Now That Is Teamwork ! It's a smooth ride at Bro-Ritos. They really know how to keep things moving along even when it's super busy. So, basically, the shortest possible wait. Love the food. Definitely my fave for a delicious burrito. - Peter Hackensack read more

The service was great. Attentive and friendly staff despite the event crowd. The absolute worst burrito I've ever had. In fact, it was the singularly worst food item I've ever paid for. The chicken tasted like a combination of flatulence, vomit, and genitalia. The only thing that makes sense is that the chicken was spoiled. It was offensive. My friend and I each threw away our burritos after two bites, despite paying $22/burrito. Buyer beware... the food was vile. read more

Went to the Rangers/Devils game at Prudential Center last night. My wife and I were going to get our usual chicken fingers and a pretzel, but we got sidetracked when the smell from the Broritos stand hit us. WOW are we glad we stopped. Not only was the vendor incredibly friendly, the burritos were amazing. These burritos were better than chipotle hands down, and to get that quality at a sporting event had me in heaven. You have many different options to choose from for fillings as well, (naturally I tried to add a little of everything) and they were happy to accommodate. My wife got their nachos, which were easily a 10/10. Fair pricing, amazing food and super friendly, outgoing staff. We were both so happy we stopped for these guys instead of the usual okay Chicken fingers and fries sold by the arena. Best option when going to a Devils game, hands down! read more

Had an opportunity to try these bro's burritos at as you might guess it, a f festival, beer festival to be exact and needed some good food to go with our beers. We saw the name which grabbed me and my friend. Aside from the long line the menu item names then got our attention. I went with the "Big Fella, Bro! Burrito" which was loaded with chicken, beef, peppers and beans wrapped tightly. It was really good, and the guys serving it up were real chill which is always nice, especially when you can imagine it might not be easy when there are long lines to deal with. Aside from Bro-rito Burritos, they have tacos, which got positive approval from my friend and quesadillas, both of which I think are slightly cheaper than the burritos. If you see Bro-ritos at your festival or event, give them a try. read more

Bro-ritos They have a nice and simple menu. Who doesn't love burritos. I was happy to see veggie options. I saw pretty good reviews on Yelp so I had to check it out. I got the black bean bro and my boyfriend got the beef bro. For my burrito I added guacamole, lettuce, hot sauce. $12.80 My boyfriend got got guacamole, lettuce, hot sauce and salsa on his. $13.80 The burritos got there within an okay time ordered through door dash. Unfortunately the burritos were cold and we had to heat them up. If they are sitting at the counter for a while they should keep them warm at least or make new ones. Taste wise my boyfriend enjoyed his he said the flavor was decent not terrible. There was a small amount of guacamole on his. Which was funny on mine there was so much guacamole I had to take out some. My burrito wasn't anything special. I ate about half of it. I probably wouldn't order again. They could definitely make their veggie burrito way more flavorful. Other than adding beans. There's many options to make a veggie burrito tasty. For delivery I would just make sure it leaves the restaurant hot. I don't live for from the store so it shouldn't end up being cold. 3/5 for me. read more

Tasty cold taco! The meat was cold as hell, I know it's an oxymoron but it is what it was. I ordered some tacos and asked if I could have some extra sauce on the side. He told me he had already put sauce on the taco. I asked him again if he had any sauce I could have on the side. Instead of telling me what kind of sauce he had available, he asked me what kind of sauce I wanted. The service is bad, with a young lady sitting at the counter looking at her phone while the cook answers the questions cause she didn't know anything. A customer came in and asked her, how much for a Burrito, she had to look at the menu to answer the question. The cook, or owner I assume told the lady $10.00 is the lowest price for a burrito. The lady left without ordering. It seems this young man knows how to cook, however he needs to know that front of the house employees and customer service are truly important to the customer experience. He made his name on a food truck but a restaurant requires something more than just take an order and serve it. read more

Ended the day yesterday enjoying this view of the Manhattan skyline and a burrito bowl from Bro-Ritos in Hoboken! My boyfriend and I got the "Big Fella Bro Burrito Bowl" from the Brorito food truck at Pier 13. This bowl was HUGE, so if you get it I recommend sharing with one other person. The flavors in it were absolutey perfect and blended so well with every single element in the dish. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you're in Hoboken! read more

It was LOVE @ First bite..... Period! I got wind of this gem while surfing IG and I am super glad I got in my car and took a ride, not like I had any thing else to do so I said why not. I had already heard from several people online that it was good and that I wouldn't be disappointed but as a Foodie... I know there is LEVELS to this palate/ taste buds!! LOL I get there was greeted by 2 young black men eager to get my order and serve me as a customer! I tell what what I heard and what I to order! I was handed a menu but didn't need it as I already stalked online and called..lol Chicken Quesadilla Please!! They began to prepare the order asked me what sides such as sour cream etc. I am a sour cream girl and I had prayed and even commented online that they used good quality Sour Cream.... when the young man went and grabbed the Daisy Sour Cream Squirt container...my whole heart just melted!! It's a fav of mines and no guarantee your going to get it at a restaurant but they had it!! I paid and told them I was going to my car to test... went to car where I had already had an ice cold Ice Tea waiting... opened my container...my Quesadilla and sour cream were neatly seated and piping hot ready for me to bite.....IT WAS TRULY LOVE @ FIRST BITE!!! CHICKEN- TENDER, WELL SEASONED, WELL BLENDED onions/tomatoes all together & cheesy with a little chipotle kick, the tortilla has a lil crisp to it and the nice sour cream to dip, truly a sexy foodie experience!!! Thanks Fellas!! God Bless and please know I will be back!! :-) read more

Bro-Ritos - Chicken Quesadilla!!!! Amazing - Food Trucks Near Me - Hackensack, New Jersey

A.W.E.S.O.M.E.!!! Stopped in for the very first time today just because I thought the name of the restaurant was C.O.O.L. Greeting me was a really nice guy, John, who also happened to be one of the owners. First off...let me just say that the place is sooooo clean that my compulsive clean-a-holic Japanese mother would've given them 2 thumbs up. The lime green color on the walls was bright & cheerful and the Bro-Ritos graphic on the wall let you know right away you have arrived. I'm a design nut...so I have a lot of respect when small business owners put a lot of thought into branding. Good job guys! Now for the food...I chose the Beef burrito ...errr...I mean...BRO-RITO (my bad) only because John said it was his most popular choice. Frankly though...the other selections on the menu looked yummy too. I told John...give me the works (sans hot sauce 'cause my wife isn't a fan). And MAN OH MAN...this thing was huge. I'm 64...so I don't have the appetite I had when I was 20...so there was no way possible I was going to eat this whole thing. I ate 1/2 and I was done :D My wife ate 1/2 of the remaining 1/2....and BOY OH BOY...John did not disappoint. It was F.L.A.V.O.R.F.U.L. and had just the right amount of spice. Simply put...it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! John told me they now have 2 food trucks in addition to this brick'n'mortar location so I will certainly be on the lookout for their bright lime green Bro-Ritos trucks. I only have one more thing to add...if you're in the mood for something fast and delish that won't break the bank and you also love Mexican-style burritos...move over Chipotle, 'cause BRO-RITO's is the J.O.I.N.T.!!! read more

Solid burritos. Nice and stuffed? Lol. Tried the chipotle chicken and the beef. I liked the chicken one better had more of an authentic vibe. Was even better the next day (couldn't eat that whole thing in one sitting). The beef was missing some spices. For me, it just taste like ground beef I would use for spaghetti. Great price. Fast service from the bros. Only complaint is both burritos were waaayy too salty. read more

Tried Bro-Ritos today for the first time after passing it many times, and it was delicious! We had an issue with a coupon we wanted to use, but the owner handled it very kindly. The food is all super fresh; love the ground beef - it's very flavorful and lean, and the salsa is on point. I'll be back! read more

I wish I would've taken a pic to share but it smelled so lovely on the way home, we went IN! Soo much flavor! I got the Skkrimp burrito and it was massive. I definitely didn't think I was going to finish it but it was lunch and dinner :) I picked up the Big Fella bowl for my picky 15 year old boy and to quote "this is Fiyya". The Suavamente sounds delish.. wish it came in other protein options(pesceterian here.. hint hint) New SPOT for us! read more

Run... do not walk but run to this spot ASAP. Luckily for me their food truck was outside my apartment complex. However, they have a store front too! I ordered the big fella and it was PACKED with chicken, ground beef, peppers, rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. I'm not an onion eater so I stayed away from their salsa and guacamole. Honestly, the way they seasoned their peppers is RIDICULOUS.. they have a dish that has just that so I'll def be having that next time. This is a must! read more

I had initially heard about Bro-Ritos from a friend and been on the hunt for them ever since. I was stoked to finally run into them today at the Tulip Fest. The line was expectedly long, but definitely worth the wait! I ordered a Black Bean Bro (burrito) with cheese, salsa, hot sauce, peppers and guacamole. Now I've had my fair share of burritos, and I've gotta say, Bro-Ritos has easily made it into my top. Though only a food truck, quality and taste were on par with any burrito you'd find at a restaurant. Many layers of complimentary flavors, especially for a vegetarian burrito! After finally placing my order, my burrito was ready very quickly. By the time I placed my order at the first window and paid at the next window, I was all set. I felt the pricing was fair, $10 for my burrito + $2 extra for guacamole, along with $2 drinks (bottled water, can sodas, etc.) They also accept both cash and credit. Nearing the end of the festival, they started to understandably run out of items, but the brothers maintained a positive and friendly demeanor the entire time. All in all, a solid burrito from a solid duo. Looking forward to whenever I can catch them next! read more

Just picked up my Bro-Ritos ; big fellas and I was truly impressed. They were not only very tasty, but well prepared. I called in my order and they were ready for pickup in 15 minutes. The 2 men at the establishment were both kind and professional. It's good to see someone take pride in their customer service. My son said this Bro-Rito is the best he has tasted so far... I believe chipotle has lost a customer! This goes to show many that the hole in the wall places are where you find the best foods. Keep up the very good work gentlemen! Customer service was very good and gentleman who waited on us was accommodating. The food didn't taste like Mexican food at all but it was tasty and fresh. I first fell in love with Bro-Ritos 3 years ago at a food truck festival. Ever since I have followed their truck all around the north side of NJ. Once I saw they open a afore front in Hackensack, I was so excited. Nervous that the food wouldn't be as AMAZING as the truck but it WAS! I love them. So authentic and the sorry of the brothers is just awesome. If you love REAL tacos, go and spend your hard earned money on this great black owned restaurant. Review of Hackensack store - Best shrimp tacos! They don't skimp on the shrimp. Great burritos - especially the "Big Fellla Bro" - filling and satisfying. Polite and very respectful young men willing to please the customer. Helpful with menu selections. Excellent value for the money. I'd return without giving a second thought. Congrats to you! read more

I got a vegan burrito which I did not enjoy at all. I ended up throwing it away that's how tasteless it was. It sucks because with all the good reviews I was really looking forward to this place and I'm always excited about supporting black businesses. I would even stalk their calendar to see when they would be in an area that's accessible to me. I'm sure their meat options are good because my brother in law throughly enjoyed his chicken quesadilla (hence the 2 stars) but like majority of places that focus on meat, their vegan options typically lack which sucks because vegans like flavor too. So it's like either work on achieving good vegan food too or just take the option off your menu and focus on what you thrive in. read more

Just ordered Bro-Ritos on DoorDash yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The food was prepared promptly and carefully. It was delivered warm and fresh. The Big Fella Burrito was everything you want in a burrito - filling a full of flavor! The meat was tender and the sautéed peppers are cooked to perfection. A good balance of flavors mixed with a hefty portion. Brand new store in Hackensack so check it out ASAP! You won't be disappointed! read more

Bro-Ritos - Big Fella and Chicken Chipotle Burritos - Food Trucks Near Me - Hackensack, New Jersey

This restaurant offers good Customer Service and tasty tacos. Only complaint I have is that the chips were not very fresh.

I was hearing about this place so I decided to try it. I'm displeased to say for a 9 dollar burrito all I got was a mouth full of salt. It was unbearable to eat I had to throw it out and money wasted. Tried to eat the chicken and beans to salvage something but then the chicken sadly had NO SEASONING OR FLAVOR. the contents you can tell are just thrown together because I got a mouth full of cheese. Would not go back nor recommend. Unless you want clogged arteries and high blood pressure stay away save your money and go to Chipotle. read more

I was here a couple of weeks ago but I was thinking of how good their quesadillas were and decided to write a review. My friends and I all ordered when we got there and in no time it was ready--the customer service was amazing! Most importantly, the food was so good! I got a veggie quesadilla and the flavor was amazing. Better food than the chain restaurants and it's black owned, you can't go wrong!!!! read more

Tried this great place today for the first time--but definitely not the last time! I ordered the Big Fella Burrito--it was incredible! Stuffed with chicken, beef, rice, beans, cheese, guac, sour cream, hot sauce (optional) and maybe the kitchen sink , this ranks as one of the tastiest burritos I've ever had. Plus, it was a great value. I think it weighed about two pounds. I got a workout just trying to lift it! The place is located on a cool street in Hackensack. Definitely highly recommended! Can't wait to go back soon to try some tacos and quesadillas. read more

I was very satisfied with my lunch from Bro-Ritos. I got the black beans bro in a bowl (their burritos can be made into bowls) with rice/beans/guacamole/cheese/lettuce/hot sauce. It was delicious - the ingredients tasted fresh and the hot sauce has a great flavor. The portion was huge and for $2 extra they gave plenty of guac. Tastes like something you would get at a restaurant. I also love that they cater to vegetarians and vegans. I didn't miss the meat or feel like I got less (which happens a lot as a vegetarian but not here!). Highly recommend. read more

I've been here a couple of times but today's experience was not well received. The girl behind the counter seemed more interested in her video chat than attending to my order. After charging me for my order someone tried charging me again (which I informed him is already paid-not sure why there was such confusion when I was the only one in the place. Then the girl told me because I ordered guacamole with my food it would be $2 more. I don't have a problem paying whatever the price was but perhaps she could've paid more attention to what she was doing instead of her call. If her call was more important then she shouldn't have been attending customers. Not a good experience and unfortunately as much as I like supporting small businesses and small black-owned businesses I won't be returning there. That crew really put me off to enjoying their otherwise delicious food. read more
