I ordered a cherry pie for Thanksgiving for pickup Process was very smooth I would definitely preorder a pie in the future

If I could have given this specific location zero stars, I would have.... Yearly, I buy a pumpkin pie from Cocos for Thanksgiving. Every location has been great EXCEPT for this one. During Thanksgiving, we cut into the pie and noticed the crust wasnt golden brown, but rather a pale white color. Thinking nothing of it, my friends and family took a bite and we all had the same comment and that this was one of the worst pies we have ever had. The crust was heavily undercooked and had a very dough-like consistency. On top of that, the pie had so much cinnamon that there was a bitter aftertaste to it. Heavily disappointed from the pie. The next day, we went back to the establishment to explain the situation. The Manager was called to assist us and upon assisting us, she had a lot of attitude. We told her how the crust was too soft and "dough like" making it super soggy and mushy. She had the audacity to sparkling say, "It's supposed to be doughy." Then we explain that the crust was super soggy in the middle and she said, well it sat for a day so it will be like that.... I started to get a bit annoyed and explained that even the filling had way too much cinnamon that it was bitter and she then said, "Its supposed to be like that..." At this point, I was highly irritated and told her to cut a piece and try it. Terrible customer service and a bit rude for my taste. I will never be going back to this location nor will I ever let my friends and family even waste their time here. read more

Awesome service! Staff were very courteous and helpful, warm welcome and attentive. Looking in the area for a lemon meringue pie for my family's craving during their visit. Called over the phone to place an order. They were able to set the last lemon meringue pie aside. The meringue was nicely toasted on top. Swirled and domed atop the lemon curd. Picture perfect. Boxed and ready to go. They also have other pies available berry, cherry, apple, chocolate, coconut and several different strawberry pies. Seasonal pie was blueberry cheesecake. We also picked up a honey bran muffin. Plenty of seating inside. Parking right in front with ramp or steps entrance. Reason it wasn't so great was when reaching home to devour this beautiful looking masterpiece it tasted very old and stale. After consuming everyone who had a slice had an upset stomach no bueno. I wondered why it was so empty inside. Hope their food is of higher freshness but may need some quality control over the pie selections. Maybe a 'best by' date on tins. Always room for growth. Their customer service really is the saving grace. read more

I really like this Coco's! Every time I have come to this location it's been worth it. The food is good. The service is good. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. I haven't been a big Coco's fan but I like this one!!! I have not been disappointed yet! read more

I've had many pleasant visits to this location over the past year. Between lunch or breakfast with friends, dinner or pie with my women's group from church, or most recently picking up a pie for Thanksgiving, Coco's is a neighborhood staple. I was asked to bring the pies for our Thanksgiving gathering this year. I purchased the pumpkin and pecan pies elsewhere, but was also asked to bring a lemon meringue pie and was told Coco's was a good option. I pre-ordered and paid for the pie online, selecting a date and time for pickup at checkout. Knowing they'd probably be extremely busy as the holiday got closer, I opted to pickup the day before Thanksgiving. Upon arrival, they had clear signage placed everywhere for pre-order pickup, which was located outside, around the back of the restaurant. There was a short line of others waiting to be helped. I simply provided my order number and they confirmed the pie and grabbed it from the fridge they'd placed outside. The pie was a hit at our holiday dinner and the process was quick and easy! I'd definitely purchase pies from here again for a holiday gathering! read more

Let me save y'al the trip! Fifty five dollars later and the food wasn't even worth it. Food: not worth what they are charging... cinnamon French toast- sad, doughy ball of cinnamon. ALL YOU TASTE IS CINNAMON PASTE. Service: was a 3. Lady was dry with no personality and checked on us at the end of meal when she was ready worth the bill. Stopped in for a quick pick-up of a banana cream pie and it was excellent! Rayven was such a great help...she made sure I got a good pie and made the whole experience quick and easy. This location is perfect for either a fast pick-up or a sit-down. I really enjoyed how the pie was made with whipped cream wasn't overpowering, and there was just the right amount of banana slices. I came in a large group of 10 or so. Our waitress did a great job attending to us all and made no mistakes on the orders, even with extras like the fact that we all got a free slice of pie because it was Wednesday after 11am :) Only complaint is that it took her a long time to start taking out orders. Cobb salad was good, and the lunch size was perfect. The meat lovers omelette was also good and was a great value for money, also coming with pancakes and hashbrowns! Oh, one more complaint: Even though there were three kids in our group, the waitress didn't mention that there was a kids menu! I purchased a reel peach pie. The peaches were delicious but the crust was ok. The price was a bit crazy, almost $30 for 1 pie.

The manager Cenin and his crew always go over and above for catering the food and service are always extremely exceptional not only was my party for 25 people so amazing everyone was asking where I got the food and the best price. Been going here for awhile since I lived close by. Overall the food was good for all American menu. I love their small plates entree which was reasonable for Seniors. My favorite was the tomato basil egg white omelette. The pancakes are fresh. The carrot muffin is tasty specially when it's hot. Service was great. This is the best restaurant in the inland empire. I cant say enough. The manager welcomes you when you come in. The waitress is continuously watching if you need any help. The bus man comes and gets rid of your dishes out of your way . You see the waitress cleaning seats and areas around . It is emaculate . They are respectful to each other and to us as customers. I have been going to many restaurants in inland empire and high desert weekly and have not had this spectacular treatment. As a national chain cocos is usually pretty consistent but in this instance the service and food was below the standard I've come to expect from this restaurant chain. I should have taken the 3/4 empty restaurant and the "are you sure you want to eat here?" look from the hostess as a sign. The restaurant decor is very tired and in dire need of an upgrade. The staff was inattentive and mostly not present. I ordered the pork chop and eggs with country potatoes. The pork chop was over cooked and rubbery, the scrambled eggs were cold and the potatoes were unseasoned and chewy. This was a disappointing experience. read more

Today, I brought my senior neighborhood group to Coco's RC for an early Thanksgiving/Christmas Luncheon. They did not disappoint! The waitress, I believe her name was Angela provided polite and stellar customer service. The Manager was so polite and helpful and made us feel welcome! The food was delicious! I just had the worst experience with Coco's Bakery. I called to order a pie because their online system wasn't working. Someone picked up the phone on the first ring, then put the phone down without speaking. I sat on the phone for 8 minutes listening to a lady help customers, then talk crap about them to another person as soon as the customer left. This went on for 7 minutes. Kept talking crap. I started yelling into the phone "pick up! pick up!", and someone picked up the phone and hung up on me, again without speaking. Cocos has been bought out and will now be called Cali's. The food last week was terrible. My Hash browns were cold and dry. My son's french fries were cold. Actually everyone had a problem with their food. So we decided to go back and give them another try today. MISTAKE!! Food was bad again! But this time my son is sick. I've enjoyed my visits in the past. Today was horrible one and unfortunately, I'll never return here again. While we were eating, I waited a while then signed the server that I needed attention while she was taking food to another table. She told me she'd be back. Which I completely understand. She served the food and never came back. After 10-15 minutes I had to walk up to the kitchen and ask a different server for what our table needed. The food was on point. When I received the check, I noticed the two entrées were higher priced than advertised in the menu. When I went to the cashier to pay, I asked about this increase. The employee said due to increased price in eggs there was an increase per menu item. I told him I'd I would totally understand if it were advertised at the entrance or in the restaurant somewhere or even on the menu or perhaps the server could've mentioned this. But it was not. this is false advertising and very ILLEGAL. I won't be back. If you go, beware, you'll be charged more than expected without warning. read more

I will say the food is good at this restaurant. However, the time to get your food is a little crazy. There were only four other tables being used at the time we were there and it took forever to get pour food. Once delivered, the English muffin wasn't even toasted. First of all, poor customer service. I walked in to place a to-go order and I waited at the front, by the cashier and did not even get acknowledged. I understand that they may have been busy with other obligations, but different employees were looking at me and did not even say a word. One girl even answered the phone and took someone else's order over the phone before acknowledging me. I was the only one inside the restaurant and standing in front of the cashier. We only went to buy pies, but ended up staying for dinner. $140 seemed steep for some basic food. I may be back, only for the pies, not to eat.
