Cinco de Mayo on Taco Tuesday. 3.8 stars for the 10 taco pack. Loved that we could mix and match various options unlike some places that restrict you to 1-2 options while this option allowed me to explore the basics between carnitas, bistec, fish and birria. My favorites in that option were the fish and birria. The pack came with rice, beans. Guac, birria sauce, green sauce and lime. The price of $29.99 for 10 makes this a very affordable food option. The birria and fish had the best flavors while the carnitas came in third with the bistec being pretty basic. To solve the blandness of the bistec, I doused it with birria sauce and it became its very own delicious taco. There's no searing indoors but only one small table outside if you must have a sit down option so order from here with the expectation that it's a "take out joint". Today, it took 30 minutes during lunch time to get the tacos completed. Maybe we can try coming back on a different day and it might be quicker. We also tried the tamarind juice - it wasnt as strong as I would have liked it but at least the option is there. I would come back for the tacos. I hope they stay consistent enough. read more

3.5 stars since I'm struggling to land on exactly 3 or 4 stars. Some things were great, others not so much. Either way I'd go back for more! Helped reading other reviews to learn about the 10 taco tray you can order from their catering menu. This is definitely the best deal! Not sure the current cost is accurate on their website though (again based on another review and our total bill). You can mix and match the 10 tacos which you can't due when ordering individually. You also get rice, beans and guacamole. If you order individually you have to get 3 of the same taco (never my preference) and pay extra for the rice and beans. I tried the fish, birria, al pastor and chicken. All were good! I really like the sauce they put on the fish taco; it's a bit spicy. My mom thought the chicken was dry. I didn't think it was too bad when I tried it the next day. I thought it at least had a nice flavor to it. The al pastor was my favorite! I find pork tends to be too fatty and/or dry but that was not the case here. It was flavorful and so crispy! We really liked the rice and beans. What I wasn't crazy about were the nachos. Considering you're a take out only place your nachos should travel well. They were already soggy by the time we got home. As much as they have potential I would never order them again. The horchata was okay. Needed some more flavor, possibly more cinnamon. Parking is challenging.
