Food was delicious but chill a quills was lacking a bit spicy flavor. Trio & Mimo was very good. Service was friendly with a cheerful spirit & fast service. Nice booth experience with cool but not cold surrounding. Average noise but overall great experience. Would definitely the food again Thank you for a great start to our Saturday morning ! read more

I placed a phone order and was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later as instructed, only to stand in the lobby for an additional 30 minutes waiting for my order. After waiting, I spoke with the shift manager and explained that my food was now 30 minutes later than the time I was originally given. Her response was to offer me a muffin, which did little to address the excessive wait or the poor service. I understand that restaurants can get busy and delays happen, but if the actual wait time is going to be 45 minutes, customers should be told that when placing their order. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Mimi's Cafe has a comfortable atmosphere and is a decent spot for a casual meal, especially if you want something simple and familiar. The menu has a lot of variety and the portions are solid, but the food and service felt a bit inconsistent during my visit. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Overall, an average experience. read more

It's a good cafe for breakfast and brunch. The decor is more French . Similar to Paris. We were seated right away and Mary our server was really nice. We all got the Egg white and veggie omelette with carrot raisin muffin. The muffin was moist and warm. The omelette was ok. The egg was overcooked and kind of bland. The coffee was limitless. Constant refill was done. read more

Myra rocks her waiting! I used to wait tables, so I'd like to think I know excellent service when I experience it. Myra is attentive without being intrusive, which is a fine line to walk when taking care of your customers, but she accomplishes this par excellence. Ask for Myra and you'll have a most excellent dining experience! read more

We decided to come to Mimi's café because it was a place that I would take my children to when they were little and they absolutely loved it. We went in on a Wednesday about 6 o'clock. There was 5 of us we Decided to have dinner. Customer service was OK. Our waitress was very sweet. The place was empty. I think there was like two other customers there we went ahead and placed our drink orders received them pretty quickly went ahead and put in our food order. Everything arrived pretty quickly. It definitely wasn't the same as when my kids were younger. The food was not great quality and it did not taste that good. We ended up leaving majority of the food on our plates and we did not even take it to go home which we normally would if we were not able to finish everything it was very unsatisfactory. I don't know if the chef that night just didn't feel like cooking or if that's just the quality of what the food is now but I definitely would not go here again unfortunately I wish I would've gotten more pictures of the food, but unfortunately, I did not read more

Came in on a rainy evening Service was excellent polite and fast. It's kind of a hidden gem since there aren't a lot around. The food is good and the ambience is quiet and clean. Will definitely come back because of the food and the service highly recommend. read more

Allizon was kind and gave great service! The Lorraine quiche was delicious. The corn chowder soup is my favorite.

As always, food was great. Our server Jennifer was responsible for a large section of the restaurant. There was an elderly couple who constantly complained in a very rude manner. Jennifer handled the situation with impressive grace. Kudos to her. read more

I hadn't been to Mimi's Cafe in a while, but after meeting some friends for breakfast, I was impressed! The service was great, and the food was delicious. I tried the Chicken and Waffles, which was tasty, but my personal favorite was the Smoked Salmon Benedict--it was outstanding. The restaurant is kept clean, and the servers are friendly and attentive. Located at the corner of Foothill Blvd and Spruce Ave, it's a convenient spot for a satisfying breakfast or brunch. Definitely worth a visit! My Personal Rating : 4.26 Food 4.3/5 Service 4.3/5 Price 4/5 Ambiance 4.2/5 Cleanliness 4.5/5 read more

The food was horrible. Everything looks like it comes from frozen packaging. Pancakes tasted like thick flour. Waffles had no taste. Even the chicken looked like the frozen dinosaur chicken nuggets you give the kids when you're too lazy to cook. Save your money, you're better off getting something at Winchells. read more

I just like to say that the service was stellar! Our server was"Cat". She made us feel so welcome, her hospitality was exceptional, her energy, very professional, being attentive to our needs along with a sweet smile. Kudos to her. The salmon and the dessert- beignets were so good! Thank you Cat for a great experience. Will definitely be coming back, hope Cat will be our server. read more

I ordered a Cobb salad and I forgot to ask to have the green onions off of it. I asked the waitress if it's been made yet and I would like it without onions. She said she would check. I received my salad without the onions. When I got the bill I was charged an additional 20% for a second salad. I asked the manager why and he said they made 2 salads because I didn't want the onions. At no time was I told I would be charged 20% if I wanted the salad without onions if the first salad was already made. I believe I should have been given that information and had the option to have a new salad made or just have the one that was already made. We have gone to this Mimi's for years. We will not be returning. This policy is ridiculous. read more

My go to breakfast place in Rancho! The waitresses are always amazing. I have been helped by four different ladies and they are so helpful, kind, and efficient! Special shout out to Jenn. Do not sleep on their lattes! I'm a huge coffee person and have tried all the cafes in Rancho and surrounding areas. This place has my top 4 lattes. Their seasonal pumpkin spice is my absolute favorite and they make their syrup there! My three favorite items are the Turkey Dinner (rivals my family's thanksgiving meal), Egg White Frittata, and the Cajun Chicken & Eggs. My favorite muffin is the buttermilk spice. I have tried about four flavors and nothing beats a good buttermilk spice. read more

GHOST TOWN. All food is made from industrial suppliers, comes out of plastic bags -- and is either run through the microwave or air fryer. We paid $75 for food that would have costed under $10 to microwave if we had just went to Aldi's. The staff is sweet, and the homeless guy in the dark parking lot didn't hit me, so 1 star for that. read more

I went there for dinner and I ordered the New York steak and it was terrible. I could not hardly cut it into bite size pieces. It was tough as shoe leather and i could not eat it. I told the waitress that it was terrible and her response was sorry. The service was good but the steak was not worth it. I'll never order another steak at Mimi's again. Worst ever. French onion soup was great. The desert that I ordered, they were out of it. Overall very disappointing. read more

Oh hell nah! This Mimi's Cafe gets a zero star if it gave me a choice, my chicken cordon bleu looked like it was cooked 3 days before then reheated and served, I could even cut the crust with the butter knife, now I know why this place has 3 stars and was empty at dinner time, One more thing don't order the Chicken Pot Pie the was the worst/bland chicken pie pie my wife has ever had. Noooo good I should of checked the ratings before going there.. read more
