Chicken chipoltle tacos
Marcus S.

Had an opportunity to try these bro's burritos at as you might guess it, a f festival, beer festival to be exact and needed some good food to go with our beers. We saw the name which grabbed me and my friend. Aside from the long line the menu item names then got our attention. I went with the "Big Fella, Bro! Burrito" which was loaded with chicken, beef, peppers and beans wrapped tightly. It was really good, and the guys serving it up were real chill which is always nice, especially when you can imagine it might not be easy when there are long lines to deal with. Aside from Bro-rito Burritos, they have tacos, which got positive approval from my friend and quesadillas, both of which I think are slightly cheaper than the burritos. If you see Bro-ritos at your festival or event, give them a try.

Bro-ritos They have a nice and simple menu. Who doesn't love burritos. I was happy to see veggie options. I saw pretty good reviews on Yelp so I had to check it out. I got the black bean bro and my boyfriend got the beef bro. For my burrito I added guacamole, lettuce, hot sauce. $12.80 My boyfriend got got guacamole, lettuce, hot sauce and salsa on his. $13.80 The burritos got there within an okay time ordered through door dash. Unfortunately the burritos were cold and we had to heat them up. If they are sitting at the counter for a while they should keep them warm at least or make new ones. Taste wise my boyfriend enjoyed his he said the flavor was decent not terrible. There was a small amount of guacamole on his. Which was funny on mine there was so much guacamole I had to take out some. My burrito wasn't anything special. I ate about half of it. I probably wouldn't order again. They could definitely make their veggie burrito way more flavorful. Other than adding beans. There's many options to make a veggie burrito tasty. For delivery I would just make sure it leaves the restaurant hot. I don't live for from the store so it shouldn't end up being cold. 3/5 for me.

Tacos

Tasty cold taco! The meat was cold as hell, I know it's an oxymoron but it is what it was. I ordered some tacos and asked if I could have some extra sauce on the side. He told me he had already put sauce on the taco. I asked him again if he had any sauce I could have on the side. Instead of telling me what kind of sauce he had available, he asked me what kind of sauce I wanted. The service is bad, with a young lady sitting at the counter looking at her phone while the cook answers the questions cause she didn't know anything. A customer came in and asked her, how much for a Burrito, she had to look at the menu to answer the question. The cook, or owner I assume told the lady $10.00 is the lowest price for a burrito. The lady left without ordering. It seems this young man knows how to cook, however he needs to know that front of the house employees and customer service are truly important to the customer experience. He made his name on a food truck but a restaurant requires something more than just take an order and serve it.

Big Fella Bro Burrito Bowl

Ended the day yesterday enjoying this view of the Manhattan skyline and a burrito bowl from Bro-Ritos in Hoboken! My boyfriend and I got the "Big Fella Bro Burrito Bowl" from the Brorito food truck at Pier 13. This bowl was HUGE, so if you get it I recommend sharing with one other person. The flavors in it were absolutey perfect and blended so well with every single element in the dish. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you're in Hoboken!

Chicken Quesadilla!!!! Amazing

It was LOVE @ First bite..... Period! I got wind of this gem while surfing IG and I am super glad I got in my car and took a ride, not like I had any thing else to do so I said why not. I had already heard from several people online that it was good and that I wouldn't be disappointed but as a Foodie... I know there is LEVELS to this palate/ taste buds!! LOL I get there was greeted by 2 young black men eager to get my order and serve me as a customer! I tell what what I heard and what I to order! I was handed a menu but didn't need it as I already stalked online and called..lol Chicken Quesadilla Please!! They began to prepare the order asked me what sides such as sour cream etc. I am a sour cream girl and I had prayed and even commented online that they used good quality Sour Cream.... when the young man went and grabbed the Daisy Sour Cream Squirt container...my whole heart just melted!! It's a fav of mines and no guarantee your going to get it at a restaurant but they had it!! I paid and told them I was going to my car to test... went to car where I had already had an ice cold Ice Tea waiting... opened my container...my Quesadilla and sour cream were neatly seated and piping hot ready for me to bite.....IT WAS TRULY LOVE @ FIRST BITE!!! CHICKEN- TENDER, WELL SEASONED, WELL BLENDED onions/tomatoes all together & cheesy with a little chipotle kick, the tortilla has a lil crisp to it and the nice sour cream to dip, truly a sexy foodie experience!!! Thanks Fellas!! God Bless and please know I will be back!! :-)

Solid burritos. Nice and stuffed? Lol. Tried the chipotle chicken and the beef. I liked the chicken one better had more of an authentic vibe. Was even better the next day (couldn't eat that whole thing in one sitting). The beef was missing some spices. For me, it just taste like ground beef I would use for spaghetti. Great price. Fast service from the bros. Only complaint is both burritos were waaayy too salty.

Run... do not walk but run to this spot ASAP. Luckily for me their food truck was outside my apartment complex. However, they have a store front too! I ordered the big fella and it was PACKED with chicken, ground beef, peppers, rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. I'm not an onion eater so I stayed away from their salsa and guacamole. Honestly, the way they seasoned their peppers is RIDICULOUS.. they have a dish that has just that so I'll def be having that next time. This is a must!

Black Bean Bro

I had initially heard about Bro-Ritos from a friend and been on the hunt for them ever since. I was stoked to finally run into them today at the Tulip Fest. The line was expectedly long, but definitely worth the wait! I ordered a Black Bean Bro (burrito) with cheese, salsa, hot sauce, peppers and guacamole. Now I've had my fair share of burritos, and I've gotta say, Bro-Ritos has easily made it into my top. Though only a food truck, quality and taste were on par with any burrito you'd find at a restaurant. Many layers of complimentary flavors, especially for a vegetarian burrito! After finally placing my order, my burrito was ready very quickly. By the time I placed my order at the first window and paid at the next window, I was all set. I felt the pricing was fair, $10 for my burrito + $2 extra for guacamole, along with $2 drinks (bottled water, can sodas, etc.) They also accept both cash and credit. Nearing the end of the festival, they started to understandably run out of items, but the brothers maintained a positive and friendly demeanor the entire time. All in all, a solid burrito from a solid duo. Looking forward to whenever I can catch them next!

Chicken quesadilla

Food is mediocre at best, feels like tv dinner, wait not even close, they need to rethink their take on mexican food.

This restaurant offers good Customer Service and tasty tacos. Only complaint I have is that the chips were not very fresh.

"Perfect for sharing!"…read more We had a great delivery experience yesterday! We shared the "Bistec a la Tampiquena" plate, and it was plenty for two people. The Sirloin was cooked exactly as I requested--well-done but still very juicy and flavorful. Everything tasted like a traditional Mexican home-cooked meal, though the green enchilada had a fantastic Tex-Mex vibe that really stood out. Even the rice and beans were wonderful. To top it off, the staff was so helpful and kind when I called in the order. I'm definitely a returning customer now!

Came with a side of delicious yellow rice and refried beans. ++++ Pancho Villa Platter - Neatly arranged skirt steak, 2 flautas and a salmon tostada on a bed of plain salad. Loved this as well. Everything in here was flavorful and delicious (minus the plain salad). This also came with a side of yellow rice and refried beans. ++++ Chicken Quesadilla - Huge and solid quesadilla. Our kids gobbled this up. ++++ Mango Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade were refreshing. + Decent size restaurant with 9 tables that can each seat 4 guests. Was relatively quiet when we arrived, but soon became pretty busy, to the point no tables were available.

Service has been nothing but kind, helpful, and attentive every time we've gone. On our last visit, we were jonesing for happy hour and asked for the drink menu, only to discover they don't serve alcohol but they're BYOB. "And there's a wine and liquor store only two blocks away," our smiling server whispered conspiratorially. It was a genius idea. While we waited on our order, my husband jetted out for a 6-pack of Modelos and got back just as our chicken salad was being set down on the table. We asked for it to be timed as an appetizer, and I'd say the serving size might be closer to an appetizer than an entree. But the chicken pieces were well-marinated and delicious, making the salad a meaty entry point into our shared steak fajitas. These fajitas are a winner winner chicken - er, steak - dinner. Since we got it done medium well (my preferred doneness - feel free to judge me for it), I was worried about the steak being tough but these were tender enough for both my husband and I to emit a simultaneous "wow" at first bites. The sauce on them was also incredible, so much that we asked our server about it when he checked on us mid-meal. He crossed his heart and demurred, "It's a secret, so I can't really tell you," but when we pressed for more information, he admitted the main base was "lots of tomatoes". Well, whatever's in that magic sauce was good enough for us to drag our spoons against the near-empty fajita plate, trying to get every last drop of it. My husband and I have visited twice now, and our order has ranged from good to excellent (with those steak fajitas being the high winner thus far). There are a few parking spots in the front lot but being that this is in a quiet, residential area, there's plenty of parking to be found on the side streets if necessary.

Now the food, we shared the chicken fajita and the enchilada mi bandiera. The chicken fajita was so tasty, the chicken is made w chicken thigh. Some might not like that. We enjoyed it tremendously. The chicken and the veggies were very flavorful and grilled perfectly. They were a little stingy w only 3 tortillas but it's ok. The enchilada was also good. Good flavor but it was Luke warm. Would've been better if it was hotter. I very much enjoyed the home made hot sauce and their signature mole sauce. A good dining experience. Left satiated.

Their leadership,…read morein some indirect fashion, has led to the craftsmanship of El Azteca - A slight chain of Mexican restaurants in a 30 min radius of Bergen County. I will copy and paste this review across the Park Ridge and Mahwah locations so emphasize my appreciate for their consistency in providing great Mexican food. If you are consistently performing, Linguini will take care of you. Like I've taken care of many others. I will bring you to the top with me. If you backstab me. Oh if you come for me at the top, you will reach an abyss so deep you may end up digging to China. Don't test me. I'm not that guy. Anyways, I've tried a lot from Azteca. Most of what they've got is a 4/4.5 out of 5 but I'm rounding up for the full experience. Phenomenal price point. Variety of food that all comes out well. Performs well in restaurant and when the food travels. Friendly staff. And local business of which I support. I suffer from GGS - Good Guy Syndrome, sorry not sorry. My motha, bless her soul. I legit mean bless her soul. Be nice. Pray. Bow down to her. She doesn't eat much food but she even loved the taco salad here so much that she asked to go again. So much protein, so well seasoned. Just as their other options showcase as well. My personal favs are the Kash Burrito and the, what I'd call "trademark" Cod Burrito. Never have seen it elsewhere like this. The wrap is toasted wonderfully, great rice, great salsa. I mean this place just does it real well. I've had tacos, appetizers, desserts. Never let down. El Azteca is consistently good. Constantly pushing out quality product. Is it the best Mexican I've had? No. But it's the most underrated. Being a consistent 4, makes you a five in my books. It's like that girl that's occasionally a 6 or occasionally an 9... you can't bring her home. But that girl that's consistently a 7 or an 8? You let her meet the fam. I don't where I'm going with this one. All I'll say is STOP. Stop going to Chipotle, Bubbakoo's, etc. when you could be supporting a better quality and friendlier priced location in El Azteca. Thank you in advance. I will be watching - LB.
