or Tex-Mex about this place. You can call it a place of wraps, maybe. They have a fresh selection of veggies, some cooked meats to throw in and condiments to smother. I have no problem with this place, actually I quite enjoy a wrap here and there, but at the same time with the name Mexican Grill I expected more Mexican flavor than what I can get in a Taco Bell burrito. The meat and rice are flavorless and that key element is what separates them from being a Mexican burrito into a Shop-Rite premade wrap. The beans look like they just opened a can and heated it up. Stopped at the Mall to return some stuff and buy new clothes. I was surprised that it was jammed packed on a Tuesday at 1pm. But anyway we were at the food court. Some good choices but our little hearts and tummys wanted so chipolte. Long line no biggie. The line of the workers were a bit unfriendly but whatever they were just in a rush. Only reason I gave 4 stars. And because they got my order right. The food was magic everything was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed Evey bite. I'm a fan of Chipotle in general but this location is a major hit or miss, and it's been a "miss" the past few times I've been here. The staff is extremely stingy with the meat portions (and this is coming from someone who doesn't like a lot of meat so that says something!) yet are heavy handed with the rice and sour cream portions!! yuck! I go to Chipotle to get a burrito bowl, not a bowl filled with what looks like runny white Elmer's glue! I'd also like to note that during my most recent visit, the shredded lettuce (which usually looks to be cut into thin shreds) looked more like a family of large rodents had torn off chunky pieces of lettuce - very large, oddly shaped pieces of lettuce that had discolored edges. If you're looking for Chipotle within the "neighboring" towns, I'd recommend checking out the locations in Englewood or Fort Lee. Chipotle Paramus - you need to step it up. read more

I love chipotle and come at least 4 times a week. I just got home with my chipotle and am upset at the lady with the glasses who spoke to me with such an ​attitude. The line was out of control because the servers didn't​​t know what they were doing. I asked for a salad bowl 3 times before the server got it correct and paid when i was still standing in front of the guac so i had to chance to scan my points due to the people waiting for their food in front of me. First off, let me say I love Chipotle. I go usually once a week and sometimes more. I have been to this specific Chipotle on Route 4 Paramus many times due to the fact that it is the closest one to my house and I go to the one in Englewood because it is close to where I work. This one in Paramus is the cheapest Chipotle I have ever been to. For example, they dish out the guac like it is gold. Your better off getting it on the side and putting it on yourself instead of asking them to put it on top of your bowl. Ridiculous! Every single time I go they literally put a tablespoon of guac. Whenever I go to the one in Englewood they put a whole scoop on top. The last time I went I literally had an entire layer of guac on top. I mean, this is how it should be!! And it is not just the guac, it goes for the meat as well. When you order a chicken bowl with basically everything on it, your bowl should be heavy and almost coming out on top. I am not joking, I have gotten chicken bowls here where it was half way filled. How does that even happen?! Btw, I am not this overweight, enormous person who complains about not getting proportions that don't explode my jeans buttons! I am just saying that the consumer knows when he/she is getting jipped. I literally eat at this place almost everyday. The food fits perfectly into my diet and getting a burrito fills me up after a long day. Typically I get a burrito that's fine wrapped with two tortillas which makes it possible to fit the amount of stuff in it especially when you get double meat. Came here the other night for take out after a long weekend away with my boyfriend. He is typically very picky about these types of places because the vegetables scare him. So after I convinced him that he can pick exactly which ingredients he wants in his burrito, we went there. While we were eating, he mentioned more than once that his burrito was really really good. Mine was very good too, my only complaint is that it was falling apart before I even opened the wrapping. But the food itself was tasty and they give so much that I was able to make 2 meals out of my burrito! Also-they gave us a free tortilla to take with us which we gave to our dog and the dog was really happy about his treat. Honestly the best CMG location in North Jersey. Service here is supurb; most on the line are regulars that have been there for a while and they have the art of serving down to a science. Dont laugh, working at a CMG has to be tough, especially when busy ... this place works every time, and that is why I continue to go back. The service is unfriendly thanks to a South American-looking women at the register who literally throws you your food without a thank you or goodbye. Chipotle was always ok in my book. Until I visited this store. The service was so bad I do not plan to go back. I was picking out my toppings to go in my burrito bowl and the woman behind me thought it was her bowl. The person behind the counter added her topping before I could say anything, when I said that's my bowl the person behind the counter goes "oh. Well I can give you her bowl it has the same toppings." Not wanting to throw out perfectly good food I said that's fine. When I finished and went to the counter the girl told me the total and I was like ?? Why is it that price? And she said the extra meat makes it more expensive. And I said I never picked any extra meat. The guy over there messed up and now I was being charged for it. Not only that. And I know it sounds pretty petty. But having extra meat and white rice when I wanted brown rice and a regular portion of meat is upsetting. Especially since chipotle is based off picking what items you want. Needless to say make sure the person handling your food isn't looking to kick you off the line as quickly as possible. read more

Out of all the chipotles I've been to they are the stingiest with the portions and I'm pretty sure they're violating some rules about that (the other reviews are right about the portions). She was complaining to another employee using foul language and derogatory terminology. The customer in front of me tried to seem as though he wasn't paying attention.
