i have been at your 786 rt 17 paramus location many times and have received an active military disc with a smile however when i go in and the manager akash is there he rudely says popeyes doesn't extend any discount to veterans i explained he's the only manager that says such to me and i ordered anyway i took a picture of the menu screen for pricing reasons and he said "did you take my picture" i laughed and said no why ...he then said i reuse to take your order you get out ..leave..i said even if your in the picture there is no expectation of privacy in public but i would delete for him ..he said again louder you delete and get i i wont serve you this manager needs a refresher on customer service and the etiquette that goes with it your business just lost money as i wont go there again and yes will tell many of my local veteran friends about him bit i love your chicken so i hope i here from you on this troubling manner User's recommendation: do not go there tell your friends and family the manager akash hates veterans.

    5 piece deal

What a line! With restaurants continuing to be closed, we swung by the Popeyes drive thru around 1 pm to be faced with a massive line of cars. We ordered an offer loaded on their website for $9 for a 5 piece chicken, 2 sides, 2 biscuits deal which seems like a steal given how expensive meals at Popeyes have gotten. There was minimal contact with the window worker and when we asked for sauces, they were more than happy to dish out tons of it! Chicken was fresh, sides didn't taste like they have been sitting there for weeks. Service was a moderate speed, wouldn't say fast but not too slow where I'm eager to just leave. Experience could have been a little better if workers were a bit friendlier. Seems like they avoid eye contact and try their best to not greet you at the window.

This Popeyes is almost the best in existence. The food is typical Popeyes food. Fried chicken, Mac and cheese, you know the bit. The fast food is fast, and usually if you need to wait for your food to be prepared, they will have you wait in one of the spots near the drive thru and they will bring your food out to you. The workers are always very polite and kind. I have never had my order incorrect at this location. The only negative is that their speaker system sucks. It must be hard to hear on the workers end. I have to scream my order every time for them to hear me. Corporate should fix this for the sanity of their workers. I would go nuts trying to figure out someone's order by barley hearing them.

    Popeyes Chicken Sandwich

Okay so Popeyes chicken is really good. The sandwich is really good too but not worth waiting 30-40 or more minutes for. I'm sure the hype will go down and it'll be a normal thing to get off the menu. I liked mine best dipped in BBQ sauce. The drive thru forgot my sandwich... we just ordered 3! There was a 5 person minimum "so everyone can get a chance to try them"

After talking to Matt for 2 minutes you know that he's passionate about what he does and it certainly shows. He was willing to travel to Kingston NY for the event. They set up in the driveway, set up their tent and got down to the business of feeding 60 hungry people. Burgers, Hot Dogs, killer Chicken Nuggets, Onion Rings, Fries and Hot Pretzels- all served with the proper condiments and sauces. Everything was fresh, delicious and well received. At the end they cooked off enough food to feed 60 people all over again! We noshed all night and still had plenty of leftovers. I've eaten at the restaurant and it was very good but their handling of this party was over the top! I wouldn't hesitate to call in this squad again for any event that needs great food and hospitality.

Five Guys, Shake Shack, and a…read moreplethora of local businesses started jumping on the premium burger trend, leaving this pioneer-restaurant behind. My advice? Don't sleep on Smashburger. Somewhere around 2024-2025, they did a bit of introspection --- and have revamped much of their image: menu simplification, bolder brand identity, and ACTUAL value pricing on items. I remembering visiting Smashburger in the 2010's, and often my burgers and fries were drenched in grease. Not this time. Burgers are delicately assembled, and more or less look like the photo on their menus! In Paramus, I've only had positive interactions with the staff --- they have been helpful in ordering and recommending when I am indecisive. On top of that: don't sleep on their app! They have better "reward deals" than many other chain restaurants! I tried two items today: 1) Mexicali Big Dog ($7.99) - This is a "¼ pound 100% Angus beef hot dog, cheddar cheese sauce, grilled jalapeños, chopped bacon, crispy fried onions, fresh-sliced avocado, and Mexican crema on a butter-toasted Big Dog roll." IT SLAPS. All the flavors work together, and I traveled to work after picking it up --- 20 minutes later it still HIT. And oh my goodness that toasted roll, it just elevates the experience! 2) Double Jalapeno Crema Smash ($7.99) - If you're a fan of Tex-Mex and grilled jalapenos, this item is for you! The heat pairs well with the Crema in the burger, to offer you both a heat and cool effect. It is smoky, rich, and spicy in all the right ways! Definitely recommend --- and NOT SOGGY from any grease! (There is bacon in my photo --- I added that!) In any case --- Smashburger has made a wonderful comeback, and I wish more people knew about it!! Until then, I will be frequenting this location because it taste better (and is CHEAPER) than Shake Shack and Five Guys, and I will not take that back!

They are trying to figure out a new donut supplier, so it'll be off for a while. However, the owner was heading out for an errand, and offered to buy doughnuts ad-hoc if I still wanted the chonut and I took him up on it! What service. Chonut: he got a Paris Baguette maple donut, which was a good level of sweetness. It wasn't warmed up at all and the bottom donut got really soggy, so I wonder how it would compare to their normal donut. I loved the combination of sweetness and savory - I'd get this again to see what a full potential donut sandwich could look like. Cholander Fries: we ordered this while waiting, and a solid appetizer with lots of flavors. We got the BBQ Sampler box, and they allowed us to replace the 2 ribs with pork belly instead. The pork belly was the standout - it's both very crispy and fatty. They also gave us a gochujang glaze sauce because they said it paired well with the pork belly, and it did! The brisket was good too and certainly benefited from the sauces available, as well as the pork shoulder. I thought the Mac and cheese was standard but the kimchi slaw wasn't refreshing although interesting.
