I got chicken tinga, al pastor, and chorizo and they were all very good, packed with flavor. Chicken tinga is nice shredded up chicken with really good flavor. The Alpastor was very good, great flavor cooked good. Comes topped with pineapple. The chorizo was my favorite it was slightly spicy but great flavor. Love that it's crumpled up. I only gave it 4/5 stars cause it was a bit pricey it was $21 for 4 tacos but they were very good definitely worth the money. Service was great you can order from the person or there is a iPad to order on. They came out fast. Lots of seating inside as well, high top tables and regular tables towards the back. They moved the store from NJ-17S to Bergen Town Center, but the store still looks amazing. The art work, murals and wall paints are still there. Benched are smaller. But the tacos are still so amazing. Staff members are very friendly at register and the ordered get served within minutes. We have been to the store multiple times in last couple of months. Love the chicken Al pastor, carne asada and pollo tacos that come with so many ingredients. We just discovered the chicken quesadilla is also top notch. Of course can't get enough of their street corn and the guacamole. I wish they add a bit more flavor the carne asada. I have signed up for the rewards account that gets me points for every dollar. My friend and I recently tried Tacoria and had a really great experience. We ordered the chicken nachos, a burrito bowl, and the guava basil juice -- everything was fresh and full of flavor. The nachos were piled high with toppings and the burrito bowl was super satisfying. What really stood out to us was the customer service. My friend has a gluten allergy and the staff took the time to explain their options and further explained that they have a dedicated gluten-free flyer. That honestly made us feel really comfortable eating there, knowing they take allergies seriously and that there's very little chance of cross contamination. The Paramus Tacoria has been one of our go-to spots while it was housed at Crossroads. A few weeks ago, we grabbed dinner at the new location in Bergen Town Center for the first time. The big difference is it's way busier of the foot traffic from the mall, so getting a table (along with a parking spot) is harder. The eatery is smaller at BTC, but looks nice, new, and bright inside - though I will miss that giant Frieda Kahlo mural at the old space. But most importantly and what matters most is that the food at Tacoria hasn't changed and still hits the spot. read more

I will never give Tacoria my business again. Ordered pollo tinga nachos, no beans. I emphasized no beans because I don't like beans, and luckily I can't have them due to my GI issues. We love a good taco spot. We have frequented the Montclair Tacoria location, and are huge fans, so this Paramus location did not disappoint. As expected, cool industrial decor, spacious seating, and friendly staff. This location is clean and has indoor and outdoor seating. You can see them grilling all proteins fresh right in the open. Nothing sits around here pre-cooked. Chorizo, al pastor, chicken tinga, and steak tacos were all incredible. All proteins were tender, flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Guacamole was very good! My other half loved the street corn! Agua Fresca was excellent, especially the guava basil. Overall, this will be a new regular spot for us. If I were to order anything it would be any of the salads with any of the proteins. For me, I had the carne asada salad. Had some avocado on top and some corn and veggies. Real good, very flavorful. I think the downside would be the prices as it is a bit expensive for the portion that we're getting as the portions for any of the other dishes were a little small. Other than that, this would be a good stop-n-go spot if you have a hankering for some mainstream Mexican food. This was my second visit to Tacoria. My first time was with a Yelp elite event. The event was well organized and they gave us cute swag (taco holders). J thought the vibe was fun and the art on the walls is funky. The service was pleasant on both visits (although my friend waited a long time for his order today. Mu j more than you'd expect for a burrito). The menu feels like more Americanized Mexican than authentic Mexican. I do like the wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options though like golden avocado, beyond meat and brussel sprouts all as protein choices (granted neither Brussel sprouts or avocado have much protein). They also have cool variety in their drinks- both fountain drinks and Mexican jarritos and flavored waters. The best thing on their menu surprisingly is their chips which are made in house. Get the chips! For my meal today I had chicken pollo asado tacos. Last time I had tacos from here I remember being disappointed because the taste was missing something. Today it was much better. The chicken paired nicely with the fresh cream and cotija cheese. I had four small ones and that was enough to fill me up, but you can mix and match proteins. My friend got the.ñ beyond burrito which he liked as well. It's not huge. It's about the size of a normal wrap but it's enough to fill you up. I've been to another tacoria when I was a meat eater. I was so impressed with all the plant based options, I had to try them all. I won't take the food to go because I don't want microplastics poisoning my food and polluting the environment for the next 450 years. We couldn't eat outside because it was wet, but they let me bring my dog inside and sit on my lap while we ate. I don't think you would know that the tacos with beyond meat don't have real meat. They were delicious. I also tried the avocado, brussel sprout and corn tacos. They were all delicious. The tacos with the fried avocado were especially delicious and easy to eat since the avocado was one fried unit. The atmosphere and decor is inviting and they do have outdoor dining. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and quick. My only complaint is all the plastic. I will always choose the Tacoria over Chipotle any day. The menu of the Tacoria is more extensive and offers lots of different options in regards to protein with your meal. I used to always get chicken in my meals, but a fellow Yelper tipped me off to their Brussels Sprouts and I will not go back! Their Brussles Sprouts are to DIE for. They are cooked perfectly every time and have a delicious glaze over them. I usually get the Ensalada with Brussels Sprouts. The pineapple dressing goes so well with the salad. It's a perfect sized portion and I always feel satisfied after eating it. Sometimes if I am feeling crazy I'll get the Mexican Street corn. It is SO good and super flavorful. It almost tastes like a dessert that's how good it is. And I always bring home an order of the Nutella nachos to eat later with my family. The nutella nachos are sosososososoooooo good. Cinnamon sugar chips with nutella and powdered sugar drizzled on top is the best dessert ever. The over indulgent girl in me wants the cinnamon and sugar chips on the bottom to have a layer of nutella too, then that would be perfect! I've always had excellent service when coming to this Tacoria. They always great me with a smile and are very patient with their customers. They always explain the menu if needed and give you plenty of time to decide. I also love the decor on the outside and inside. The mural on the wall with the graffiti makes it such a cool vibe. It's strange, because usually up until recently, my reviews we're more positive. The service is friendly and fast, that's the three stars, absolutely. Beyond that, at least to me, the decor is unremarkable, and the food is unremarkable. Meanwhile I spent almost $20 and am still hungry. Sometimes I think places are capitalizing on this whole stupid tariff war garbage as an excuse to hike up prices everywhere. I could be wrong on that, but all I know is when I spend over $15 on essentially fast food, that should stretch enough to fill my belly and not leave me hungry. So friendly wonderful service, quick service, unremarkable decor, unremarkable food that neither offers quality or quantity to validate the price tag at least according to my sensibilities, best I can give these nice people is three stars if I'm being honest. It's not a bad experience, but I didn't find it satisfying either other than the friendliness and promptness of the people who work here. 3.5 stars I am a huge fan of Tacoria, so I was looking forward to trying another location of theirs. The Paramus spot did not have the fancy self-service ordering system that they had in other offshoots, but the staff was friendly and efficient, so it really did not negatively impact the ordering experience. I selected 2 Brussels Sprout Tacos and 1 Chicken Tinga Taco, and they were all completely stuffed with their appropriate fillings. As always, my favorite taco, the sprout one, was divine. As much as I am not always a mayo person, their spicy aioli really took that variety to the next level. The chicken taco included pulled meat that had been spiced with habanero peppers. It was also tasty, but the chicken was just the slightest bit dry. We always drove past Tacoria whenever in the Paramus area and finally decided to check it out, and I'm glad we did. The interior was spacious with some really nice artwork all around. Definitely a great restaurant for dine-in lunch or dinner. We ordered two burrito bowls, one chicken, one carne asada, a side of golden avocados, tortilla and guac, and drinks. The burrito bowls were very good, full of flavor and filling. The golden avocados were lightly fried and very good; it's the first time I've had fried avocado and was pleasantly surprised. The guac was fresh and homemade and the tortilla chips were perfect. Other Mexican restaurants, at times, have stale tortilla chips but that wasn't the case here. The drink options were unique, with the option to choose from horchata, guava and basil and lemonade. We tasted them all and they were all good. Very modern brunch type interior design which is cozy. Service is great and food comes out fast. Burritos and quesadillas are the steal here. You get much more bang for your buck compared to how pricey the tacos are. My girlfriend and I love their Al Pastor, it is among the best we've had even among small family owned taco places. We both get the burritos and I got two chorizo tacos which were spicy but very juicy and full of meat. The chips are extremely crunchy/thick and guac is pretty flavorful but nothing that stands out. We come back here when craving mexican that isn't chipotle type mexican and it usually hits the spot. The free extra sides of sour creams are also life savers! When they were on route 17 they were amazing, but since they've moved to Bergen town center they have gone downhill and we are ordering way less than we used to because of that bc the location is terrible and so hard to get into to. It seems they don't have enough staff. There's always a wait even when you order ahead. They should've stayed where they were on route 17. I drive past this stretch of New Jersey a few times a month, and Tacoria has become one of my favorite spots to stop at meal times. Important points: 1. The food is good. Burrito boxes, en-salad-as, tacos, quesadillas...I like it all. Al pastor is my go-to, but I've dabbled with some pollo and some chorizo, and the food is flavorful, well-balanced, and looks pretty good too. 2. There's a kids' menu. (I'm actually not in the habit of ordering kids' food for my kids, but Mexican food generally has too much flavor for their basic palates.) This means I can bring my kids here, and since my kids are always with me when I drive past here, it means it works. Plain corn, cheese quesadillas, kids nachos...when I put these things in my kids' mouths, they stop making noise, and I like that. 3. The decor is colorful and fun, and the branding is all pretty slick. It must be a chain, but it's a good one if it is. 4. Golden avocados. I love avocado, and they fried it, and gave me a tasty dipping sauce (that is also great for the cheese quesadillas my kids sometimes don't finish). 5. The people have always been nice, and pretty cool about my kids running around. If you haven't noticed, my kids liking this place is paramount to my liking this place. And we all like it. This location of this small chain has plenty of parking in a strip mall on a major highway. Staff is friendly. Not a big store. It has approximately 5 bench style tables that can accommodate 6 each. I actually went here for a Yelp event and came back to see if it was as good as then. It is. Usual selection of tacos, burritos, and bowls. Pick a style then add a protein ( avocado for the vegetarians). Love my Al Pastor burrito. Good size and loaded with flavor. Tacos come 3 to an order. Mexican street corn is very good and was the "Golden Avocado" side. ( basically deep fried avocado wedges served with a dipping sauce). Refillable fountain services available as well as a bottle selections. Only dessert on the menu was Nutella Nachos ( we didn't try). I really like the selection of bottled and house prepared sauces. Most are hot but they have this smokey BBQ sauce that is righteous! One thing that they need improve the experience is to move the garbage bins. It is a wooden cabinet with duel bins ( trash and recyclables) that is right under the shelf with all the straws and cup lids. Inches away from the soda fountain service. This is my first time eating at Tacoria. My initial impression was that it is such a cute restaurant with a very vibrant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating with suggestions. We ordered a steak burrito (finished it all before taking a photo ‍). It was very delicious. I ordered it with less rice, and it was just perfect with the different flavors. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was a hit. They were generous with the amount of cheese and chicken inside it. They offer a few different sides. We ordered the Mexican street corn, and it was scarfed down. The corn was sweet, and the toppings were just perfect. Side note: On everything we ordered, I put the hot sauce on the side because we don't all like heat. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're craving Mexican food! Yet all they'll tell you is "we use DoorDash." This time the driver just never showed up to pick up the food. When I called they admitted the food was sitting there for 45 minutes (and counting). Why would I want food that was sitting on their pick-up table for that long? They refunded our money, but we had ordered over an hour before and now had to pivot to a new place. I was recommended this restaurant by one of my work colleagues when I asked them for their favorite place to eat in Paramus. Paramus is known for their shopping, not for their food. But this place is perfect for your post-shopping munchies. It's located in a strip mall. I liked the ambiance - it's a big open space, counter service, music. The walls are decorated to make it feel like a hole in the wall. We got chips and guac, tacos, quesadilla, rice. The food felt like fairly standard Mexican fare. The rice is tomato rice (it's orange); it's seasoned well. We were confused by the quesadilla - it was wrapped like a burrito and looked and tasted like a thin burrito.
