Happiness is takeout from Fiesta Hut...finally!!! Best Mexican food in NJ. So happy they're open for takeout so we can get our fix.

Easily one of my favorite mexican restaurants ever!! The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. The decor is simple, with family charm. This is not your dine and run out type of place; plan to hang, have great food, and enjoy your time. The margaritas are phenomenal and always have you wanting more, plus they're always made with quality tequila. The food is classic and tastes homemade with every bite. The ingredients are simple but the quality and spices speak volumes! I love the interchanging combos that they offer-- mixing tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, burritos, tamales and more! You can choose cheese, chicken, beef, or pork for any of your choices, and to be honest any one of them is going to be highlighted perfectly in whatever dish you choose. Some of my absolute favorite menu items include the Chile con Queso, the Cheese Crisps, and my go-to combination is a Beef Tostada, Chicken Enchilada (with red sauce) and a Pork Taco! (Also Tamales are a must if they're being served that night) If you want legit mexican food, this is your place!!

Cheese enchiladas - I get them every single time!

This is my favorite restaurant of all time, and I'm gonna tell you why! Fiesta hut has been around forever. My dad used to eat at their old location many years ago, and he is the reason I discovered and love this place so much. First of all, I love Mexican food. I love spicy food. Gimme all the tacos, enchiladas, burritos of the world. Fiesta hut is a little hole in the wall (they don't even have a sign outside), but Fiesta hut is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. No on the border, chilis, fakeness frozen here. Everything is fresh and made to order. Don't let their outside store appearance stir you away, sometimes the hole in the restaurants are the best ones. I always get the nachos, queso, and quesadillas. Their nachos are not your typical nachos. They consist of fried corn tortilla, refried beans, cheese, and jalapenos. And Guess what? THEY ARE DELICIOUS. Simple, yet very satisfying to the palate. The queso is cheesy, creamy, gooey, flavorful. I think fiesta hut's queso is one of the best queso I've ever had (and I've had a lot of queso). The quesadillas are cheesy, creamy and gooey as well. They come with jalapenos, onions, and tomatoes inside. The daily meal I order is the cheese enchiladas with red sauce. O.M.G. it is the best flavor explosion in my mouth! I can't describe how delicious they are, so do me a favor - come here and try them yourself! You won't regret it. I've had the burritos, and the tacos and everything on the menu is delicious and homemade. If you like Mexican, you should check out this spot.

The guac was good but could use a bit more salt, i wish they had chiccarons as chips instead of tortillas but the chips were great so wasn't a big issue. overall though expensive for some pretty average guac in my opinion. the seabass crudo was great, i loved the sauce and the mango went great with it. Super fresh, super tasty. Unfortunately the tacos were a mess, when it arrived the tortillas were so soggy that they were just coming apart, the meat was also falling off and overall the presentation was horrendous. the tacos weren't balanced as well, there were some with too much meat and then some with basically only cheese. overall flavor was not birria im typically use to but it was solid. honestly these tacos are probably the worst tacos i've ever had, for $20 it's a travesty. overall for a place nearby i'd come to get some drinks and the crudo and esquite because those were fantastic. but i'll pass on their tacos hard.

We started with the Guacamole and chips and the vegetarian nachos. Both came out very quick and were excellent. We also ordered drinks and they also came out in a timely manner. I had a mojito, my stepmother had a margarita and my dad had the sangria. Drinks were pricey and a bit weak but overall good. We ordered our food and I had the Thursday lunch special Birria which was very nice and tender, my stepmother had the chicken burrito it was huge and very good and my dad had the shrimp and steak fajitas which he loved. We ended the meal with the outrageous churros piping hot and such a sweet surprise!! We talked with Yanci who is the owner's daughter and she was so nice and sweet. Best part about this place is the atmosphere everywhere you look it just gets better. The decor is awesome and everything just went perfect together. I read other reviews about how it probably is on a busy night and I'm happy we came when we did... that it wasn't hectic and loud. We would definitely come back again for lunch to enjoy a drink and share our food (because we all left with extra left overs) Overall definitely give it a try.

I think they are bogus. This restaurant has several locations around NJ. Parking is valet only. The ambiance and decor is pretty, fun and loud. Very loud. We were seated upstairs with a pretty good view of the restaurant. Where we were seated, the lights coming from the huge projector screen was annoying. They give you an iPad to look at the menu, which can be confusing if you are technically challenged. I am not. My husband is! There's a photographer going around asking if you want a picture. I agree with one of the reviews. It seems that they are only interested in upselling. I ordered the house margarita the regular size. It was OK, from a mix, but no tequila to be found at $13. My husband had a Pacifico beer which he ask twice for lime and a glass. They brought him a margarita glass and a few dry limes. At this point he gave up. I had the chicken fajitas. It came with Rice, black refried beans and some guacamole. The included three flour tortillas were terrible old and dry. The only thing good were the fajitas. We also ordered chicken chili rellenos. Came with the terrible rice and the refried beans. My husband said they were OK. Edible as he put it. The Mexican food here is not authentic. Now for the service. Our server, told us right off that her English was limited. We speak Spanish, so that was not a problem. The service is mediocre. We asked for water twice. Finally she brought it. But not the hot sauce my husband asked for twice. It's definitely a 3 star restaurant. Catering to people that want the fun but are OK with mediocre food.

Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas.
