My family and I were looking for Chinese food options for dinner on our last night in Jackson so we decided to try this place out because of the high Yelp ratings. We were greeted right away and was promptly seated. We ordered: egg flower soup (large), orange chicken, house special fried rice (order this!), and the beef with broccoli. All the dishes we order were delicious (not too salty or greasy either). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Minus 1 star for the ambience as the side of the restaurant we dined at felt a little too enclosed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, if you're looking for some tasty Chinese food, this place is it.

They advertise themselves as the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Jackson Hole, which is probably true. Service was fast. Food was good - considering that we're in Jackson. Ordered the chicken teriyaki - it's a lot of chicken. Sauce is a little too sweet for me. Comes with barely cooked / raw onions. Beef and broccoli was solid. Portions were big and definitely filled us up. Would come back

I recently went to China fun restaurant with my friend for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant was clean and we were seated right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and the food came out in about seven minutes. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special with scallion and onions it didn't have any spice, but I was expecting at least a little kick (maybe it was "Wyoming spicy" lol) anyway my dish came with rice and an egg roll. It wasn't anything special kinda mid. The food was light a little bit oily but not super heavy. I thought China fun was decent and I think I would probably return.

Decent food. Great prices. Good atmosphere. The prices are so good I almost gave it another star!

we decided to stay in our hotel one of the nights and we found this place. food was good! chicken chowmein was delicious and the walnut shrimp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]cozy and comfort food always is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] staff was cool friendly. we recommend this place for next time

Vegetarian reviewer: My partner and I absolutely loved the veg fried rice. It was exceptional, please note it's worth it to add the extra mushroom. I wish I did not deduct that one star but I have to coz the tofu dish was too oily, we kept pressing the oil out with napkins. And also, it had too much turmeric in it which left an after taste. This dish still tasted good. My partner also ordered the egg soup- he liked it but it's not my thing. The restaurant is clean and the server spoke with very kindly with us. There are parking spots right in front of the restaurant so it's convenient. I really recommend this place if you're in Jackson. We missed the hot pot coz apparently they only serve it during winters.

Very surprised at the taste of the Chinese food here but would say it is pretty good especially in a village in the middle of the no where. Dishes were on the pricier side but over would try again.

the sweet and sour spare ribs we ate is the best by far.

Amazing quality and portions for the price. The mapo tofu (called bean curd szechuan on their website menu) was especially very good value. We called ahead for takeout, and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Really added spice to our trip to Teton national park :) We loved it to the point where we actually went back to dine in the next day.

The bar seating was available and allowed us to watch the kitchen staff hustling. Once seated, we waited for Beste to take our order, about 10 minutes. She was MIA most of the evening. Our evening started with the braised beef bao bun with carrot, kimchi, sesame seeds, kimchi aioli, and pickled onions. The flavor was good but it was grossly over-sauced and extremely messy. The bao bun was delivered broken in half. The lemongrass flavored pork dumplings were accompanied with onions, radishes and fermented black bean chili crisp. The dumplings were boiled and had no crispness from being pan seared which left a doughy taste. Our favorite was the Caeser salad with gem lettuce, tahini Caesar, aged parm and nori dusted rice crisp. A truly crisp bite with little taste crunches from the nori and tasty tahini Caesar. Homerun! Our final dish was the shrimp toast with kimchi aioli, pickled jalapeno, toasted sesame seeds on a milk bread slice. There was no shrimp taste and was told it was a "thin" shrimp mousse spread covered by other ingredients. I would bet there is less than a teaspoon of mousse on 4 pieces of toast. I have several issues with tonight's dining experience. A waitress, Beste was MIA, left empty plates piled up with limited room at the bar, did not change out plates coated with kimchi sauce between services, and a short attitude when we asked about "where is the shrimp". I hope the restaurant can correct these issues or find help that truly cares. Hospitality means pay attention and "Anticipate" the patrons need prior to them realizing it. This also falls on management who needs to guide and set a culture that employees can emulate. SHOW THEM THE LIGHT!

After a few days of "well, that was expensive" meals, this place felt like striking gold. We're not meat eaters, which can sometimes make dining in these areas a bit of a scavenger hunt, but The Blue Lion delivered anyway. The scallops were spot-on, the scampi pasta was bright and balanced, and everything tasted like someone in the kitchen actually cared. And then there's Colin, the manager--who somehow manages to be attentive, engaging, and completely unpretentious all at once. He chatted with us about food like we were old friends, made sure every detail was right, and turned dinner into an experience rather than just a reservation. Our server was equally dialed in, catching nuances in our order that most places would miss. It's the kind of service that feels effortless but clearly isn't. The vibe? Cozy, welcoming, and just the right amount of lively. The kind of place where you linger a little too long and start thinking about what you'd order next time. In a town full of places that rely on location, The Blue Lion earns it.

Our servers were spot-on with service, drinks and sharing her favorites. It is cozy and casual, people meeting people. The spirits here are for the pros with knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and bubbles. We started with the wild mushroom mozzarella with balsalmic butter, parmesan and balsalmic glaze served on crunchy baguettes. It was unbelievably flavored and tasty, a great start to the night and must have! The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. A pleasant surprise and would order again. The lamb pintxos was our final selection and a great dish to end the night on. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! The menu changes frequently and the tapas allow you to try several different delectable dishes. It encourages sharing and forces you to open up and try different dishes. We mentioned this to the young hostess, who replied that she "had no control over that." We asked if she could at least inform a manager. Our waitress took our drink order in an impatient, distracted manner. She was looking around the room as I was speaking to her. When I began placing my order and requested my steak cooked medium, she rudely interrupted me by saying, "Just a minute," and walked away to speak to another server at the table next to us. She eventually returned to finish taking our orders. Our Caesar salads were good, although they were served warm instead of chilled. My 10-ounce sirloin, ordered medium, was decent but unremarkable. Unfortunately, my husband's and son-in-law's steaks, both also ordered medium, arrived extremely rare and were so undercooked they were difficult to cut. Their baked potatoes were hard and undercooked. My daughter and grandchildren ordered the ravioli, green beans, mushrooms, and macaroni and cheese, which were all bland and best described as merely adequate. My iced tea was never refilled, and our waitress was nowhere to be found throughout most of the meal. The room was so hot and noisy that my daughter and grandchildren eventually left the table because it was a very unpleasant atmosphere. As we were leaving, I stopped at the hostess stand and asked an older woman if she was the manager. She abruptly replied, "One of them." I quietly began explaining our experience so as not to create a scene. Instead of listening, she fixed me with a hostile stare and interrupted me by asking, "Did you tell your waitress about these issues so she could tell me?" I explained that our waitress never returned--not even to refill my tea--so we never had the opportunity to discuss our concerns with her. It was clear from the manager's attitude that the conversation wasn't going to be productive, so I simply told her my husband was still at the table and wanted to speak with her. Ironically, my daughter predicted the manager would treat the men in our party with more courtesy--and she was right. She listened to their concerns and removed one steak and a iced tea from the bill. Between the mediocre food, inattentive service, and unprofessional management, this was an extremely disappointing dining experience. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant
