We came to Brandon's today for breakfast with family. We come because they have many locations, and they're consistent through and through, and it's the nice diner feeling. This one is more updated that the Fontana location. It was about 11am on a Saturday took us probably about 15 mins to get seated. The service was fair. Our bill took a while to be separated, but that's our bad for not saying it from the beginning. The waitresses have to do it by hand, they may benefit from a newer system. Everything came out together which was nice since we were all able to eat together. Overall great. read more

We have been coming to Brandon's for years. The menu is not restrictive. You get.... Choices!!! They have weekday specials and a senior menu (Available Monday to Friday). I can ask that my French Toast be extra crispy ( I like the crunch) or that my chorizo be cooked separately and served on the side. I LOVE that. If there is a problem, which does not happen frequently, (Hey, stuff happens!) they fix it, no problem. All in all, we love Brandon's! read more

We went as a party of four and ordered breakfast. We all were very satisfied with our food. Our server was fantastic and could not have asked for better. Plenty of room to eat large are to eat. Brandon's is a go to for me..always good. read more

We had heard about Taco Tuesday here from some friends, so we finally went to try it out. At $2.50 per taco, they are definitely good value. I ate three and my wife had two, and we were good to go. Both the beef and the chicken are good. Salsa was very good as well. We won't be coming back here regularly, but it was fun to try. read more

I moved to Alta Loma in 1995 and I used to take my grand children, grand nephew's and their friends here before it was enlarged. At that time the food was excellent and so was the service. We have continued coming here and I noticed my grandson called it "our cafe" last time he was here with his own little boy. This time he had to help ME up on the curb where I used to help him up the curb. It is larger now, and there are two other Brandon's that I know about nearer to me in Upland. But we still go to the Baseline restaurant, I am 91 and almost 92, and yet when I was in there last week, with a co-worker I had worked with in 1995, in Long Beach, it was STILL excellent food and excellent, warm service. They have always had excellent staff. The looks and size may change a little, but the warm welcome and good food stays the same. When we have relatives who are here from out of town/state we still meet at Brandon's, even though I now live in Upland and one my Grandson's lives in Redondo Beach, my daughter now lives in Corona. I have grand children scattered from Canada to AZ, to other parts of CA but we meet at Brandon's on Baseline. Thanks for the years of good food, and warm, caring service, you never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable when I had a table full of kids aged 3-7 or now when they are all ages and sizes and we still love to talk and relax as we eat. Thank you to Brandon's for so many years of good food and excellent service. I am not computer savvy enough to add pictures. read more

First time to this location. They have another location in Upland. To be honest I like this location. It's more homey and feels like an old cafe. (The other place is an old Mimi's, bigger and has a bar. We went to watch a Dodgers game and just had appetizers.)I have a different review for that location. I had the Menudo and I ordered a large bowl, to be honest I probably could have ordered a regular bowl because there's so much meat inside and the large bowl was a bit too much, but no worries, I didn't waste any! Lol. I ordered Menudo for comparison to both locations and I think the Menudo is better at this location. No offense to the cooks at the other location. The service was great! Fast and friendly. They have counter seats as well as booth and tables. It's located the back of shopping center and there's plenty of parking. The menu is pretty good with many different types of food to order. I will have to come back, to either location, to try out something else. I know that they have different locations but I think they are still a family small business doing well to have multiple locations in the same area. Please support small support small businesses and I thank you for your time to read my message. Please be kind and enjoy. read more

Who charges for water? Such a disappointment for Brandon's. I'm sad to say, that's enough to not send me back to them. I usually go to the mountain location but came here. I'm assuming to they're not charging for a glass of tap Water at both locations. . I'd rather go elsewhere if I'm gonna pay for a water- I want the good filtered glad bottled stuff. read more

$1.24 each for a glass of tap water. Definitely not okay. They don't tell you when you order. I saw another review saying it was .60, but ours said $2.48 for 2 glasses. Even if the food was okay, we won't be back. read more

The food is pretty good for the price. Some of the waitresses are pretty rude though. It is a typical diner and has plenty of seating. Overall a decent place to eat. read more

The place is clean, and the staff is friendly. (1) the biscuits and gravy was super bland. Pouring salt and pepper on it didn't help. (2) the hash browns didn't legally qualify as hash browns: somebody shredded some cooked potatoes and smashed them sort of (sort of) almost flat. They were not crisp, at all. And they were bland. (3) the chicken fried steak tasted good, and had good mouth feel. (4) the "fresh fruit" wasn't. read more

Brandon's is a casual diner. American and Mexican food choices are on the menu. The staff has been attentive and the food- while not artisinal, is reliably good with a fair portion size. If you don't care for fancy, or a hip place this would be a good place to consider. The prices are $13-$22 average depending on your selection. I like the beef tacos. They are generous with the shredded beef. The beans are average. I would go back again but i usually prefer a more artisanal dining place. read more

One of my favorite spots for breakfast. Kind of a creatures of habit, so I will usually get their French toast. I tried their cinnamon revolution French toast, but that wasn't as moist so I went back to the traditional. We also like to come for their taco Tuesdays. Only a few bucks per taco, the hard shell tacos just like my mom used to make us as a kid. Customer service is usually pretty good. Wait times aren't too long. The restaurant was remodeled a few years ago but looks like a mom and pop diner. read more

Brandon's Diner - If you're hungry, you can add many different sides. The sausage are a decent size and not the whimpy ones. - Diners Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I have been to this Brandon's before and it was good , however today I was So disappointed, we had to send our French toast back because I couldn't tell what it was cooked with , it looked like rubber and uncooked and cold , my crispy taco wasn't crisp on the bottom , it was cold and sitting so it lost the crispy ness . I will not go back to the Brandon's on baseline ever again ! read more

Service was really good and our waitress was the best .. Food wasn't the greatest, I ordered chile verde over eggs and had no flavor whatsoever , house fries no flavor either, sucks. The food was basically bland. The best thing was pancakes. read more

Stephanie was such a great server-so nice and kind!! Thank you for brightening our morning

The tacos are the best !! However, I was truly disappointed when I was charged for a glass a water. Not bottled. This is the first time I ever order water. Is this even legal ?? I was so disappointed. I always tip at least 20% so those .60 could have gone to my soon to be Mother- Faith who is pleasant with great service. It's just the point- SMH read more

Service was great. Our server was very attentive. The soda cups are big and the side salad was delicious and a nice size. Hubby had the meatloaf sandwich and he said it was "pretty good". However I had the vile verde fries and the flavor was lacking authenticity. Seemed like one of the older locations but nicely decorated. I did notice there was a little bar in the corner. read more

The menu is so extensive. There is something for everyone. The restaurant is big. We went early and did not need to wait. They accommodated dietary needs. We have eaten here before, and we wanted to return. Not too many diners have such an extensive menu. There is something for everyone. The sign right inside the restaurant lends itself to a cute selfie. They open early, which is a plus for travelers. Their portions are good enough to hold you over until a late lunch when you eat early. read more

This place has a classic dine vibe. A very large menu with lots of different options. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, I believe all day. I went on a Sunday morning so there was a little bit of a wait. Our food came out relatively quick however our server was not the best. We were missing some things and she gave me a chimichanga instead of a California burrito which someone else came over to fix quickly. Food was all very good it was hard to pick just one thing. I also had a crispy potato taco and that was great too. My friends spoke highly of their taco Tuesday which I would love to go back and try. read more

From the moment I walked in, it felt like I had stepped into my grandma's dining room--warm, welcoming, and just missing the plastic-covered couch. The staff? Super friendly and on top of things. the fact they have seating right next to where they are getting the food, it's so closterphobic & terrible for dining this place gets one star why would you guys want and expect a tip when you have 100 people walking next to your food back and fourth + it's noises and they have carts going up and down the isle this is a terrible setup will not be returning. read more

Great tacos for Taco Tuesday! Highly recommend the shredded beef tacos. Their salsa is nice and tasty too. Super yummy!

Haven't been here in awhile. Food was good service was awesome by Daniel. Very friendly and on top of everything. The coffee here is one of the best tasting, not bitter or old tasting at all, you know the gross kind you can sometimes get? Ordered -Chicken strips and fries, was good. -regular French toast, this was very t I haven't been here in awhile so thought I'd go. Well this didn't happen. Walked in and waited 15 min. Went today and ordered a fajita burrito with easy rice. I cut it in half and I had nothing but onions maybe four chunks of meat. I don't like to send my food back for obvious reasons. The waitress had to be reminded several times of stuff that we needed at our table. I called back to speak to the manager regarding the burrito. They put the waitress back on the phone and she claims that she saw the cook put a bunch of meat in the burrito and if I wanted to talk to the cook. WTH ‍. I will never go back poor service and mediocre food. read more

Love this place! The tacos and margaritas are so good (even better on happy hour!) Susana was our server and it seemed like she was catering to certain people....giving others chips and salsa when we didn't get any and we had to ask her 3 times for water and 2 times for a drink we ordered.... But other wise enjoy the place just gets super packed on Tuesdays for Taco Tuesday read more

Last time for me here. I think your staff is rude and most have no personality. We were seated and left alone for about twenty minutes mind you after our drinks were served. We decided to leave and tried to pay for our drinks. The waitress came out and straight lied and said she was on a break when I can surely see you. And even if this was true in any service industry you have someone cover your tables. Pffffft. DONE!! read more

I'm just came from Las Vegas. I ate at different 4 and 5 stars restaurants, super high prices, cold food, awfull service, and coming here, ask for salmon ( perfectly cooked) baked potato (hot and perfectly cooked) and vegetables ( tender to perfection) and with excellent service brought me the best salmon I ate in several years!! We came in for breakfast and sat down to a table fast. Normally there is a wait, but it is well worth it. The inside is decorated very well nice counter to sit at if you do not want to wait. They also have. The option of ordering Mexican Food or your traditional American Food. Either way it all tastes great. If you happen to be in the area, drop in and enjoy a great meal. read more

Let me just say their biscuits and gravy are the best. But this time I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast. It was obvious that the cinnamon roll was not fresh. I like my French toast dipped in batter for a while so that the egg mixture soaks into the bread, but the inside was dry and I could taste that it was a little bit stale. I will not order the cinnamon roll French toast again, but they are my go to place for biscuits and gravy. read more
