We have been coming to Brandon's for years. The menu is not restrictive. You get.... Choices!!! They have weekday specials and a senior menu (Available Monday to Friday). I can ask that my French Toast be extra crispy ( I like the crunch) or that my chorizo be cooked separately and served on the side. I LOVE that. We had heard about Taco Tuesday here from some friends, so we finally went to try it out. At $2.50 per taco, they are definitely good value. I ate three and my wife had two, and we were good to go. First time to this location. They have another location in Upland. To be honest I like this location. It's more homey and feels like an old cafe. (The other place is an old Mimi's, bigger and has a bar. We went to watch a Dodgers game and just had appetizers.)I have a different review for that location. I had the Menudo and I ordered a large bowl, to be honest I probably could have ordered a regular bowl because there's so much meat inside and the large bowl was a bit too much, but no worries, I didn't waste any! Lol. I ordered Menudo for comparison to both locations and I think the Menudo is better at this location. No offense to the cooks at the other location. The service was great! Fast and friendly. They have counter seats as well as booth and tables. It's located the back of shopping center and there's plenty of parking. The menu is pretty good with many different types of food to order. I will have to come back, to either location, to try out something else. I know that they have different locations but I think they are still a family small business doing well to have multiple locations in the same area. (2) the hash browns didn't legally qualify as hash browns: somebody shredded some cooked potatoes and smashed them sort of (sort of) almost flat. They were not crisp, at all. And they were bland. One of my favorite spots for breakfast. Kind of a creatures of habit, so I will usually get their French toast. I tried their cinnamon revolution French toast, but that wasn't as moist so I went back to the traditional. We also like to come for their taco Tuesdays. Went today and ordered a fajita burrito with easy rice. I cut it in half and I had nothing but onions maybe four chunks of meat. I don't like to send my food back for obvious reasons. Let me just say their biscuits and gravy are the best. But this time I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast. It was obvious that the cinnamon roll was not fresh.
