I am so blessed by store managers Kelly, Gabe, and Kobe. Preparing a month in advance, I had trouble finding the perfect Chili's to host my birthday with THE OFFICE as theme. Finalizing the plans day off was perfectly prepared, as I listed the appetizers and plans of payment method. I especially appreciated how this Chilis made the extra effort of placing a "private party" sign for our patio event. Despite city of industry Chilis have outdoor patio, Upland Chili's was the only one able to serve my outdoor party, since COVID affect shortness of staff for many locations. Not sure why people complained about management, since I had no trouble preparing ahead. Most negativities relate to expectations, while not considering the stress of fast paced servers and management. Server Matt was amazing! While used to simply asking what customers want, I was surprised Matt had a bit of entertainment with his sense of humor! Zero is necessary for this one nonsense, I ordered food for a work meeting yesterday 11/18 Went to pick it up Brought it back to find Half the order was missing Called the store to find a solution I was told to come get the rest and I would receive a refund, although it was not specified, how much. I sent someone to get the rest Brought that back, only to realize One of the trays was half full. It honestly looked like someone threw leftovers on the tray and handed it to her (see picture) I looks like staff already ate it, unfortunately, not my staff! We came here late in the evening after a local high school play with some friends. We walked in, there weren't many people there, a bit of a slow evening...yet they still waited like 10 minutes to even started setting up for a table of 7...a couple of our people ordered the loaded potato soup. I watched every employee including the manager walk right past the food or trash. A 20% tip was added to my curbside order even though I did not select any tip option when placing my order, then after checking in, I waited 15 minutes for them to bring my order to my car, but they never did. So I had to go in and found my order sitting on the counter, and since my food was cold, I can only assume my order had been sitting there since I checked in. Everything was spectacular! C, the host did his best to get our large party of 16 seated as quickly as possible on a Friday evening. He stayed in contact with me to let me know she they were getting close to seating us. We also had a couple of concerns with our large party, and C and the General Manager Rosa did their best to accommodate us. Rosa also personally came to us and let us know that if we needed any other help we could ask for her. Now, our server Brady was just amazing! He took care of our table, kept checking on us, and kept up with the other tables too! I have only been to this one once, but we are willing to make this Chili's our regular place. This location is not packed like others, and you can usually get seated upon arrival. I have been to this location multiple times over the past couple years. The food is usually pretty good. On my last visit, I was charged $120 by mistake for a $55 meal. I was told my credit card would be credited in a day or so. After two weeks, it still had not been taken care of. Today, I called to speak to a manager to resolve the issue. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then dropped of the line. I called back and asked to speak to a manager again. I was told that they were busy and I needed to call back 3 hours later. I asked if there was a manager currently there on site. She said there was, but he was busy. The person answering the phone was not interested in talking with me, so instead of waiting for me to finish my sentence, she placed me on hold again. After about another 15 minutes on hold the system dropped the phone line again. I am disappointed that a manager, busy as they may be, can't take a few moments to talk with a customer on the phone. Maybe even for an employee to take a customer's phone number and have the manager return a phone call. read more

We ordered the 2 for $25 and were CHARGED for each item separately and PAID $65 including tip I will definitely NOT return to Upland and chose NOT to call for a refund of the difference over charged AND if I go back to Chili's it will be in Montclair!
